How do I operate the GOOLOO GP200 and understand its LCD Display?
LCD Display Description
1. Power display: Press the switch button. When the LCD screen displays “BATTERY”, it also shows the battery’s power. XX% indicates that the battery has XX% power. A flashing display of XX% along with the words “LOW BATTERY” and “PLEASE RECHARGE” indicates that the power is low and needs to be recharged.
2. Charging product: Power supply connected to home or car charger to charge the GOOLOO GP200. “CHARGING” with the indicator light on shows that it is in its normal charging state.
3. LED lighting display: Press the switch button for 3 seconds to turn on/off and switch the three light modes: Flash light, Strobe light, and SOS Signal flash.
4. Check output specifications: The product has three output specifications: Quick Charge (QC3.0), 5V/2.4A, and 12V/10A. Each of them has a corresponding display. You can choose the required output to connect the cable and press the power switch.
5. Car boost display: When the GOOLOO GP200 is connected with a battery clamp, connect the red clamp to “+” and the black clamp to “-“.
Operation Guidance Display Information:
If it displays “READY”, it means the jump starter is ready to start the car engine. The boost button can be pressed to start the engine.
If it displays “SHORT-CIRCUIT IN JUMPING PORT”, it indicates the short circuit of the device, which should be forbidden. The boost operation, unless the battery is low, can be done when connecting the two clamps.
If it displays “WARING CLAMPS REVERSED”, it means the battery clamps are reversed. Check and reverse the positive/negative of the battery.
If it displays “BATTERY LOW RECHARGE”, it indicates that the power of the device is too low to boost the engine and should be used after being recharged.
If it displays “JUMP START READY”, it indicates everything is correct and the boost operation can be started.
If it displays “PRESS BOOST BUTTON”, press the BOOST button to complete the boost operation within 30 seconds.
How do I charge the GOOLOO GP200?
How to Charge At Home:
1. Plug the home adapter into a general socket.
2. Connect the other end of the home adapter to the 15V/1A input port.
How to Charge By Car:
1. Plug the car adaptor into the socket of the cigarette lighter.
2. Connect the other end of the car adaptor to the 15V/1A input port.
How do I jump start a car with the GOOLOO GP200?
1. Make sure it is over 60% charged. If you have not used it for more than two months, you should charge it first.
2. Insert the plug of the smart cable completely into the jump starter. If the red and green light indicators on the battery cable are flashing alternately, you are safe to move on to the next step.
3. Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the car battery and connect the black clamp to the negative terminal (-) of the car battery.
4. Start the car.
5. Once the car is started, remove the clamp cable from the jump starter within 30 seconds and remove the clamps from your car battery.
What are the safety warnings and guidelines for using the GOOLOO GP200?
1. Please read this instruction manual carefully before using this unit.
2. Jump for 12V vehicles only, it would be a hazard if for other jumping. It is forbidden to be used for other machines such as aircraft, ships, and so on.
3. Do not use this unit to start a car while it’s charging.
4. Do not use this unit if any cable clamp or cord is damaged.
5. Do not use in place of a vehicle battery.
6. Do not use as a battery charger.
7. Do not leave the unit on the car battery after cranking the car successfully.
8. Use the jumper cable provided with this unit only.
9. Make sure the blue plug of the jump cable is plugged fully into the jumping socket; otherwise, the blue plug would be melted.
10. Make sure all the battery connections are clean before jump starting, and make sure the battery clamps are well connected. If the battery terminals on the vehicle are dirty or corroded, the power of the unit will be lessened.
11. Do not jump start more than 3 times in a row. It could damage the unit by overheating. Give two minutes between attempts. The jump starter can become overheated and detach as a safety measure.
12. Remove the product from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds after jump starting the engine, or it could lead to damage.
13. Do not connect the two clamps together.
14. Only jump start when 3 to 4 indicator lights are illuminated.
15. Do not use by young or infirm persons without supervision.
16. Do not use as a toy.
17. Do not allow the product to become wet.
18. Do not immerse the product in water.
19. Do not operate the product in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
20. Do not modify or disassemble the unit. Only a repair technician may repair this unit.
21. Do not expose product to extreme heat or fire.
22. Make sure someone should be within range of your voice or close enough to come to your aid when working with batteries.
23. Remove personal metal items like rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. when using the unit.
24. Do not drop the unit. If the unit has received a sharp blow or is damaged in any other way, check it by a qualified battery technician.
25. Charge only using the charger provided with this unit.
26. Do not use this unit to jump start a vehicle while charging the internal battery.
27. If this unit is leaking fluid, dispose of it at the proper recycle facility immediately.
28. Under extreme conditions, the battery may leak. If a liquid is leaking from the unit, do not handle it with bare hands. In case of skin contact wash with soap and water immediately. If liquid gets in contact with eyes, rinse eyes with cold running water for at least 10 minutes and get medical treatment immediately.
29. The product contains a lithium battery. At the end of the product life, dispose of the unit according to local regulation.
