To install the batteries in your KOGAN NBKDBLUDMNA Kids Bluetooth Dance Mat, please follow these steps:

• Use the supplied screwdriver to open the battery cover on the rear panel of the control panel.

• Insert x4 1.5V AA non-rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated. Replace and secure the battery cover.

• Press the ‘Power’ button to turn on the dance mat. The system will automatically enter language selection mode.

• Press the ‘Directional’ buttons on the mat to select English, Russian, or German. Use the ‘Volume+’ and ‘Volume’- buttons to adjust the volume.

1. To connect via Bluetooth, press the ‘Bluetooth’ button on the mat to enter pairing mode.

2. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for the device name “LCF-blanket.” Select it to pair. A confirmation tone will sound when the connection is successful.

3. Press the ‘Bluetooth’ button again to exit pairing mode.

• Once connected via Bluetooth, open the music player app on your device (phone) and select a track to play.

• Press the ‘Mode’ button on the mat to choose a level. The dance mat will begin playing the selected track through its speaker.

• Follow the light prompts by stepping on the corresponding ‘Directional’ buttons before they turn off. The display will show your total score.

• Each level has a countdown of 3 minutes. Use your phone to control the music volume. Use the ‘Volume+’ or ‘Volume-‘ buttons on the mat to adjust the volume of system prompts.

The KOGAN NBKDBLUDMNA has five interactive modes. Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through them.

Mode 1: Free Dance

The mat plays music automatically. Step in time with the rhythm. As the player moves, corresponding lights on the mat will illuminate.

Mode 2: Four Button Challenge

This mode uses 4 ‘Directional’ buttons (positions 1, 2, 5, and 6). There are 3 levels, each with a 1-minute countdown. Lights will flash in a pattern. Step on the correct buttons before the lights turn off to score points.

Mode 3: Six Button Challenge

This mode uses all 6 ‘Directional’ buttons (positions 1 to 6). As with Mode 2, players must follow light prompts within the 1-minute countdown. There are 3 levels of increasing difficulty.

Scoring Rules for Modes 2 and 3

• Points are awarded for correctly stepping on all lit buttons before they turn off. No points are given for missed or incorrect steps.

• If you make more than 5 errors, the game ends and you must manually restart.

• If you make 5 or fewer errors, the game automatically proceeds to the next level.

Mode 4: Memory

Lights on the mat will flash in a sequence. Memorise the order and step on the buttons in the same sequence. If successful, the game continues and becomes more challenging. If incorrect, the game ends and resets.

Mode 5: Electric Drum Kit

The mat simulates an electric drum kit, including bass drum, toms, snare, cymbals, and more. Step on the keys to trigger corresponding drum sounds. Lights indicate which keys to press for each rhythm.
