If the burner still fails to ignite, turn off the faucet and wait for 10-20 seconds, and repeat the above procedures.
How do I adjust the temperature memory on the ECCOTEMP 6.8GB-ILP?
This model can memorize and save the last set temperature on the remote control with “priority”. If no remote control has “priority”, the set temperature of the water heater will be the same as the set temperature of the remote control which starts the water heater.
• The remote control is factory preset to 110°F.
• To turn the remote control ON or OFF, press the POWER button for more than 3 seconds.
• To adjust the temperature to a required setting, in “priority” mode, press the UP or DOWN temperature button. Press and hold UP or DOWN to raise or lower the temperature continuously.
• When the water heater is in use, the set temperature can increase to 122°F, but there is no limit to temperature decrease. To increase the temperature more than 122°F, the water will need to be shut off first.

Does the ECCOTEMP 6.8GB-ILP have anti-freezing protection?
Water heaters with Anti-Freezers have an automatic heating device and will help to avoid freeze damage, but the power must be kept on. Freezing will occur with no power. In very cold areas and when the temperature is under 32°F, or in event of an ice storm, freezing will occur as the heating power limit is exceeded. The anti-freezing device works for the water heater only, and not for the inlet and outlet water pipes.
