1. Make an opening in the wall the size of the wall adapter (125 mm). Insert the wall adapter into the opening and attach it to the wall using the 4 supplied plugs and screws.

2. Place the hose/appliance connector on one side of the air outlet hose and the hose/wall adapter connector on the other. Push them onto the hose until they snap into place.

3. Attach the hose to the unit. The side with the hose/appliance connector should be mounted on the air outlet at the back of the appliance. Slide the connector into the holders, ensuring the hook matches the notch above the air outlet.

4. Attach the air outlet hose to the wall adapter.

5. When not using the air conditioner, you can close the wall adapter with the cover.

The control panel has the following touch controls:

• ON/OFF touch: Turns the unit on or off.

• SLEEP touch: Activates sleep mode. The set temperature will increase by 1°C after 30 minutes, and by another 1°C after another 30 minutes. This new temperature is maintained for 7 hours, after which the unit returns to the original setting. This function cannot be used in “fan” or “dry” mode.

• FAN touch: Selects the fan speed. There are four settings: low, medium, high, and auto. The indicator light does not illuminate in auto mode.

General Usage:

• The remote works within 8 meters of the unit. Point it towards the air conditioner. A beep signal confirms transmission.

• Signals can be blocked by curtains, doors, or other materials.

• Keep the remote dry and away from direct sunlight or heat.

• If the infrared sensor on the appliance is in direct sunlight, it may not react to the remote.

Batteries:

• The remote uses 2 AAA (R03/LR3) batteries.

• To install, remove the battery compartment cover, place the batteries according to the + and – indications, and replace the cover.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

• Remove batteries if you won’t use the remote for more than two months.

• NOTE: When you remove the batteries, all selections are deleted and must be reinstalled.

• ON/OFF BUTTON: Turns the unit on or off.

• ARROW BUTTONS: Sets the temperature. Hold down for 3 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

• MODE BUTTON: Selects the function: cool – fan – dry – auto. (Note: A heat mode may appear on the remote, but the unit is not equipped with a heat function).

• FAN BUTTON: Selects the fan speed: auto, low, medium, high.

• TIMER ON BUTTON: Sets a delayed start time. Press to activate and repeatedly press to increase the time (up to 24 hours). Pressing ON/OFF cancels all timers.

• TIMER OFF BUTTON: Sets a delayed stop time. Press to activate and repeatedly press to increase the time (up to 24 hours).

• SHORTCUT BUTTON: Press for 3 seconds to save the current settings (mode, temperature, fan speed, sleep setting). A single press will recall these settings.

• SLEEP BUTTON: Activates sleep mode for comfortable night-time temperature and energy savings (for “cool” and “auto” modes only).

• SWING BUTTON: Adjusts the air flow direction.

• FOLLOW ME BUTTON: Activates a function where the temperature is measured at the remote control’s location instead of the unit. The remote sends a signal every 3 minutes. Place the remote where you want the temperature to be optimal.

• LED BUTTON: Turns off all indicator lights on the unit’s display, for example, when using at night. Press again to turn them back on.

There are two ways to manage condensation water:

Permanent Drain:

You can use this method during “dry” mode for continuous drainage.

1. Remove the drain plug and the rubber top.

2. Attach the drain hose to the drain.

3. Ensure the water is drained in a safe and permanent way.

Drain Code P1 (Internal Water Tank):

When not using the permanent drain, condensation water is stored in the internal tank. When the tank is full, the unit will beep, display the code P1, and the “cool” or “dry” mode will stop automatically (the fan will continue to operate).

1. Move the unit to a place where you can easily drain the water.

2. Remove the drain plug at the bottom of your unit and drain the water completely.

3. After draining, place the drain plug back on the drain opening securely.

4. Restart the unit. The P1 code should disappear. If it persists, try turning the unit off and on a few times.

Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Never use chemical or abrasive products, and never clean with water as it can cause electrocution.

Air Filters:

• The unit contains 2 air filters. Clean them at least every 2 weeks to prevent malfunction due to dust.

• Clean the filters in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.

• Rinse the filters thoroughly and let them air dry completely.

• Once dry, place them back in the unit.

Air Conditioning Body:

• Use a damp, soft cloth with a bit of mild detergent to clean the outside of the unit.

• Make sure the unit is thoroughly dried afterwards.

To store the unit for a long period, follow these steps:

1. Drain all the water from the appliance.

2. Turn on the unit in “fan” mode for half a day while it is in a heated room. This will dry the unit completely and prevent mold from forming.

3. Turn off the unit, remove the plug from the socket, and remove the batteries from the remote control.

4. Clean the filters and place them back in the unit.

5. Store the unit in a dry, dark place.
