Before mounting the EUFY POE CAM E40 T8P00, make sure your NVR is powered on and ready to connect to the camera.

The following items are included for installation:

You will need the following tools and devices for installation:

• Phillips Screwdriver

• Power Drill (with 13/16″ (20.6 mm) & 1/4″ (6.3 mm) bits)

• Hammer

• Ladder

The main components of the camera are:

The recommended location for mounting the EUFY POE CAM E40 T8P00 has the following characteristics:

• Height of 2 m to 3 m (7 to 10 ft)

• 12 m (39 ft) Field of View

• On the Ceiling or on a Wall

Follow these steps to drill the cable hole:

1. Determine the direction you want the cable to run.

2. Use the positioning sticker to mark the location for the cable hole.

3. Use a 13/16″ (20.6 mm) drill bit to drill the cable hole.

Using the positioning sticker as a guide, use a 1/4″ (6.3 mm) drill bit to drill the screw holes.

Insert the provided anchors into the drilled screw holes. If you are mounting the camera on a wooden wall, you can skip this step.

Align the mounting bracket of the camera with the drilled holes and use the provided screws to secure the EUFY POE CAM E40 T8P00 to the wall or ceiling.

1. Connect the camera with the Ethernet cable.

2. Ensure the other end of the Ethernet cable is connected to the NVR.

If the cable connector is exposed outside, follow these steps:

1. Route the cable through the cable notch on the mounting bracket.

2. Ensure the connector is positioned downward to prevent water intrusion.

3. Install the waterproof cover and connect the camera with the Ethernet cable.

4. Ensure the Ethernet cable is connected to the NVR.

Follow these steps to make the cable connection waterproof:

1. Ensure component A is pre-installed on the PoE connector of the camera.

2. Route the Ethernet cable through components B, C, and D in that specific order.

3. Plug the Ethernet cable into the camera’s PoE connector until it clicks.

4. Attach component D to the camera’s PoE connector and twist to lock it in place.

5. Insert component C into D, and then rotate B to secure it tightly to D.

Note: The shape of the waterproof cover and the connector may vary slightly.

1. Remove the protective film from the camera lens.

2. Adjust the knob or screws to get an optimal viewing angle.

3. Check the live stream in the app to confirm the field of view.

• The recommended temperature range for the T8P00 and its accessories is -30°C to 50°C.

• Unless specifically indicated that it is safe to do so in the user guide or instruction manual, do not use the devices in an environment that exceeds the recommended low or high temperature.
