The MyDyson™ app is an essential part of your experience. To get started:

1. Download the MyDyson™ app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Open the app.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account.

The app allows you to control your DYSON ZONE headphones, access live reports on air quality and noise, and check the status of your battery and filter life.

To assemble and adjust your DYSON ZONE headphones, follow these steps:

1. Insert your filters:

– Twist off both ear cup covers by turning them anti-clockwise.

– Hold the new filters by their plastic edges and secure them into the ear cups.

– Replace the covers and twist them clockwise to lock them into position.

2. Adjust your headphones:

– Put the headphones on.

– Adjust the headband by sliding both sides until you find a comfortable fit.

To attach the visor:

1. Remove any packaging from the visor and fully extend the visor arms.

2. With the visor positioned below your mouth, attach it to each ear cup using the magnetic connectors.

3. Push the visor up to cover your nose and mouth.

To adjust the visor:

Adjust the visor until it is in a comfortable position, close to but not touching your face. The airflow will start automatically once correctly positioned.

1. Turn on your headphones:

Press and hold the Airflow button on your left ear cup to turn the power on. The LED light will turn white.

2. Enter pairing mode:

Press and hold the airflow button until the LED light starts to pulse blue. Your MyDyson™ app will alert you when pairing is complete.

3. Connect audio using Bluetooth®:

Open the Bluetooth® settings on your mobile device. Ensure Bluetooth® is turned on and select your DYSON ZONE headphones from the list. When connected, return to the MyDyson™ app.

To turn off: Hold down the airflow button on the left ear cup for 5 seconds when you are not using them.

To reset: Holding the airflow button down for a further 5-10 seconds will reset your headphones.

Charge your headphones using the provided USB-C cable. Your headphones need more than 20% charge to run air purification. To achieve the best battery runtime, allow at least 5 hours of initial use.

The LED behavior indicates the battery status:

• Battery is more than 20% charged: The LED will turn green.

• Battery is less than 20% charged: The LED will turn a solid amber for five seconds.

• Charging: The LED will pulse amber. When fully charged, the LED will turn green and then fade to off.

• Insufficient charge for purification: The LED will flash amber for five seconds.

Your DYSON ZONE headphones can adjust the airflow automatically based on your activity level. You can also control it manually using the MyDyson™ app or the button on the back of the left ear cup to cycle through modes.

The airflow modes are:

• AUTO: Airflow adapts to your activity level.

• 1 Rest: Lowest airflow setting, which extends battery life.

• 2 Light: Increased airflow setting.

• 3 Moderate: Highest available airflow setting.

To extend battery life, use low airflow speeds.

The DYSON ZONE headphones feature several modes to control background noise:

• Isolation mode: This is the default setting and provides the maximum level of ANC, reducing surrounding and background noise.

• Transparency mode: Double tap either ear cup to activate this mode. Surrounding sounds are amplified.

• Conversation mode: Flip the visor down. This pauses airflow, audio, and noise cancelling. Voices are amplified so you can hear with your headphones on.

The Audio joystick on the back of the right ear cup controls your audio, calls, and voice assistant. Below is a list of its functions.

The LEDs on your DYSON ZONE headphones provide information about power, battery, connectivity, and alerts.

Connect the in-flight cable to the 2-pin adaptor, and then plug it into the plane’s entertainment system audio port. Please be aware that the audio controls on your DYSON ZONE headphones will not function while the in-flight adaptor is in use. The adaptor will only charge your headphones when the USB-C cable is also being used.

Warning: The in-flight 2-pin adaptor is for connection to an audio outlet only. Plugging it into a mains socket outlet may result in a fire or pose a risk of an electric shock.

The MyDyson™ app and your headphones will alert you when the filters need changing. The filters are not washable.

1. Remove the cover: Twist the covers on the ear cups anti-clockwise until they release.

2. Remove the filters: Lift out the filters carefully. Avoid dropping dust into the ear cups. Dispose of the old filters.

3. Insert new filters: Remove the new filters from their packaging and place them in the ear cups.

4. Replace the covers: Put the covers back on and twist them clockwise to lock them into position.

5. Reset filter life: After changing the filters, it is important to reset the filter life in the MyDyson™ app.

Regular cleaning is important to maintain performance. Always allow parts to dry completely before use.

Quick Clean

• Ear covers, Ear cushions, and Visor: Wipe away dust or debris with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.

Regular Cleaning (Visor)

1. Remove the visor: Push the visor down and gently pull it away from the ear cups.

2. Disassemble: Pinch the outer edges of the mesh until it pops out of the visor. Then, slide the side extensions out and unclip them from the visor.

3. Wash visor: Wash the visor and mesh with warm water and dish soap. Use the Dyson visor cleaning brush to reach all areas. Rinse all parts thoroughly.

4. Dry visor: Leave your visor to dry in a well-ventilated, warm place.

Ensure all parts of your visor are completely dry before reassembling.

1. Reassemble visor: Slide the side extensions in until they click into position. Then, clip in the inner mesh.

2. Reattach the visor: Connect the reassembled visor to your headphones using the magnetic connectors on the ear cups.
