Follow these steps to properly install your LINEA DOMO DO91304C:

1. Remove all exterior and interior packing. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth and the inside with a wet, lukewarm cloth. Dry the appliance well.

2. Do not tilt the refrigerator more than 45° when moving it. Do not apply force to any part like the door or handle.

3. Ensure free air circulation around the cabinet. Allow 10 cm of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator and any adjacent wall, and 30 cm of space between the top side and the ceiling.

4. Make sure there is sufficient space to open the door. This unit is not intended for use as a built-in appliance.

5. Select a place with a strong, level floor. Avoid direct sunlight and heat, as well as very moist places.

6. Before connecting to the power supply, check that the voltage on the rating label matches the voltage in your home. A different voltage could damage the appliance.

7. After installation, leave the appliance for 24 hours before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

8. Allow the appliance to run empty for 12 hours so the compartments can cool to the appropriate temperature.

9. You can level the appliance using the adjustable legs by screwing them in or out.

It is recommended to have an authorized service agent or technician perform the door conversion. Before you begin, ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty. After reversing the door, leave the appliance alone for 8 hours before switching it on to allow the coolant to set.

Steps:

1. Remove the upper hinge cover (1) and the upper hinge (2).

2. Move the screw covers and the handle from one side of the upper door to the other. Then remove the upper door and place it on a soft surface to avoid scratching.

3. Remove the middle hinge (3). Remove the lower door and place it on a soft surface.

4. Move the cover caps from one side to the other.

5. Remove the lower hinge (4) and the left adjustable foot. Attention: The inclination of the refrigerator must be less than 45°. If you lay the unit completely flat, wait 24 hours before turning it back on.

6. Remove the hinge pin from the lower hinge plate and turn it 180°. Remount the pin in the hinge so that it protrudes upwards when the hinge is turned.

7. Attach this hinge to the bottom of the appliance on the left-hand side and the adjustable foot on the right. Refit the bottom door to the appliance.

8. Move the screw covers and the handle from one side of the lower door to the other.

9. Attach the middle hinge.

10. Refit the upper door to the appliance with the upper hinge.

11. Refit the upper hinge cover (1).

12. Remove the rubber seals from the doors, turn them over, and replace them.

The LINEA DOMO DO91304C is controlled with a temperature control knob located inside the appliance. Adjust the control knob as desired. The higher the number, the colder the temperature. Position 4 is the recommended position for normal use.

Depending on the ambient temperature and the contents, you may want to change the setting to 5 or 6 for more cooling, or to 2 or 3 if it’s too cold. It is recommended to wait one day after adjusting the temperature to correctly assess it.

In the 0 position, the appliance does not operate (the cooling system is switched off), but the power supply is not interrupted.

• Make sure that strong-smelling foods are wrapped or covered and stored away from foods like butter, milk, and cream.

• Cool hot foods down before placing them in the fridge.

Freezing and Storing Food in the Freezer

Use the freezer to store deep-frozen food, make ice cubes, and freeze fresh food. Ensure the freezer door is closed properly and avoid opening the drawers unnecessarily.

Freezing Fresh Food

• Freeze fresh and undamaged food only. Vegetables should be blanched before freezing to retain nutritional value, flavor, and color (aubergines, peppers, zucchini, and asparagus do not require blanching).

• Keep food to be frozen away from food which is already frozen.

• Foods suitable for freezing: Cakes, pastries, fish, seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products (cheese, butter), ready meals, and leftovers.

• Foods not suitable for freezing: Vegetables usually consumed raw (lettuce, radishes), eggs in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears, peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise.

Packing Frozen Food

To prevent food from losing flavor or drying out, place it in airtight packaging.

1. Place food in packaging.

2. Remove air.

3. Seal the wrapping.

4. Label packaging with contents and dates of freezing.

Suitable packaging includes plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminum foil, and freezer containers.

These times vary depending on the type of food. Food frozen in your LINEA DOMO DO91304C can be preserved from 1 to 12 months (minimum at -18°C).

Important: When you freeze fresh foods with a ‘use by/best before’ date, you must freeze them before the expiry of that date. Check that the food was not already frozen. Frozen food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen. Once defrosted, food should be consumed quickly.

Vacation Time

For short vacation periods, you can leave the control knobs at their usual settings. During longer absences:

• Remove all foods.

• Disconnect from the electrical outlet.

• Clean the refrigerator thoroughly, including the defrost pan.

• Leave the door open to avoid possible formations of condensate, mould, or odours.

Power Failure
