Before installing your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 massage bathtub, please follow these preparation and inspection steps:

Preparation before installation:

• Make sure the place you install the bathtub is strong enough to bear the total weight of the bathtub, maximum water volume, and the user.

Inspection before installation:

• Check whether all parts are complete. If you have any questions, please provide feedback promptly.

• After opening the box, please immediately dispose of unneeded packaging to prevent personal injury from wooden frames, nails, cardboard, or sealing straps.

• Do not allow children to play with the packing material to avoid personal injury.

• Parts containing live components, except those supplied with safety extra-low voltage not exceeding 12V, must be inaccessible to a person in the bath.

• Earthed appliances must be permanently connected to fixed wiring.

• Parts incorporating electrical components, except remote control devices, must be located or fixed so that they cannot fall into the bath.

• Do not use any power source except the specified power, as this may cause fire or electric shock.

• An electrical leakage protection switch should be installed outside the bathroom to prevent fire or electric shock.

• Do not use a broken power supply, power plug, or a loose socket, as this may cause fire or electric shock.

• Do not modify the power supply cord, use it with an extension cord, or combine it with other equipment using multiple plugs. This could lead to shocks, overheating, or fire.

• Please make sure the power plug has waterproof protection with silicon to prevent fire or electric shock from water infiltration.

• Before the installation is finished, please use cardboard to protect the bathtub from damage.

• Do not stand on the bathtub while working. This could cause one to slip and fall or otherwise damage the product.

• Install securely, in accordance with the Installation Manual. Improper installation can lead to water leaks that damage or ruin household property.

• After finishing the installation, the product should undergo a full trial operation to check if the installation is proper.

To adjust the leveling feet on your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02, please use a wrench or a level ruler to level the bathtub. Follow these steps:

1. Adjust the height of the leveling feet.

2. Adjust the screw nut to the level position.

Note: If the bathtub is not level, it may lead to increased noise, remaining water in the hoses or drainage, and bathtub shaking.

Your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 massage bathtub is equipped with stainless steel cold and hot water hoses (connector Ø 1/2″). To connect the water supply:

1. Connect the cold and hot water hoses from the bathtub to the bathroom’s cold and hot water hoses accordingly. The red hose is for hot water and the blue hose is for cold water.

2. Before connecting the bathtub water inlet pipe, first open the water pipe for a period of time to flush it out.

3. Then, put the filter screen in place to ensure that debris will not enter the bathtub pipe. This will effectively extend the life of the fitting.

To connect the electricity for your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02:

1. The user needs to purchase two separate 110/120V 15amp plugs.

2. Install the proper dedicated plug with a ground electrode to the power line.

3. Then insert the plug firmly into the outlets.

Note:

• This product uses universal home power.

• External circuitry must be equipped with a high-sensitivity and fast-type leakage protection switch (Induced current rating below 15MA; trip time should be less than 0.1 second; rated current is above 30A).

• The product should be installed alongside the ground and electric leakage switches by a licensed electrician.

Grounding Instructions:

Make sure the ground is connected. One side of the ground should be connected to the ground terminal of the motor and the stainless steel frame; the other side should be connected to the ground wires of the plug. The bathtub must be connected to the ground, and the power outlet must be well-sealed. Ensure the surface of each wire is intact.

Please observe the following safety precautions when using the EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02:

• Use this unit only for its intended use as described in the manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• The water in a whirlpool should never exceed 104°F (40°C). Water temperatures between 100°F (38°C) and 104°F (40°C) are considered safe for a healthy adult. Use time should be limited to approximately 30 minutes, followed by a shower to cool down. Lower water temperatures are recommended for extended use (exceeding 10-15 minutes) and are definitely recommended for younger children.

• If you become nauseous, dizzy, or develop a headache, get out at once and cool down. Get medical attention if symptoms persist. Check with a physician before using the whirlpool again.

• Persons using medication should consult a physician before using a whirlpool since medication may induce drowsiness while other medication may affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.

• The thermostatic mixer can maintain the temperature of the water input; please use it carefully according to the operating instruction to avoid scalding or catching a cold.

• Do not operate this unit without the suction cover over the suction fitting. This suction cover is a safety device that reduces the potential hazard of hair or body entrapment. Keep hair and body away from the suction cover when the pump is running.

• Never drop or insert any object into any opening within the whirlpool.

• Never operate electrically connected devices in or near the bath. No electric appliances should be within 5 feet/1.5 meters of this bathtub (such as hair dryers, lamps, telephones, radios, televisions, and so on).

Here are the operating instructions for the control panel on your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 massage bathtub:

1. ON/OFF: Short-press the plug symbol to switch on the power. The LCD will light up and the system will enter standby mode. You can proceed with turning on and operating various functions according to the requirement of users. The system can be directly switched off by pressing the plug symbol again.

2. Surfing Function: Press the surf symbol to start the pump. Press the surf symbol again to stop the function. The water pump is protected by a water level switch. If the water level is too low, the water pump cannot start. The pump will be turned off automatically every 60 minutes.

3. Bubble Function: Press the bubble symbol to start the blower. Press the bubble symbol again to stop the function. The blower will be turned off automatically every 60 minutes.

4. LED Light: Press the light symbol. The color light is on and the color will be fixed. Press again to change the color. Long-press the symbol to enter the colorful light self-changing mode. Press the symbol again to turn off the light.

5. Heating Function: Press the heating symbol. The heating function will be started. Press the symbol again to stop the function. The heater only works when the water pump is on.

6. Lock/Unlock: After 3 minutes of inactivity on the screen, the panel will be locked. A long press for 3 seconds on the upper left corner will unlock the panel, which can be operated with your finger.

Follow these steps to install the shower head on your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02:

1. Unscrew the hose connector from the shower holder.

2. Insert the rubber gasket into the hose connector.

3. Finally, screw the shower head and the hose connector securely.

You can adjust the water jets on the EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 as follows:

• Adjusting Jet Angle: Adjusting the head of the water jets up, down, left, or right will adjust the angle of water flow.

• Adjusting Water Flow Rate: Rotating the cover of the massage jets clockwise or counter-clockwise will strengthen or weaken the water column strength. This acts as a hydro massage flow rate control switch. Note that small water jets do not have this function.

To drain your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 bathtub using the manual drainage:

• Rotate the cover clockwise to close the drain valve.

• Rotate the cover anticlockwise to open the drain.

• When the water level is over the overflow line, the excess water will be drained by the overflow mechanism.

Regular maintenance will keep your EMPAVA SPA EMPV-71PRO02 clean and working at its best. Below is the recommended cleaning procedure:

1. The normal maintenance system drainage must be done after using it.

2. If the product is not in use for a long time, please drain it.

3. Run the tub with cold water and the jets function for 15 minutes.

4. Drain the tub again.

5. Fill the tub with hot water to 3 cm (0.8-1.2 inch) above the jets. Add 2-3 teaspoons of low foaming detergent, such as dishwashing machine detergent.

6. Turn on the jets and let them run for 15 minutes.

7. Drain the tub again.

8. Clean the “suction cover” by removing any hair or lint.

To Clean the Whirlpool Suction Cover/Filter:

1. Rotate the suction cover to take it down.

2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the center cover and mooring.

3. Clear the waste from inside the parts.

Important Safety Notice: Please check and clean the conditioner and the small suction cover of the water pump regularly to prevent the danger of the suction cover being blocked. Do not operate this whirlpool system for bathing or individually without the suction cover being installed.

General Cleaning and Care:

• Do not use harsh chemicals. Please use a mild detergent.

• Avoid contact with corrosive substances. Do not strike or cut the bathtub with hard objects. Avoid acid, acetone, or other chemical solvents.

• If the bathtub will experience surface damage, you can use fine-grain sandpaper dipped in water to polish it and then use a polishing agent.

• When cleaning, use a soft cloth and a polishing agent.

• When not in use, please keep the bathtub well-ventilated and dry.

The shower installation includes a faucet with several functions:

• A. Hot water switch (Marked with letter H): Controls the hot water supply.

• B. Functional changeover valves: Switches between the Showerhead, Waterfall, and Body jets.

• C. Water inlet switch (Marked with letter C): Controls the main water inlet.
