How should I unpack the printer?

Remove all tapes, cushions, and protective pads from the machine.

Open the front cover.

How do I remove the initial internal packaging and the toner cartridge?

Remove the cushion(A), label and sheet(B) located inside the machine.

Pull the toner cartridge out of the machine.

How do I prepare the toner cartridge for installation?

Remove the label and the protective cap from the toner cartridge.

Shake the toner cartridge from side to side approximately 10 times.

How do I install the toner cartridge?

Insert the prepared toner cartridge into the machine.

Close the front cover.

How do I load paper into the printer?

Open the paper tray.

Load paper into the tray.

Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size.

Close the paper tray.

How do I connect power and turn on the printer?

Plug the power cord into the printer.

Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.

Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.

How do I complete the printer setup using software?

Download HP software to complete printer setup. Scan the QR code or visit 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart App or HP Easy Start, then follow the instructions to connect and set up the printer. Note: Only wireless printers are available for setup via this method.
