How do I prepare the IQ4 Hub for wall mounting?
With a small phillips screwdriver, undo the locking screw from the back of the panel and remove the SmartMount backplate.
How do I mount the backplate to the wall?
1. Mount the backplate to the wall using flat head screws* and appropriate wall anchors if needed, ensuring it is level.
2. A screw is required in break-away wall tamper for UL 2610 and EN Grade 2 installations.
3. Connect the power supply to the barrel jack on the back of the panel.
How do I attach the IQ4 Hub panel to the mounted backplate?
1. Latch the top of the IQ4 Hub onto the SmartMount backplate.
2. Swing the panel down towards the backplate and press firmly against the wall.
3. With a small phillips screwdriver, screw in the locking screw from the bottom of the panel to secure it to the wall.
How do I connect the power supply?
Connect power supply. WARNING! Use 7vDC Power Supply ONLY.
How do I power on the IQ4 Hub?
Press and hold the power button on the right side of the panel for 3 seconds to power up.
What happens after the panel is powered on for the first time?
Once the panel powers up the on-screen wizard will automatically appear. Follow the prompts to complete your installation.
How do I manually launch the Setup Wizard?
1. Tap the time display to access the settings tray.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Advanced (default installer password is 1111).
4. Tap Setup Wizard (Launch Wizard).
