When using your LG LSAA012-TX, please adhere to the following safety precautions to prevent unexpected danger or harm:

WARNING: Ignoring a warning message may lead to serious injury, accident, or death.

CAUTION: Ignoring a caution message may result in slight injury or damage to the product.

A key warning is that this product is for Indoor Use Only.

WARNINGS:

• Operate the display only from a power source (i.e., voltage) indicated in the product specification. Otherwise, the product can be damaged, a fire can occur, or you may be electrocuted.

• Be sure to connect the AC cable to a grounded power disconnecting device to avoid electrocution or injury.

• Insert the AC cable securely to prevent it from coming loose, which could cause a fire or electric shock.

• Never touch the power cord and signal cable during a thunderstorm, as it can be very dangerous and cause an electric shock.

• Avoid placing heavy objects on or stepping on the AC cable. Do not bend or pull the AC cable with excessive force.

• If water or any foreign substance enters the product, disconnect the AC cable immediately and contact the service center.

• Keep the AC cable away from heating devices, as the cord coating may melt and cause a fire or electric shock.

• As long as the unit is connected to the AC wall outlet, it is not disconnected from the AC power source even if the unit is turned off. To ensure power consumption is zero, the AC cable must be disconnected.

CAUTIONS:

• If there is dust on the AC cable or the power disconnecting device, wipe them clean to prevent overheating.

• If there is moisture on the AC cable or device, wipe it clean and do not touch with wet hands.

• Do not turn the product on or off by connecting or disconnecting the AC cable; use the power button instead.

• Do not disconnect the AC cable while the product is in use, as the electrical shock can damage the product.

WARNINGS:

• Contact the service center before moving the product to avoid electric shock and damage.

• Before moving the product, ensure it is turned off, unplugged, and all cables have been removed.

• When moving the product, do not shock or cause an impact on the front panel to prevent damage.

• Use the correct number of people according to the weight of the product (Under 25 kg (55.1 lbs) per person). Use lifting equipment for weights exceeding 100 kg (220.4 lbs).

CAUTION:

• Do not dispose of the product-packing box. Use it when moving by putting the product in the box to carry it.

WARNINGS:

• Do not install the product yourself; contact a service engineer authorized by the service center.

• Install the product firmly on a floor or wall to protect against external impacts like wind and earthquake.

• Do not install where there are heating devices such as electrical heaters or lighting equipment.

• Do not install on a wall where it could be exposed to oil or oil mist, as this may damage the product and cause it to fall.

• Install the product in a dry place, away from dust and water. Avoid high temperatures and humidity.

• Safely install the product in a place that can hold its weight to prevent it from falling.

CAUTIONS:

• Install the product where no Electromagnetic Interference occurs.

• Ensure the product is well-ventilated by installing it at a distance of 100 mm (3.9 inches) or more from the wall to prevent internal heat buildup.

• Do not install the product in an area with poor ventilation (e.g., on a bookshelf, in a closet) or on cushions or carpets.

• Install the product on a flat, stable surface large enough to support it.

WARNINGS:

• Keep the product clean at all times. If it becomes covered in dust for a long time, it can cause fire or product damage.

• To clean the inside of the product, you must contact the service center.

• When cleaning the product’s exterior, disconnect the AC cable and wipe it gently with a soft cloth to prevent scratches.

• Do not physically come in contact with the screen of the LED Package, as this may cause damage.

• To clean the product, use an air gun to lightly remove dust from the front frame and the screen. Foreign substances between the LEDs can cause a defect.

CAUTION:

• When cleaning, unplug the power cord. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the product. Do not clean with chemicals such as glass cleaner, air freshener, insecticide, lubricants, wax, abrasive, thinner, benzene, or alcohol, as they can damage the product or its panel.

• Do not dispose of this product with general household waste.

• Disposal of the LG LSAA012-TX must be carried out in accordance with the regulations of your local authority.

1. When taking the product out of its packaging, make sure the screen is not pressed. Use the provided protection pads for support.

2. To stand the product upright, hold it on both sides so that the LED package screen does not touch the floor.

3. When placing the product down, lay the protective pad on the floor and place the LED package screen facing down on the pad.

4. If you do not have a pad, ensure the floor is clear of foreign objects before carefully placing the screen facing down or up. Be careful not to drop objects on the LED package screen.

CAUTION: After removing the protective corner brackets, if the product is tilted towards the LED package screen or its edge, the bottom or corner of the product may be damaged.

Before installing the product, you need to disassemble the protective brackets attached to each edge. The brackets are attached with M4 x L8 screws.

NOTE: Keep the protective brackets because you will need them to move the product again in the future.

Temperature:

• A cooling system should be in place for the enclosure to maintain the product’s operating temperature between 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F). The recommended room temperature is below 25 °C (77 °F).

• Install in a location where warm air from an air conditioner does not directly affect the product to prevent malfunctions.

Direct Sunlight:

• Install in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight to prevent the screen from appearing blurry due to light reflection.

Installation Position:

• Ensure the distance from the ceiling to the product is at least 400 mm (15.7 inches) to allow high-temperature air to circulate.

• Ensure the distance from the floor to the product is at least 100 mm (3.9 inches) to allow air to circulate easily.

If no image is displayed on your LG LSAA012-TX, check the following:

• Is the AC cable connected to the product?

– Make sure the AC cable is properly connected to the power disconnecting device.

• Is the ‘No Signal’ message displayed?

– This indicates there is no connection between the system controller (CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X) and the input source. Check the LAN cable connection status and access the Input menu to check the input source.

• Does the ‘Invalid Mode’ message appear?

– If so, refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X system controller.

If the screen image appears abnormal, try these troubleshooting steps:

• Is the screen position wrong?

– Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X system controller to adjust the position.

• The screen is displayed abnormally.

– The proper input source may not be connected to the port. Connect a cable that matches the input source signal.

• The screen flickers or shakes.

– Check if the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X system controller is powered off.

If you experience color issues on your display, consider the following:

• Screen has poor color resolution (16 colors).

– Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X system controller.

• The screen color is unstable or looks black and white.

– Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X system controller.

• Does a black dot appear on the screen?

– A few pixels (red, green, blue, white, and black) that appear on the screen are due to the inherent characteristics of the LED surface. This is not a malfunction of the screen.

The LG LSAA012-TX contains the Wireless module (KSS104M) with the following specifications:

• Technology: ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying)

• Frequency Range: 57 GHz to 64 GHz

• Output Power (Max. dBm e.i.r.p.): 10

For user safety, this device should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm (7.8 inches) between the device and the body.

You can set a schedule to use your LG LSAA012-TX at specific times and days of the week through the settings menu under Ez Setting -> On/Off Scheduler.

• On/Off Time Setting: Set on/off times for each day of the week.

• Holiday Setting: Set holidays by date and by day of the week to override the regular schedule.

The Fail Over feature, found in the Ez Setting menu, sets the priority of input devices when a fault occurs. It can automatically play content stored in the device or run a set app if the primary input signal is lost.

• On/Off: Turns the Fail Over feature on or off.

• Input Priority: Set the priority of input sources for fail over.

• Backup via storage: When there is no input signal, this feature automatically plays content from internal/external memory or runs an application. This can be set to:

– Auto: Plays back a captured screenshot of the last valid image/video.

– Manual: Plays back a specific image or video file that you upload.

– SuperSign Contents: Plays files distributed from a SuperSign CMS.

– SI App / Play via URL: Runs an SI App or plays content from a URL.

NOTE: If multiple input devices are connected simultaneously, the signage will automatically switch to the one with the highest priority that has a valid signal, even if a failure has not occurred.

The Status Mailing feature configures the system to assess the device’s status and notify an administrator by e-mail if any issues arise. You can configure this in Ez Setting -> Status Mailing.

The settings include:

• On/Off: Turns the feature on or off.

• Mailing Option, Scheduling: Sets the email sending interval.

• User E-mail Address: The sender’s email address.

• Sending Server(SMTP): The SMTP server address.

• ID / Password: The account credentials for the sender’s email.

• Receiver E-mail Address: The recipient’s email address.

• Send message: Immediately sends a status email.

Status emails can be triggered by changes in temperature, LAN status, signal loss, schedule play status, and failover status.

You can configure automatic power-off features in the General -> Power menu:

• No Signal Power Off (15 Min): When set to ‘On’, the product will turn off after it has remained in a ‘No Signal’ status for 15 minutes. It is recommended to set this to ‘Off’ if you intend to use the product for long periods of time.

• No IR Power Off (4hour): When set to ‘On’, the product will turn off if there is no input from the remote control for 4 hours. It is recommended to set this to ‘Off’ if you intend to use the product for long periods of time.

You can choose the optimal picture mode for your installation environment by going to Display -> Picture Mode. The available modes are:

• Shopping Mall, Airport & Station, Office & School, Control Room: Displays the mode optimized for the specific installing environment.

• Calibration: Allows an expert, or anyone who loves picture quality, to manually tune to the best picture quality.

Under the [Customize] option, you can adjust detailed settings such as:

• LED Light: Adjust screen brightness by tuning the LED Light.

• Contrast: Adjust the difference between light and dark areas.

• Brightness: Adjust the overall brightness of the screen.

• Sharpness: Adjust the sharpness of the edges of objects.

• Color: Soften or deepen the tints on the screen.

• Tint: Adjust the balance between red and green levels.

• Expert Controls: Access advanced options like Dynamic Contrast, Color Gamut, White Balance, and more for fine-tuning.

You can lock various functions to prevent unauthorized changes by navigating to Admin -> Lock Mode. Available locks include:

• Home Dashboard Lock: Limits changes in the settings of the Home Dashboard.

• USB Lock: Prevents settings or content from being changed via USB.

• OSD Lock: Prevents changes to the on-screen display settings.

• IR Operation Lock: Disables the remote control. You can set it to block all keys or all keys except the power key.

• Local Key Lock: Disables the physical buttons on the monitor. You can set it to block all keys or all keys except the power key.

• Wi-Fi Lock: Turns the Wi-Fi feature on or off.

• Screen Share Lock: Enables, disables, or requires a PIN for the Screen Share feature.

You can manage these administrative functions in the Admin menu.

Change Password:

1. Navigate to Admin -> Change Password.

2. Enter your current password (The default is 000000).

3. Enter a new 6-digit password.

4. Enter the new password again to confirm.

Factory Reset:

• Navigate to Admin -> Factory Reset. This initializes all settings in the [Setting] menu and deletes files from the internal storage. Certain professional settings like Calibration values and Video Wall settings are not reset.

Gallery Mode allows you to appreciate the natural environment and famous paintings on your LG LSAA012-TX. You can access it by opening the [Gallery Mode] app from the home screen.

• You can play a theme by clicking the representative image in the middle of the screen or a preview image at the bottom.

• You can go to [MY THEMES] to set the order of the themes to play.

• Within the theme player, you can access a theme list via [GO TO LIST] and turn the background music on or off using [THEME SOUND].

The ScreenShare feature allows the screen of a user’s device (such as a mobile phone or PC) to be shared with the LG LSAA012-TX display using a wireless connection like WiDi or Miracast.

How to Use:

1. On the display, go to INPUT -> ScreenShare.

2. Connect your device according to the instructions provided by the guide that can be accessed through the CONNECTION GUIDE button in the upper right.

3. Once the connection is established, the screen share between your device and the monitor is enabled.

NOTE:

• This feature only works properly with WiDi 3.5 or later versions.

• This feature only works on Windows 8.1 or later.
