Before recording with your ANKO EB500437, clean the lens with the included cleaning cloth to remove fingerprints or dust. Additionally, ensure all mounts and screws are properly tightened to prevent vibrations or accidental drops during use.

1. Secure the camera to prevent drops.

2. Keep away from children, especially during charging.

3. Never open the housing or insert objects.

4. Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, dust, moisture, and strong magnetic fields (e.g., electrical machines).

5. Store in a cool, dry, dust-free location.

6. Keep away from hot surfaces, naked flames, and power surges.

7. Immediately disconnect power if the device overheats, emits smoke, or produces strange smells.

8. Regularly inspect cables/product; stop use if damaged.

9. Use Class 10 (or higher) Micro SD cards for optimal performance.

10. Keep SD cards away from magnetic objects to prevent data errors.

11. The built-in battery is non-removable; do not attempt replacement.

12. Clean surface stains with a dry cloth only when unplugged.

13. Disconnect the charger (if attached) before cleaning.

Never dismantle, crush, or pierce the battery, or allow the battery to short-circuit.

Do not expose the battery to a high-temperature environment. If the battery leaks or bulges, stop using it.

1. Gently push the Micro SD card into the slot until it locks into place. Inserting the card in the incorrect direction could damage the slot.

2. The camera supports memory expansion up to 64GB (one 32GB card is included).

3. Please use a Micro SD card that is Class 10 or higher.

4. A memory card is a small part and may be a choking hazard. Do not put it in your mouth. If the card cannot be read, please take it out, re-insert it, and check that the direction is correct.

Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode Button for 3 seconds.

Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode Button again for 3 seconds. Alternatively, you can slide down from the top of the screen and touch the Power Off icon.

Turn the camera ON and repeatedly press the Power/Mode Button to cycle through the camera modes. The modes will appear in the following order: Video Recording, Photo, and Playback.

You can press the Mode Button to cycle through Video/Photo Mode. Alternatively, you can click the bottom of the screen in either Video or Photo Mode, and a mode setting menu will appear for you to choose from.

Video Mode Options: Video/Slowly/Loop/Lapse

Photo Mode Options: Photo/Auto/Burst/Timer

There are two ways to play back media:

1. Verify the camera is in the Playback menu. Press the Up/Down Button to select files, and press the OK Button to playback a video or view a photo.

2. From the Video/Photo Mode screen, click the playback icon on the bottom of the screen to enter. Then, touch the left/right arrow to select files.

To access the Video or Photo settings, ensure you are in the corresponding Video or Photo interface. Touch the settings icon (gear symbol) on the bottom of the screen to enter the setting interface. Swipe to cycle through the main options, then click your preferred option to select.

1. After the camera is powered on, press and hold the Up Button. The Wi-Fi information will be displayed.

2. Find the Wi-Fi name and enter the password on your smartphone or tablet to connect.

3. Open the “XDV” app program. You can preview the shooting screen on the app, remotely control videos and photos, and playback, download, delete, or share files.

4. For app installation, the phone system requires Android 4.1 and above, or iOS 7 or more.

1. Connect the camera to a computer or a power adapter to charge.

2. Connect to a car charger to charge in the car.

Working LED light: Blue light.

Charging LED light: Red light. It will flash red when charging and stay constant red when charging is complete.

1. To record video, verify the camera is in Video mode.

2. If the video icon is displayed on the screen, press the OK Button to start video recording. The blue light will flash while recording.

3. Press the OK Button again to stop the video. The blue light will stop flashing and the camera will emit a beep sound.

1. To take a photo, verify the camera is in Photo Mode.

2. If the photo icon is displayed on screen, press the OK Button to take photos.

Long press the Down Button to switch between the back screen and front screen for viewing video and photos. The back screen goes off after switching to the front screen display, and the front screen goes off after switching to the back screen display.

Connect the camera to a PC and turn it on. The screen will display 3 modes: USB Mode, PC Camera, and Charging Mode. Press the up and down buttons to choose the mode you desire.

USB Mode: Press the OK Button or Click to enter this mode for playback or to download videos and photos.

PC Camera: Press the OK Button or Click to use the device as a PC camera.

Charging Mode: Press the OK Button or Click for charging.

Before using the Wi-Fi function, you must install the “XDV” app program on your smartphone.

1. Search for “XDV” in your phone’s app store.

2. Android smartphones need to download it from the Google Play store.

3. iOS smartphones need to download it from the Apple App store.
