• Do not load the appliance above the maximum capacity indicated in the program table.

• Do not wash fibreglass materials, as small particles can remain and cause skin irritation in subsequent washes.

• Remove all objects from pockets, such as lighters and matches, before washing.

• Ensure there is no water in the drum before opening the door.

• Never wash a carpet in the appliance.

• Do not tamper with the controls or reach into the appliance while the drum is moving.

• Never open the door forcibly or use it as a step.

• The final part of a tumble dryer cycle is a cool-down phase without heat to prevent damage to items.

• Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the cycle unless all items are removed quickly and spread out to dissipate heat.

The CREDA CRWD105W is intended for household and similar applications, such as:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.

• Farmhouses.

• Use by clients in hotels, motels, bed & breakfast, and other residential environments.

This appliance is not for professional use and should not be used outdoors. Do not use solvents (like turpentine, benzene), detergents with solvents, scouring powder, or flammable fluids in the machine. Do not wash fabrics that have been treated with such substances.

For a safe installation of your CREDA CRWD105W, please follow these rules:

• The appliance must be handled and installed by two or more people.

• Install the appliance in a room with a drain.

• Installation and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.

• Do not install the appliance where it may be exposed to extreme conditions, like temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C.

• Do not install in a bathroom or a very wet room, or in a place with caustic or explosive gas.

• Ensure the four feet are stable and resting on the floor. Use a spirit level to check.

• The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, sliding door, or a door with a hinge on the opposite side that would restrict the appliance door.

• Make sure ventilation openings in the base are not obstructed by a carpet.

• **It is imperative that the transport bolts are removed before using the machine.** After removal, cover the openings with the 4 enclosed plastic caps.

• The supply water pressure must be between 0.03-1.0 MPa.

• Use only the new water inlet hose supplied with the appliance. Do not reuse old hoses.

To ensure electrical safety for your CREDA CRWD105W, follow these instructions:

• It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power supply by unplugging it or by using a multi-pole switch installed upstream of the socket.

Here is a guide to the control panel functions of the CREDA CRWD105W:

• A. Wash Cycle Selector: Turn the knob to select the desired wash program (e.g., Cotton, Mix, Wool). After the cycle, turn the knob to the power off symbol to switch off the appliance.

• B. Temperature Button: Press to change the water temperature for the selected cycle. The selected temperature will be illuminated on the display.

• C. Speed Button: Press to change the spin speed for the selected cycle. The chosen speed will be illuminated. To activate the Child Lock, press and hold this button for 3 seconds.

To Cancel the Buzzer: Press and hold the Speed button and the One Touch button simultaneously for at least 3 seconds.

The digital display of your CREDA CRWD105W shows the following information:

1. Temperature: Shows the default or selected water temperature for the program.

2. Spinning Speed: Shows the default or selected spin speed.

3. Door Lock Symbol: When lit, the door is locked and cannot be opened. Wait for this symbol to turn off before opening the door.

4. Child Lock Symbol: Indicates that the child lock function is activated, and the control panel is locked.

5. Delay End Symbol: Indicates that the delay end function is active. The display will show the countdown to the cycle’s end time.

6. One Touch Symbol: Indicates that the one-touch wash program is selected.

7. Drying Function Symbol: When lit, it means the drying function has been set or is in progress.

8. Digital Display Area: Shows wash cycle remaining time, delay end time, drying time, or a fault code if a problem occurs.

Down Jacket Cycle:

This cycle is for washing single down items (not exceeding 2.0kg), cushions, or clothes padded with goose down. For best results:

• Place the down item in the drum with its edges folded inwards.

• Do not fill the drum more than 3/4 of its total volume.

• Use a liquid detergent placed inside the detergent dispenser drawer.

Wool Cycle:

This cycle is designed for wool fabrics. Follow these guidelines:

1. Confirm that the clothing item has a “machine washable” label.

2. After the cycle, remove the clothes quickly, shape them, and dry them to avoid deformation.

3. The water temperature should not exceed 40°C to prevent damage.

4. Use a special detergent for wool and do not exceed a load of 1.0 kg.

Your CREDA CRWD105W has several drying options:

1. Setting a Wash & Dry Program:

• Load laundry, close the door, and select a wash program (that supports drying).

• Press the ‘Dry’ button to select a drying mode:

– Automatic Drying: Press the ‘Dry’ button until “Auto” is displayed. The drying time will be automatically adjusted based on the amount and humidity of the clothes.

– Timed Drying: Press the ‘Dry’ button to cycle through timed options (30, 60, 90 minutes, etc.). Select the desired time.

• Press the Start/Pause button. The machine will wash and then automatically start the drying program.

2. Setting a Drying Only Program:

• This program is suitable for cotton clothes. It is recommended to run a spin cycle first.

• Load the laundry, close the door, and turn the selector knob to the ‘Drying’ program.

• Press the ‘Dry’ button to select either Auto drying or Time drying.

• Press the Start/Pause button to begin the drying cycle.

Precautions for Drying:

• The faucet must be turned on during drying, as water is required for cooling and dehumidification.

• If laundry is very wet, the machine may automatically extend the drying time.

• Wool fabrics and clothes liable to deformation or shrinkage are not suitable for drying.

• For larger or thicker items, you may need to add more drying time after the cycle finishes.

Child Lock:

1. To prevent accidental changes to a running cycle, you can activate the Child Lock.

2. During operation, long press the ‘SPEED’ button for 3 seconds to set or cancel the function.

3. When set, the indicator light illuminates, the door is locked, and all buttons on the control panel (except turning the selector knob to OFF) will not respond.

Delay End:

1. This function lets you set a time for the program to finish, up to a maximum of 24 hours.

2. After selecting your wash program, press the ‘Delay End’ button repeatedly until the desired end time is displayed (e.g., 8h for the cycle to finish in 8 hours).

3. Press the Start/Pause button. The machine will calculate when to start the wash so it finishes at your set time.

Steam Function:

1. This cycle is designed for cotton clothes that are not easy to fade.

2. Press the ‘Steam’ button when selecting your wash cycle options.

3. Steam treatment can help reduce wrinkles, making ironing easier, and can also help remove peculiar smells from clothes.

Follow these steps for a correct installation:

1. Unpacking and Carrying:

• Remove all packaging. To remove the cushion bottom, lay the appliance down on its side carefully, protecting the side panel.

• To carry the appliance, tilt it backward. One person should hold the top plate from behind, while another holds the bottom of the front panel.

2. Removing Transport Bolts (Crucial Step):

• Before first use, you MUST remove all 4 transport bolts from the back of the appliance using the supplied wrench.

• Tip the machine to let the four plastic spacers fall to the floor and remove them.

• Insert the four cover caps (from the accessories bag) into the holes.

• Keep the bolts and spacers for future transportation.

3. Location and Levelling:

• Choose a level, stable, and solid surface. Do not install on a soft carpet.

• Adjust the four feet as required to level the appliance. Use a spirit level to check it is level side-to-side and front-to-rear.

• Press down on each corner to ensure it doesn’t “wobble”.

• Once level, tighten the locknuts against the bottom of the appliance to lock the feet in place.

4. Connecting the Water Inlet Hose:

• Connect one end of the new inlet hose to a cold water tap and tighten by hand.

• Connect the other end to the water inlet valve on the rear of the appliance and tighten by hand.

• Turn on the tap slowly and check for leaks.

5. Connecting the Drain Hose:

• The height of the drainage point (standpipe, sink, etc.) must be between a minimum of 60cm and a maximum of 100cm from the floor.

• Secure the drain hose to a standpipe, sink siphon, or wash basin. Ensure it is not kinked or twisted and that the end is not submerged in discharged water.

Preparing Laundry:

1. Remove any loose or metal objects from laundry, checking pockets and cuffs. Close zips and button up items.

2. Use a net bag or pillowcase for smaller items like tights, socks, and lace.

3. Sort laundry according to colour, degree of soiling, and recommended wash temperature.

• Light Soiling: No visible stains, but may have absorbed some odour.

• Normal Soiling: Visible soiling or light stains (e.g., T-shirts, blouses).

• Heavy Soiling: Visible stains and dirt (e.g., kitchen towels, children’s clothes).

Follow these steps to run a wash cycle on your CREDA CRWD105W:

Before First Use: Run a ‘Drum Clean’ cycle with no laundry but 1-2 tablespoons of detergent to clean the system.

1. Load Laundry: Open the door and load articles one at a time loosely into the drum without overfilling. Refer to the ‘Table of wash cycle’ for load sizes.

2. Close Door: Ensure no laundry is caught between the door glass and rubber seal. Close the door until you hear it click shut.

3. Open Water Tap: Make sure the washing machine is connected to the water mains and open the water tap.

4. Add Detergent: Pull out the detergent dispenser and add detergent and softener to the correct compartments:

• Compartment 1: Powder Detergent (for pre-wash)

• Compartment 2: Liquid Detergent (main wash)

• Compartment 3: Additives (Softener)

Do not exceed the Max fill line.

5. Set the Program: Turn the wash cycle selector knob to the desired program. The display will show the cycle duration and default temperature/spin speed.

6. Select Options (Optional):

• Press the ‘Temp.’ button to change the temperature.

• Press the ‘Speed’ button to change the spin speed.

• Press other option buttons like ‘Steam’, ‘Drying’, or ‘Delay End’ as needed.

7. Start Program: Press and hold the ‘START/PAUSE’ button. The door will lock, and the cycle will begin.

8. End of Cycle: When the cycle is finished, the message “End” will show on the display. Wait for the DOOR LOCK indicator to turn off, then open the door and remove your laundry.

9. Switch Off: Turn the wash cycle selector knob to the OFF position. Leave the door slightly ajar to let the interior dry.

Pausing a Program and Opening the Door:

• Press the START/PAUSE button to pause the program.

• If the water level and temperature are not too high, the DOOR LOCK indicator light will turn off. You can then open the door to add or remove laundry.

• Close the door and press the START/PAUSE button again to resume the program.

Changing Settings of a Running Program:

• Press the START/PAUSE button to pause the program.

• Change your settings (e.g., temperature, spin speed).

• Press the START/PAUSE button again to continue the program with the new settings.

Cancelling a Running Program:

• Turn the wash cycle selector knob to the OFF position to stop the appliance.

• If there is water in the drum, the door will remain locked. To unlock it, switch the appliance back on, select the ‘Spin’ program, and set the spin speed to off by pressing the SPEED button until all speed indicators are off. Press START/PAUSE. The water will be emptied, and the door will unlock at the end of this short cycle.

If your CREDA CRWD105W displays a fault code, refer to the table below.

Note: Be sure to check and eliminate the fault cause before pressing the start/pause button again. If a fault code persists, unplug the power cord and call customer service.

Regular maintenance will keep your CREDA CRWD105W in top operating condition. WARNING: Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.

Cleaning the Exterior:

• Use hot soapy water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent.

• Rub dry with a soft towel. Do not use high-pressure spray.

Cleaning the Drum:

• To remove rust spots left by metallic debris, use a chlorine-free cleaning agent and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use steel wool.

Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser:

1. Open the tray fully. Press down on the drawer catch (1) and pull the tray (2) out.

2. Remove the liquid detergent cover (3) by pulling it upwards.

3. Clean the cover and tray under running water.

4. Re-attach the cover and slide the tray back into place securely.

Cleaning the Mesh Filter:

1. Close the water tap and unscrew the water inlet hose from the tap.

2. Clean the mesh filter at the hose’s end with a fine brush.

3. Unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the appliance. Pull out the mesh filter from the valve with pliers and clean it.

4. Insert the filters again and reconnect the hoses, ensuring connections are tight.

Cleaning the Drain Pump:

1. If the appliance fails to drain, the pump may be blocked. First, try to drain the water by running a ‘Spin’ cycle with the spin speed set to off.

2. Shut off the tap, switch off the appliance, and unplug the power cord.

3. Open the drain filter cover at the bottom of the machine.

4. Use the pull-out drain hose to drain remaining water into a container. Pull the sealing cap from the hose to drain.

5. Turn the pump cover counter-clockwise to remove it. Clean the interior of the pump housing, removing any debris.

6. Check that the impeller at the back of the housing can turn freely.

7. Replace the pump cover by screwing it tightly into position (handle must be vertical).

8. Close the drain filter cover.
