WARNING: If you ignore the warning message, you may be seriously injured or there is a possibility of accident or death.

WARNING: The LG LSAA012-MX is for Indoor Use Only.

Please follow these precautions regarding the AC cable and power for your LG LSAA012-MX:

WARNINGS:

– Before using an AC cable, make sure it conforms to national standards.

– Operate the display only from a power source (i.e. voltage) indicated in the product specification. If you are not sure, consult a certified installation company.

– Be sure to connect the AC cable to a grounded power disconnecting device to avoid electrocution or injury.

– Insert the AC cable securely so that it does not come loose, as a poor connection may cause a fire or electric shock.

– In the presence of thunder and lightning, never touch the power cord and signal cable as it can be very dangerous.

– Do not place heavy objects (electronic appliances, clothes, etc.) on or step on the AC cable. Do not bend or pull the AC cable with excessive force.

– Do not connect a damaged AC cable to a power disconnecting device.

– Do not insert a conductor (like a metal chopstick) into the power disconnecting device. Do not touch the AC cable directly after removing it from the device.

– If water or any foreign substance enters the product, disconnect the AC cable immediately and contact the service center.

– Keep the AC cable away from heating devices.

– Never disassemble, repair, or modify the AC cable.

– As long as this unit is connected to the AC wall outlet, it is not disconnected from the AC power source even if the unit is turned off. For the power consumption to be zero, the AC cable must be disconnected.

CAUTIONS:

– If there is dust on the AC cable or the power disconnecting device, wipe them clean to prevent overheating.

– If there is moisture on the AC cable or power disconnecting device, wipe them clean and do not touch them with wet hands.

– Do not turn the product on or off by connecting or disconnecting the AC cable. Do not use the AC cable as a switch.

– Do not disconnect the AC cable while the product is in use, as an electrical shock can damage the product.

WARNINGS:

– Contact the service center before moving the product to avoid electric shock and damage.

– Before moving, ensure the product is turned off, unplugged, and all cables have been removed.

– When moving the product, do not shock or cause an impact on the front panel.

– Use the correct number of people according to the product’s weight. Use lifting equipment when the product exceeds 100 kg (220.4 lbs), with a guideline of under 25 kg (55.1 lbs) per person.

– Do not hold it upside down while holding only the stand (for stand-supported models only).

CAUTION:

– Do not dispose of the product-packing box. Use it when moving by putting the product in the box to carry it.

Follow these guidelines for a safe installation of your LG LSAA012-MX:

WARNINGS:

– Contact the service center before installing the product.

– Do not drop objects on or impact the product. Keep it out of reach of children and do not place toys or objects near the screen.

– Do not put heavy objects on, or hang from, the product.

– Do not touch the product’s surface if it overheats.

– Install the product firmly fixed on a floor or wall to prepare against external impacts like wind and earthquake.

– Do not install it near heating devices like electrical heaters or lighting equipment.

– Do not install this product on a wall if it could be exposed to oil or oil mist.

– Install the product in a dry place, not near dust and water. Avoid high temperatures and humidity.

– Safely install the product in a place that can hold its weight.

– A readily accessible disconnect device shall be incorporated external to the equipment.

CAUTIONS:

– Install the product where no Electromagnetic Interference occurs.

– Make sure the product is well-ventilated by installing it at a distance of 100 mm (3.9 inches) or more from the wall.

– Do not block the vents with tablecloths, curtains, or other objects.

– Do not install the product in an area with poor ventilation (e.g., on a bookshelf, in a closet).

– Install the product on a flat and stable place that is large enough to support it.

– When installing on a shelf or cabinet, ensure the bottom end does not protrude forward.

WARNINGS:

– Keep the product clean at all times. If it becomes covered in dust for a long time, it can cause fire or damage.

– To clean the inside of the product, you must contact the service center.

– When cleaning the product, disconnect the AC cable and wipe it gently with a soft cloth to prevent scratches.

– Do not physically come in contact with the screen of the LED Package, as this may cause damage.

– To clean the product, use an air gun to lightly remove dust from the front frame and the screen. Foreign substances between the LEDs can cause a defect.

CAUTION:

– When cleaning the product or screen, unplug the power cord and wipe it gently with a soft cloth. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the product. Do not clean with chemicals like glass cleaner, air freshener, insecticide, lubricants, wax, abrasive, thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc., as they can damage the product or its panel.

Handling for Protecting LED Package Screen:

1. When taking the product out of the box, make sure the screen is not pressed. Use the provided protection pad for support.

2. To stand the product upright, hold it on both sides so that the LED package screen does not touch the floor.

3. Place the product with the LED package screen facing down. To protect the screen, lay the protective pad from the box on the floor.

4. If you do not have a pad, ensure there are no foreign objects on the floor, and then carefully place the LED package screen facing down or up. Do not drop objects on the screen.

Remove Protective Bracket:

Before installing the product, disassemble the protective brackets attached to each edge using the M4 x L8 screws. Keep these brackets as you will need them to move the product again in the future.

CAUTION:

– If the product is tilted towards the LED package screen after the corner brackets are removed, the bottom of the product may be damaged.

– If the product is tilted towards the edge of the LED package screen after the corner brackets are removed, the bottom corner of the product may be damaged.

Temperature:

– A cooling system should be used for the enclosure to maintain the product’s operating temperature between 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F). The recommended room temperature is below 25 °C (77 °F).

– Install in a location where warm air from an air conditioner does not directly affect the product to prevent malfunctions.

Direct Sunlight:

– Install in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight to prevent the screen from appearing blurry due to light reflection.

Installation Position:

– Ensure the distance from the ceiling to the product is at least 400 mm (15.7 inches) to allow high-temperature air to circulate.

– Ensure the distance from the floor to the product is at least 100 mm (3.9 inches) to allow air to circulate easily.

Installing on a Recessed Wall:

– A: Leave 100 mm (3.9 inches) or more of space behind the product.

– B: Leave 25 mm (0.9 inches) or more of space on the sides.

– C: Leave 60 mm (2.3 inches) or more of space on the top and bottom.

When Installing a Bezel:

– Ensure the bezel can be detached for product repair.

– For top/bottom bezels, secure at least 60% of the air vent to facilitate air circulation and prevent malfunction.

You can connect the LG LSAA012-MX to a power disconnecting device using an AC cable.

Power Connection Steps:

1. Prepare a power cable of 9 A (16 AWG) or more.

2. Check the power cable color connection. A table is provided below for different regions.

3. Use the AC cable to connect to the power disconnecting device. Use a cable that is long enough to be connected to the screen.

4. Use a ferrite core to block out noise from the power supply. Use 7 or more cores each for GND, L, and N when connecting to a master cabinet power cable (Manufacturer: TNC CO.,LTD.).

5. Connect the AC cable to the screen using an angle type O-type crimp terminal to connect to the G, N, L terminals on the screen’s power supply.

6. The AC cable needs to be secured to the fixing parts once it is connected to the screen. Ensure it is secured near the screen (100 mm or 3.9 inches or less is recommended).

7. Avoid water or dust during the connection process.

If there is no image on your LG LSAA012-MX, follow these troubleshooting steps:

– Is the AC cable connected to the product? Make sure the AC cable is properly connected to the power disconnecting device.

– Is the ‘No Signal’ message displayed? This means there is no connection between the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller and the input source. Check the connection status of the LAN cable. You can also access the Input menu to check the input source.

– Does the ‘Invalid Mode’ message appear? Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller.

If the screen image is abnormal on your LG LSAA012-MX, try the following:

– Is the screen position wrong? Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller to adjust it.

– The screen is displayed abnormally. This can happen if the proper input source is not connected to the port. Connect a cable that matches the input source signal.

– The screen flickers or shakes. Check if the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller is powered off.

If you are experiencing color issues with your LG LSAA012-MX, check the following:

– Screen has poor color resolution (16 colors). Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller.

– The screen color is unstable or looks black and white. Refer to the manual of the CSAA-012X/CSAA-009X System Controller.

– Does a black dot appear on the screen? The few pixels (red, green, blue, white, and black) that may appear on the screen are due to the inherent characteristics of the LED surface. This is not a malfunction of the screen.

LSAA012-MX Model Specific Specifications

You can set Video Wall options to create a wide visual canvas on your LG LSAA012-MX. Navigate to SETTINGS > Ez Setting > Video Wall.

– [Tile Mode]: Turn Tile Mode on or off.

– [Tile Mode Settings]: Display a single integrated screen on multiple Signage monitors.

– [Simple Configuration]: Automatically sets Tile ID based on the connection direction of the set RS232C. This function should be run for the master set (Set ID 1).

– [Natural Mode]: Displays the image excluding the bezel overlap area, making the image feel more natural.

– [Frame Control]: Adjusts the sets that run Scan Inversion and frame deviation.

– [Scan Inversion]: Reduces screen deviation between adjoining video walls by changing the screen scanning method.

– [White Balance]: Configures white balance settings (White Pattern, R/G/B-Gain, and Luminance).

– [Reset]: Resets to initial settings.

– [Reboot to Apply]: Reboots the set to apply changed Frame Control/Scan Inversion values.

Note: When Tile Mode is enabled, the system automatically sets [Frame Control] for odd-numbered rows and [Scan Inversion] for even-numbered rows.

You can set a schedule to use your LG LSAA012-MX signage by time and day of the week. Navigate to SETTINGS > Ez Setting > On/Off Scheduler.

– [On/Off Time Setting]: Set on/off times for each day of the week.

– [Holiday Setting]: Set holidays by date and by day of the week.

The Fail Over feature automatically plays backup content or runs an app when the primary input signal fails. To configure it, go to SETTINGS > Ez Setting > Fail Over.

– [On/Off]: Turns Fail Over on or off.

– [Input Priority]: Set the priority of input sources for fail over.

– [Backup via storage]: When there is no input signal, this feature automatically plays content stored in the device or runs an app. When set to On, you can choose from the following:

– [Auto]: Plays back a captured screenshot of the last valid signal.

– [Manual]: Plays back a manually uploaded image or video file.

– [SuperSign Contents]: Plays files distributed from a SuperSign CMS.

– [SI App / Play via URL]: Runs a specified SI App or plays content from a URL.

– [reset]: Reset to initial settings.

Note: If multiple input devices are connected, the display will automatically switch to the one with the highest priority that has a valid signal, even if a failure does not occur.

The Status Mailing feature configures the system to assess the device’s status and notify an administrator by e-mail. Go to SETTINGS > Ez Setting > Status Mailing.

– [On/Off]: Turns Status Mailing on or off.

– [Mailing Option], [Scheduling]: Sets the email sending interval.

– [User E-mail Address]: Set the email address of the sender.

– [Sending Server(SMTP)]: Set the address of the SMTP server.

– [ID]: Enter the account ID of the sender.

– [Password]: Enter the password for the sender’s account.

– [Receiver E-mail Address]: Set the email address of the recipient.

– [Send message]: Immediately sends a status email.

– [reset]: Resets to initial settings.

Status messages can be sent for events like dangerous temperatures, LAN/WiFi status changes, no signal detection, schedule play status issues, and Fail Over status changes.

The Multi Screen feature allows you to view multiple external inputs and videos on a single screen. Navigate to SETTINGS > Ez Setting > Multi Screen. You can choose from modes like:

– PIP (Picture-in-Picture) Mode

– PBP (Picture-by-Picture) Mode

– 3-Screen Split Mode

– 4-Screen Split Mode

Selecting Screen Layout: When you enter multi-screen mode, a layout selection menu appears. If it’s not displayed, press the up arrow key on the remote control to bring up the menu bar and select your desired layout.

Changing Screen Input: Press the input selection button on the top right of each split screen to select the desired input. Inputs already selected for other split screens cannot be selected again unless you reset.

Playing Videos on Split Screens: Press the video file button on the upper right of each split screen, select a storage device, and then choose a video to play.
