The main components and their functions are:

• Microphone: Used for calls.

• USB media playback port (left): For media playback only; not for charging.

• microSD card slot: For media playback.

• Charging port (right): Charges other devices at 5V/2.4A max.

• < (Previous) button: Press to select the previous song or frequency. Press and hold to decrease volume.

• > (Next) button: Press to select the next song or frequency. Press and hold to increase volume.

• Phone icon button: Press to answer/hang up calls. Press and hold to reject calls. Press to play/pause music.

• Display: Shows the FM frequency.

The FM Transmitter uses FM radio to play calls and music from your phone via Bluetooth on your car stereo. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Plug the transmitter into your car’s cigarette lighter socket or 12-24V power port.

2. Look for “bt” to flash on the transmitter display.

3. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and search for nearby devices.

4. Select the device named CT-BTFM2A when it appears.

5. It usually connects automatically; if prompted for a password, enter 0000.

6. Once paired, the FM frequency will show on the transmitter display.

7. Tune the car radio to an unused FM frequency, e.g., 106.2.

8. On the transmitter, press and hold the phone icon button until the FM frequency flashes. Then, use the previous/next buttons to match the transmitter frequency (e.g., 106.2) with the car radio frequency. Now, audio from your Bluetooth device will be played on your car stereo.

1. Press the phone icon button to answer a call; Hold it for 3 seconds to reject.

2. Press the phone icon button to end a call.

3. Double press the phone icon button to redial the last number. Press again to cancel.

4. Hold the phone icon button during a call to switch audio between the phone and the car stereo.

The USB port on the right side of the device charges at 5V/2.4A.

1. Insert a microSD card or USB flash drive (in the left USB port) with audio files.

2. Files will begin to play automatically.

3. Press the phone icon button to pause; press it again to resume.

4. Use the previous/next buttons to play the previous or next file.

If you are having trouble pairing your device, try the following steps:

• Keep your device close to the transmitter for a stronger connection.

• Check if the transmitter display is flashing “bt”. If not, unplug and plug it back in.

• If CT-BTFM2A does not appear on your phone’s Bluetooth list, refresh and search again. Wait for up to 1 minute for the device to appear.

• Make sure no other device is already connected to the transmitter.

• Disconnect your Bluetooth device from any other connected devices before pairing with the transmitter.

If you are experiencing audio problems, consider the following:

• In areas with many FM stations, some frequencies might be crowded and can clash. Try changing your car stereo’s FM frequency and matching it on the transmitter.

• Make sure the volume is up on the transmitter, car stereo, and your device.
