When you open the carton for your ELO TOUCH ET2002L, you should find the following items:

The stand can be converted between a low profile “hostess” position and a high profile “upright” position. The monitor typically ships in the low profile position.

• To convert to the high profile “upright” position, secure the thumbscrews into the high or “H” screw-holes in the bottom of the base.

• To convert to the low profile “hostess” position, secure the thumbscrews into the low or “L” screw-holes in the bottom of the base.

1. Connect either the HDMI or Mini-VGA video cable between the monitor’s corresponding input connector and your video source. Tighten the video cable’s screws for the best performance.

2. Connect the USB touch cable between the monitor’s USB connector and your PC’s USB port.

3. Connect the audio cable between the monitor’s Audio In jack and your audio source.

4. Select the correct power clip for your region and attach it to the power adapter. Connect the power adapter’s input to a power source and the DC output connector to the monitor’s input power jack.

5. The touchmonitor ships in an OFF state. Press the power button to turn it on.

No additional drivers are required for your projected-capacitive touchmonitor with Windows 7 and 8 operating systems, as it uses Windows HID drivers. If the monitor is used with a Windows XP operating system, you will need to install a specific Windows XP touch driver.

For the ELO TOUCH ET2002L touchmonitor, a four-hole 75x75mm and 100x100mm mounting pattern for M4 screws is provided on the rear of the monitor. You must remove the stand using a Phillips screwdriver to access this mounting interface. The VESA FDMI-compliant coding is VESA MIS-B, 75, C and VESA MIS-B, 100, C.

For the ELO TOUCH ET2002L touchmonitor, threaded through-holes are provided on the bottom of the stand base for mounting or securing the unit to a surface.

To turn the touchmonitor on or off, press the power button once. The Power Status LED on the bottom of the touchmonitor indicates the current status:

The system consumes low power in SLEEP and OFF modes. Touching the screen will bring the attached PC out of SLEEP mode.

No, calibration is not required for the projected capacitive touch technology on the ELO TOUCH ET2002L.

For the best performance, the image displayed on your ELO TOUCH ET2002L will look best when your computer’s output resolution matches the monitor’s native resolution. The native resolution for the ELO TOUCH ET2002L FHD is 1920 x 1080. If your computer outputs a non-native resolution, the monitor will scale the video to fit, which may result in a loss of fidelity, especially noticeable with small text.

For analog VGA video, variations in video graphic card outputs may require user adjustments through the On-Screen Display (OSD) to optimize the image quality.

There are four OSD buttons on the bottom of the monitor. Their functionality is as follows:

The OSD buttons control an on-screen graphical user interface that allows for intuitive adjustment of the following display parameters:

OSD Locking: Press and hold the “Menu” and ◄ buttons for two seconds to enable or disable the OSD Locking feature. When enabled, pressing any of the Menu, Up, Down, or Select keys will have no effect.

Power Locking: Press and hold the “Menu” and ► buttons for two seconds to enable or disable the Power Locking feature. When enabled, pressing the power switch will have no effect.

If you are experiencing trouble with your touchmonitor, refer to the following troubleshooting suggestions:

NOTE: To keep the product operating at an optimum level please limit the product usage cycle to 18 hours for every 24 hours.

Follow these tips to keep your touchmonitor functioning at an optimal level:

• Disconnect the AC power cable before cleaning.

• To clean the display unit cabinet, use a clean cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent.

• It is important that your unit remains dry. Do not get liquids on or inside the unit. If liquid does get inside, have a qualified service technician check it before you power it on again.

• Do not wipe the screen with a cloth or sponge that could scratch the surface.

• To clean the touchscreen, use window or glass cleaner applied to a clean cloth or sponge. Never apply the cleaner directly to the touchscreen. Do not use alcohol (methyl, ethyl or isopropyl), thinner, benzene, or other abrasive cleaners.

This product should not be disposed of with household waste. It should be deposited at a facility that enables recovery and recycling.

If this equipment appears to cause interference, first verify it as an emission source by turning the equipment off and on. If you determine that this equipment is causing the interference, try to correct it by using one or more of the following measures:

i) Move the digital device away from the affected receiver.

ii) Reposition (turn) the digital device with respect to the affected receiver.

iii) Reorient the affected receiver’s antenna.

iv) Plug the digital device into a different AC outlet so the digital device and the receiver are on different branch circuits.

v) Disconnect and remove any I/O cables that the digital device does not use (Unterminated I/O cables are a potential source of high RF emission levels).

vi) Plug the digital device into only a grounded outlet receptacle. Do not use AC adapter plugs.
