Fill the kettle till the max water level. Place an empty cup under the spout on the drip tray. Turn the device on and let the water run into the cup. Add a descaler to the cup. Pour the contents of the cup back into the water tank and close the lid. Place the empty cup back below the spout and turn the device on. Let the water run though into the cup. Remove the water from the cup. Repeat steps 4 until 6 until the water level reaches the min water level. Open the lid and remove all remaining water from the water tank. Clean the water tank by filling it with fresh water and removing it afterwards. Fill the water tank until the max water level. Place an empty cup of water below the spout. Turn the device on let the boiling water run into the cup. Remove the water from the cup. Repeat steps 10 to 11 until you reach the min water level. Remove the remaining water. Now you can fill the water tank again with clean, fresh water. Your device is ready to be used again.
