To prevent the contamination of food in your LINEA DOMO DO913DV, follow the instructions below:

• Keeping the door open for long periods may cause the temperature in the compartments of the appliance to rise considerably.

• Clean the surfaces that could come into contact with food regularly. Keep the condensation channel and drainage hole at the back of the appliance clean.

• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator so that they do not come into contact with or drip onto other food.

• If the appliance is left empty for longer periods, it should be turned off, defrosted, and cleaned. Allow it to dry and leave the door ajar to prevent mould from growing in the appliance.

Before the first use of your LINEA DOMO DO913DV freezer, follow these steps:

1. Remove all exterior and interior packing materials.

2. Wipe the outside thoroughly with a soft dry cloth and the inside with a wet, lukewarm cloth.

3. Position the appliance away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as these can affect the coating and increase electricity consumption. Avoid very moist places.

4. Before connecting to the power supply, check that the voltage on the rating label matches your home’s voltage. A different voltage could damage the appliance.

1. Remove the 2 screws on the back of the top cover.

2. Lift the top cover away from the fridge.

4. Remove the bottom screw, hinge bracket, and adjustable foot from the bottom of the appliance.

5. Remove the adjustable foot from the other side of the bottom and transfer it to the corresponding position on the opposite side.

6. Attach the screws, hinge bracket, and adjustable foot to the opposite side of the bottom. Loosely secure them.

7. Carefully set the door back into place. Ensure the door is aligned horizontally and vertically so that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening the top hinge. Insert the hinge back and screw it to the top of the appliance.

8. Use a spanner to tighten it if necessary.

9. Put the top cover back and fix it in place with the screws.

10. With the door closed, check that the door is aligned horizontally and vertically and that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening the bottom hinge. Readjust the levelling feet as required.

The LINEA DOMO DO913DV freezer is controlled by a temperature control knob located inside the appliance. Adjust the control knob to your desired setting:

• Setting 1 is the warmest setting.

• Setting 4 is the coldest setting.

Position 2 is the recommended position for normal use.

When you use the appliance for the first time or after defrosting, adjust the control knob to the coldest setting for at least 2 hours before introducing food, and then readjust to the middle setting.

General Use:

• Use the freezer to store deep-frozen food, make ice cubes, and freeze fresh food.

• Ensure the freezer door is properly closed and avoid opening the drawers unnecessarily.

Purchasing Frozen Food:

Freezing Fresh Food:

• Freeze only fresh and undamaged food. To retain the best nutritional value, flavor, and color, vegetables should be blanched before freezing (except for aubergines, peppers, zucchini, and asparagus).

• Keep food to be frozen away from food that is already frozen.

• Foods suitable for freezing: Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products like cheese and butter, ready meals, and leftovers.

• Foods not suitable for freezing: Vegetables usually consumed raw (lettuce, radishes), eggs in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears, peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise.

Packing Frozen Food:

To prevent food from losing flavor or drying out, place it in airtight packaging.

1. Place food in packaging.

2. Remove air.

3. Seal the wrapping.

4. Label packaging with contents and date of freezing.

Suitable packaging includes plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminum foil, and freezer containers.

The recommended storage times for frozen food in your LINEA DOMO DO913DV (at a minimum of -18°C) vary depending on the type of food. The food you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months.

Important Note: When you freeze fresh foods with a ‘use by/best before’ date, you must freeze them before the expiry of this date. Also, check that the food was not already frozen. Frozen food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen.

To clean your LINEA DOMO DO913DV freezer, follow these steps:

1. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

2. Turn the appliance off and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

4. Clean the appliance with a soft cloth, warm water, and detergent.

5. Wipe the door seal with clear water only and then wipe it dry thoroughly.
