If you smell gas, follow these safety procedures immediately:

• Do not use naked flames and do not smoke.

• Do not use any electrical buttons (e.g., lamp button or doorbell).

• Do not use a landline or mobile phone inside the house.

• Open all doors and windows to ventilate the area.

• Turn off the gas supply at the bottle.

• Close all valves on gas products and gas meters.

• Check if all pipes and connections are leaking. If you still smell gas, leave the house.

• Warn your neighbors.

• From a safe location outside the house, call the fire department.

• Call the authorized service and your gas distribution company.

• Do not re-enter the house until it has been declared safe by authorized persons.

A burn-back is an event where the flame burns back towards the gas jet inside the burner tube or chamber. If this occurs:

1. Immediately turn the gas supply off at the control valve on the panel.

2. After ensuring the flame is completely extinguished, wait for one minute.

3. Re-light the appliance in the normal manner.

4. If the burn-back happens again, close the control valve and call a service technician. Do not use the appliance until a service technician has declared it safe.

Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in a fire. NEVER attempt to extinguish a grease fire with water. Instead, switch off the appliance immediately and then cover the flame with a lid or a fire blanket to smother it.

To use your product in an ecological and energy-efficient way, follow these suggestions:

• Defrost frozen food before cooking.

• When using the oven, choose dark or enamelled containers as they transmit heat better.

• For prolonged cooking, you can turn off the oven 5 to 10 minutes before the end time to use the residual heat, saving up to 20% on electricity.

• If preheating is required, always do so. Avoid opening the oven door frequently during cooking.

• Try to cook more than one dish at a time. You can place two cooking containers on the wire shelf simultaneously.

• If you cook meals back-to-back, the oven retains its heat, which saves energy.

• For the hob, use pots and pans with a suitable size and a lid. Always choose the correct pot size for your meals.

• Keep the oven cooking areas and pot bases clean, as dirt reduces heat transfer.

Before you start using your product, it is recommended to perform an initial cleaning:

1. Remove all packaging materials.

2. Remove all accessories from the oven.

3. Turn the gas oven on to its highest operating level for 30 minutes, then turn it off. This will burn off any residues and layers left from the production process.

4. Wait for the oven to cool down completely.

5. Wipe the surfaces of the product with a wet cloth or sponge and dry with a cloth.

Oven Control Knob: Control your oven with this button. In the ‘Off’ position (top), no gas is supplied. After igniting the oven, adjust the gas levels from 1 to 8 or select the Grill function.

Hob Control Knobs: Each knob operates a specific burner. The ‘Off’ position is at the top. After igniting, turn the knob to set your desired cooking power, indicated by flame symbols.

Lamp/Rotisserie Button: Press to turn the oven lamp and rotisserie function on or off.

Fan Button: Press to turn the oven fan on or off for more even heat distribution.

The approximate temperatures corresponding to the gas levels on the oven control button are as follows:

The timer is for warning purposes and does not turn the oven off.

1. Turn the timer button clockwise to set the desired time for the alert.

2. The timer will count down and give an audible warning when the time has expired. The oven will not be turned off. You must manually turn the oven control button to the ‘Off’ position to stop cooking.

For optimal performance, use pans with the following diameters:

Do not use pots or pans that exceed the stated dimensions.

1. Press down on the desired burner knob.

2. While pressing, turn it counter-clockwise to the large flame symbol. A spark will be generated to light the gas.

3. After the flame ignites, continue to press the knob for 3-5 seconds to activate the safety device (if your model has one).

4. Release the knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the process. If it fails to light within 15 seconds, release the knob, wait at least one minute for gas to dissipate, and then try again.

5. Adjust the flame to the desired power level.

1. Open the oven door.

2. Press and hold the oven control knob and rotate it counter-clockwise.

3. Press and release the ignition button. Repeat this action until the gas ignites.

4. Once the oven burner is lit, continue to press and hold the control knob for another 3 to 5 seconds to engage the safety device.

5. Select the desired oven gas power and release the knob.

6. Close the oven door.

Note: Do not attempt to ignite the gas for more than 15 seconds. If it doesn’t light, turn the knob off, wait at least one minute, and ventilate the room before trying again. If there is no power, you can ignite the burner through the ignition hole with a match or lighter.

Always keep the oven door open when grilling.

1. Open the oven door.

2. Press and hold the oven control knob and rotate it clockwise to the grill symbol.

3. Press and release the ignition button. Repeat this action until the gas ignites.

4. Once the grill is lit, continue to press and hold the knob for another 3 to 5 seconds.

5. Release the knob.

Warning: Since the door will be open during grilling, hot surfaces may cause burns. Keep children away from the product.

The rotisserie is used to grill meat, poultry, and fish evenly. The maximum weight for food is 5 kg. The oven door must be kept open during operation.

1. Secure the food to the spit using the forks.

2. If your model has a rotisserie support wire, attach it inside the oven.

3. Attach the rotisserie spit’s hook to the hook slot inside the oven.

4. Place the pointed end of the spit into the rotating slot on the left side of the oven cavity.

5. Hang the other end of the spit on the hook, making sure it is secure.

6. Place a tray on a lower shelf to collect drips. You can add some water to the tray for easier cleaning.

7. Ignite the grill burner.

8. Press the lamp/rotisserie button to start the rotation.

9. When cooking is complete, use the plastic handgrip (if provided) to safely remove the hot spit.

Tips for baking cakes:

• If the cake is too dry, increase the temperature by 10°C and shorten the baking time.

• If the cake is moist, use a smaller amount of liquid or reduce the temperature by 10°C.

• If the top of the cake is burnt, place it on a lower shelf, lower the temperature, and increase the baking time.

• If the inside is cooked but the outside is sticky, use less liquid, reduce the temperature, and increase the cooking time.

Tips for cooking pastries:

• If the pastry is too dry, increase the temperature by 10°C and shorten the cooking time. Wet dough sheets with a sauce (milk, oil, egg, yogurt mixture).

• If the pastry is cooking slowly, make sure the prepared pastry is not too thick in the tray.

• If the top is browned but the bottom isn’t, ensure you have not used too much sauce on the bottom layer. For the next time, try placing it on a lower shelf.

1. After the hob has cooled, remove the pot holders, burner caps, and burner heads.

2. Clean the hob surface according to its material type (enamelled, glass, stainless steel).

3. Clean the burner chamber with a cloth soaked in detergent or a soft, non-scratching brush. Ensure no food remains.

4. Clean the spark plugs and thermal elements with a well-squeezed cloth and dry thoroughly.

5. Clean the burner caps and heads with detergent water and dry them.

6. For stubborn stains, soak the burner parts in warm soapy water for at least 15 minutes, then clean with a non-metallic, non-scratching brush.

7. Reassemble the parts correctly. Ensure the burner head is properly seated over the spark plug and the burner cap is placed correctly on the head. Center the pot holders over the burners.

To Remove the Oven Door:

1. Open the oven door completely.

2. Locate the clips on the hinge sockets on both the right and left sides. Press them downwards to open them.

3. Raise the door to a half-open position.

4. Pull the door upwards to release it from the hinges.

To Remove the Inner Glass:

1. With the door removed or open, find the plastic component at the top of the door.

2. Press the pressure points on both sides of this component and pull it towards you to remove it.

3. Gently lift the innermost glass panel up and then pull it out.

4. If your model has an additional inner glass panel, repeat the process to remove it.

To reassemble, follow these steps in reverse. When reinstalling the door, ensure you close the clips on the hinge sockets.

First, disconnect the oven from the power supply and wait for it to cool down to avoid burns.

For a round lamp:

1. Turn the glass cover counter-clockwise to remove it.

2. Remove the old lamp by either unscrewing it or pulling it straight out, depending on the type.

3. Install the new lamp.

4. Refit the glass cover.

For a square lamp:

1. Remove any wire shelves in the way.

2. Use a screwdriver to gently lift the protective glass cover.

3. Remove the old lamp by either unscrewing it or pulling it straight out.

4. Install the new lamp.

5. Refit the glass cover and the wire shelves.

It is normal for steam to escape from the oven during operation. The vapour created during cooking can also condense and form water droplets when it comes into contact with colder surfaces of the oven. Neither of these is a fault.

When the metal parts of the oven are heated, they expand, and as they cool, they contract. This can cause clicking or popping noises. This is normal and is not a fault.

First, check if there is power to the appliance and check the fuses in your home’s fuse box. If there is power, the oven lamp is likely defective and needs to be replaced.

There are several possible reasons:

• The burners may be dirty. Clean all burner components thoroughly.

• The burners may be wet. Dry the burner components completely.

• The burner cap may not be mounted correctly. Ensure it is seated properly.

• The main gas valve might be closed. Check and open the gas valve.

• If you are using LPG, the gas cylinder may be empty. Replace the gas cylinder.

If baking is taking longer than expected, the gas pressure might be low. Try adjusting the oven to a higher gas mark.

A blinking clock display or a constant clock symbol indicates that a power outage has occurred. You will need to reset the time. Alternatively, you can switch the product off and then on again.
