If the electrical cord of the ELECTROLUX EDS6051 is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.

To clean the lint filter on the ELECTROLUX EDS6051, follow these steps:

Step 2. Press the two pads together to release the lint filter from its pocket.

Permanent press and synthetics should be removed as soon as the dryer stops to reduce wrinkles.

To operate the ELECTROLUX EDS6051, use the following control panel features:

On/Off Button: Switches the dryer on or off.

Start/Pause Button: Starts or pauses the drying cycle.

Delay Button: Sets the dryer to start after 3, 6, or 9 hours.

Option Button: Selects Crease Free (prevents wrinkling) or Iron Aid (uses moisture and warm air to reduce wrinkles on clean, dry clothes; maximum 1 kg load).

Temperature Button: Selects Normal, Delicate, or Airing settings.

Program Button: Selects desired programs (Extra Dry, Normal Dry, Iron Dry, or timer programs).

To activate the child lock on the ELECTROLUX EDS6051, press and hold the Program and Temperature buttons together until a beep is heard and the child lock LED illuminates for approximately 2 seconds. To deactivate, repeat this process until a beep is heard and the LED goes off.

Step 1. Load the ELECTROLUX EDS6051 loosely so it is no more than two-thirds full.

Step 2. Ensure the door safety switch button is fully pressed in by closing the door properly.

Step 3. Press the On/Off button.

Step 4. Select your preferred mode (Sensor Program or Timer Program).

Step 5. If using the Sensor Program, press the Program button to select the drying level and the Temperature button to select the heat setting.

Step 6. If using the Timer Program, press the Program button to select the time and the Temperature button to select the heat setting.

Step 7. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.

To clean the water inlet filters on the ELECTROLUX EDS6051, follow these steps:

Step 1. Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply.

Step 2. Close the water tap.

Step 3. Remove the water inlet hose from the water tap.

Step 4. Remove the inlet hose from behind the appliance.

Step 5. Clean the filter in the inlet hose with a stiff brush.

Step 6. Clean the filter in the valve with a stiff brush or a towel.

Step 7. Re-install the inlet hose and ensure couplings are tight.

Step 8. Open the water tap.

If the ELECTROLUX EDS6051 will not start, check the following:

Ensure the plug is firmly in the socket and the power is turned on.

Check if a fuse has blown by testing the power point with another appliance.

Ensure the door is closed and the door safety switch button is fully pressed in.

If clothes are still wet after a cycle in the ELECTROLUX EDS6051, consider the following:

The selected drying time may have been insufficient; select a longer time setting.

Longer time may be required if the room temperature is 10 degrees Celsius or less.

Check if the lint filter is blocked.

Ensure you did not use wet clothes with the Iron Aid option, as it is for reducing wrinkles on dry laundry only.
