You will need the following items which are not included:

• Phillips head screwdriver

• Antenna cable

• Broadband internet connection

Before you start, spread cushioning flat to lay the TV on to help prevent damage.

a. Attach stands to the base of the TV, ensuring the ‘A’ and ‘B’ markings on the TV and stands match.

b. Insert four 4x18mm screws (two for each stand) and use a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) to tighten them.

a. Open the battery compartment cover on the back side of the remote.

b. Insert two 1.5V AAA size batteries. Make sure to match the polarity markings (+ / -) of the batteries with the diagram inside the compartment.

c. Replace the battery compartment cover.

To prevent the TV from falling over, follow these instructions:

a. Use the supplied TV restraining screws (M6) to fasten the TV restraining brackets to the TV’s rear cabinet.

b. Attach wall restraining brackets (not supplied) to the wall.

c. Attach the TV restraining brackets to the wall restraining brackets securely using ropes (not supplied).

Note: Ensure you install the TV near the wall so that it doesn’t fall backwards.

a. Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) via the ‘ANT’ input port at the back of the TV.

b. Ensure the antenna cable is also connected to a working antenna, either via an antenna wall socket in your home or directly.

Turning TV On

Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet, then press the POWER (⏻) button on the remote control, making sure to aim it at the sensor at the front of the TV. Alternatively, you can press the power button on the lower side of the back panel on the TV.

Turning TV Off

Press the POWER (⏻) button on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down the TV completely, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

Do not leave your set in standby mode for long periods of time. If you will not use the TV for a long time, it is recommended to unplug the set from both the power outlet and aerial.

1. Power (⏻): Press to enter or exit standby mode.

2. Mute: Toggle sound on/off.

3. Number buttons (0-9): Press to select a channel or input passwords.

4. INFO: Displays the current program information.

5. SOURCE: Displays the list of input source channels.

6. HOME: Access the home page.

7. MENU: Open the quick menu.

8. OK: Select the current item, confirm selection, or open quick button in TV mode.

9. Directional buttons (▲/▼/◄/►): For navigating menus and settings.

10. BACK: Go to the previous menu.

11. EXIT: Quit the current interface.

12. NETFLIX: Open the Netflix app homepage.

13. prime video: Open the Prime Video app homepage.

14. YouTube: Open the YouTube app homepage.

15. Google Play: Open the Google Play app homepage.

16. TEXT: For Teletext options (Not available in Australia).

17. + VOL –: Adjust the volume up or down.

18. P (▲/▼): Scroll through channels.

19. Google Assistant (●: ): Launch the built-in virtual assistant for voice commands.

20. GUIDE: Opens the Electronic Program Guide in DTV mode.

21. Media control buttons (◄◄ / ►► / ► / II): Includes play, pause, backward, and forward for use in Media mode.

22. SUBTITLE: Toggle subtitles on/off.

23. AD: Shortcut to the accessibility menu.

24. Colour buttons (R/G/Y/B): For navigational use within apps.

When turning the TV on for the first time, use the ▲/▼ and OK buttons to navigate the following options:

Bluetooth: Your Android TV remote has Bluetooth capabilities. Follow the onscreen prompts to pair the remote with the TV. This allows you to use voice commands with your remote via the Google Assistant button.

Language: Select your menu language.

Quickly set up with Android phone: If you have an Android smartphone, you can easily transfer your phone’s Wi-Fi network and Google account to your TV. If not, select ‘Skip’.

Select Wi-Fi network: Your TV will automatically scan for wireless networks nearby. Ensure the TV is within range of your wireless modem or router and have your password handy. Follow the prompts to connect. If you prefer to use an Ethernet cable, insert the cable (not supplied) into the ‘LAN’ input port on the back of the TV.

Quickly Account sign-in: Linking your Google Account allows you to install new apps from the Play store and receive recommendations from Google.

Terms of Service: This page allows you to read and accept the Google Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Google Play Terms of Service.

Location: Grant permission for your Android TV to detect your location. You can adjust this at any time from Settings.

Help improve Android: Grant permission for your TV to detect your location to automatically send diagnostic information to Google.

Following these options, the Auto Tuning screen will appear. Ensure an antenna cable is connected to the ‘ANT’ port. The auto tuning function will search for and save all available free-to-air TV channels. After confirming your settings (the default will be set for Australia), the process will begin. When setup is complete, you will be able to access the Home page.

1. Google Assistant: Click to launch the built-in virtual assistant for voice commands.

2. Text search: Enter text manually to search TV apps.

3. System notifications: This option will only appear when notifications are present.

4. Source: Access free-to-air channels (‘DTV’) or other input source channels.

5. Internet connection: Displays as a Wi-Fi or LAN icon. Select for connectivity options.

6. Settings: Access the settings menu.

7. Clock: Time and date settings can be adjusted in the global settings.

8. Apps: Access the App Centre to display all installed apps. Free-to-air channels can be accessed under the ‘Live TV’ option.

9. Favourites list: A customisable list of apps available at a single click.

10. Play Next: Displays the program you are watching or have queued to play next. Add to this list by long pressing the OK button, then selecting “Add to play next”.

11. Pinned channels: Shows the program list of pinned channels. The order can be adjusted by pressing from the channel icon and selecting the “<>” icon.

12. Customise channels: Add or remove pinned channels from the home page.

Quick Menu

Frequently-used options like Picture Mode, Sound Mode, and Sleep Timer can be accessed by pressing the MENU button on your remote. Use the ▲/▼ buttons to navigate the submenus.

TV Setting

To access the full TV setting menu, select “More” from the “Quick Menu”. Here you will find all adjustable options for the Android TV’s interface, connectivity, and apps, including:

• Picture

• Sound

• TV

• Setup

• Parental

• Settings

Open the App Centre by selecting ‘Apps’ on the home screen to view all installed apps, or use the directional buttons on your remote to pick an app from your Favourites List.

Press the OK button to launch a selected app. For Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Google Play, you can also launch the apps directly using the dedicated hotkeys on the remote control.

The following apps come pre-installed, and you can download more from the Google Play Store:

• Netflix: Sign into your account to browse content, manage your Instant Queue, and review recommendations.

• Prime Video: Buy or rent titles or join Amazon Prime for unlimited access to movies, TV shows, and Prime Originals.

• YouTube: Watch content from your favourite channels on the big screen.

• Stan: Access Australia’s streaming service for TV and movie entertainment.

• 9Now: Live stream and watch on-demand content from Nine’s TV channels (Channel 9, 9Go!, 9Gem, 9Life).

• Google Play Movies & TV: Buy or rent the newest movies and shows.

• Google Play Store: Download more apps. You can check remaining storage space in the global settings menu, within ‘Device Preferences’ > ‘Storage’ submenus.

• Try a different channel.

• Adjust the antenna.

• Check all connections.

• Try another channel.

• Check the antenna connection.

• Check the volume settings on any external speakers connected to your television.

• Adjust the TV volume accordingly.

• Check another channel or input.

• Check that MUTE hasn’t been turned on.

• Make sure the program itself is broadcast in colour.

• Select the picture menu, then adjust the related submenus.

• Check all connections.

• Check the direction, location, and connections to your antenna.

• Issues may be caused by the use of an indoor antenna (poor signal).

• Replace the remote control batteries.

• Check the battery terminals.

• If the remote is out of range, move closer to the TV.

• Remove any obstructions between the remote and the IR sensor of the TV.

• Make sure the power cord to your TV is plugged in and turned on.

• Adjust the horizontal and vertical position.

• Test the device with a different HDMI cable.

• Plug the device into another HDMI port.

• Try a different device connected to the same cable and port.

• Perform a factory reset on your TV.
