To prepare the power supply, use the included AC adaptor (Model AD-E24250LW). Follow these steps to connect it:

1. Connect the power cord to the AC adaptor.

2. Connect the AC adaptor to the power supply terminal (DC 24V) located at the bottom of the digital piano.

3. Plug the power cord into a household wall outlet.

Never connect the AC adaptor and power cord supplied with this digital piano to any other device. Be sure to turn the power off before unplugging or plugging in the AC adaptor. Unplug the adaptor from the power outlet when not using the digital piano for a long period of time.

To turn the power on: Press the Power button. Each touch button will blink while the digital piano is starting up. When all touch buttons are lit, the instrument is ready for use. Use the volume knob to adjust the sound level.

To turn the power off: Press and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds. The instrument will enter standby mode.

The CASIO CELVIANO AP-S200BK features an Auto Power Off function that automatically turns the power off after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

Opening the cover: Place both hands in the recess of the keyboard cover, lift it up slightly, and push it back until it is fully open.

Closing the cover: Place both hands in the recess of the keyboard cover and slowly pull it toward you until it is completely closed.

Always be careful not to get your hands or fingers caught in the cover, and do not place objects on top of the cover as they may fall inside the instrument.

To select a tone using the keyboard:

1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button.

2. Press a key from G3 to C#5 to select the desired tone. The names of the tones are marked above the keys.

Alternatively, you can cycle through tones by holding down the GRAND PIANO button and pressing the B2 key for the previous tone or the C3 key for the next tone.

Layering allows you to play two tones (Upper1 and Upper2) at the same time.

1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C7 key to turn Layer on.

2. While holding the GRAND PIANO button, press a key from G3 to C5 to select the tone for the Upper2 part.

3. To turn layering off, hold down the GRAND PIANO button and press the C7 key again, or simply touch the GRAND PIANO button alone.

The Split function allows you to play a bass tone in the lower section of the keyboard and a different tone in the upper section.

1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button.

2. Press the C#5 key (BASS). This assigns the BASS tone to the left side of the keyboard.

3. The right side of the keyboard will remain the previously selected tone.

Selecting any tone other than the BASS tone while in this mode will cancel the split state.

The Duet function splits the keyboard into two halves with identical pitch ranges, allowing two people to play the same range simultaneously.

1. Hold down the FUNCTION button and press the F2 key.

2. Cycle through the settings: Off (Turns off Duet), On (Turns on Duet), or Pan (Left keyboard sound outputs from the left speaker, right keyboard sound from the right speaker).

When Duet is active, the left and right pedals function as damper pedals for their respective sides of the keyboard, and the center pedal serves as a damper for both sides.

To start or stop the metronome, touch the METRONOME button. While it is active, the beat indicators will light up in time with the tempo.

To set the beat:

1. Hold down the METRONOME button.

2. Press a key from C#3 to Bb3. Settings range from “Off” (only click) to 9 beats per bar.

To adjust the metronome volume, hold down the METRONOME button and press A1 to decrease or Bb1 to increase the volume (range 0 to 42).

There are several ways to set the tempo (range 20 to 255 bpm):

Numerical input: Hold down the METRONOME button and use the keys A0 to F#1 (acting as digits 0-9) to enter the bpm value.

Step adjustment: Hold down the METRONOME button and press B2 (minus) or C3 (plus) to change the tempo by 1.

Tempo marking: Hold down the METRONOME button and press keys C2 to Ab2 to select a marking like Largo (46), Andante (72), or Allegro (132).

Tap tempo: Hold down the METRONOME button and tap the Bb2 key two or more times at the desired speed.

Touch the SOUND MODE button to toggle these effects on and off. The indicators above the button show the current status.

To select a specific preset:

1. Hold down the SOUND MODE button.

2. Press a key from A0 to E1 to choose a simulator type (e.g., N.Y. Club, Berlin Hall, Room, Stadium).

To adjust effect depth, hold down the SOUND MODE button and press D2 to decrease or Eb2 to increase the depth (range 0 to 42).

You can adjust characteristics like resonance and action noise by holding the SOUND MODE button and pressing the following keys:

String Resonance: Keys C#3 to F#3.

Damper Resonance: Keys G3 to C4.

Damper Noise: Keys C#4 to F#4.

Key On Action Noise: Keys G4 to C5.

Key Off Action Noise: Keys C#5 to F#5.

For each setting, you can choose between Off, Tone (automatic), or levels 1 to 4.

The Touch Response function changes the volume based on how hard you press the keys.

1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button.

2. Press a key from Eb1 to Ab1 to select a sensitivity level:

Eb1: Off (Constant volume).

E1: Level 1 (Light touch for loud sound).

F1: Level 2 (Medium light).

F#1: Level 3 (Normal standard setting).

G1: Level 4 (Medium heavy).

Ab1: Level 5 (Heavy touch required for loud sound).

Transpose allows you to raise or lower the overall pitch in semitone steps (range -12 to +12).

1. Hold down the GRAND PIANO button.

2. Press C#1 to lower the pitch or D1 to raise the pitch.

Pressing C#1 and D1 together while holding GRAND PIANO resets the transposition to 0.

1. Touch the Record (REC) button. It will blink red to indicate standby.

2. Start playing; recording begins automatically. The REC button will light solid red.

3. To stop recording, touch the REC button again. It will return to a white light.

4. To play back the recording, touch the Play/Stop button.

Only one song can be recorded at a time; starting a new recording will erase the previous one. The capacity is approximately 10,000 notes.

The Audio Recorder saves your performance as a WAV file on a USB flash drive.

1. Connect a formatted USB flash drive to the USB Type A port.

2. Hold down the FUNCTION button and press C4 to switch the recorder setting to Audio Recorder.

3. Touch the REC button (it will blink red).

4. Start playing to begin recording (up to 25 minutes per file).

5. Touch the REC button to stop. The file is saved as “TAKE**.WAV” in the AUDIOREC folder.

1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB Type A port.

2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

3. Press the C2 key (Format). The right side of the beat indicator will blink.

4. Press the C1 key (Execute) to start formatting.

Formatting deletes all data on the drive. Use FAT32 or exFAT formatted drives.

1. Insert the supplied Wireless MIDI and audio adaptor into the USB Type A port.

2. Enable Bluetooth on your smart device.

3. On the piano, hold down the FUNCTION button and press C#1 (Wireless Audio Pairing). The Power button indicator will flash blue.

4. On your smart device, select “WU-BT10 AUDIO” to pair.

When connected, the Power button light will turn blue, and a notification tone will sound.

A factory reset initializes all system settings and internal data.

1. Press and hold the FUNCTION button.

2. Press the A0 key (Factory Reset). The FUNCTION button will blink.

3. While still holding FUNCTION, press the C1 key (Execute) to confirm.

4. Wait for the process to finish. All touch buttons will light up when complete.

Panel Lock prevents accidental button operations during a performance.

1. Hold down the FUNCTION button and press the C8 key.

2. Toggle between settings: Disable (Unlocks), Enable (Always locked), or Auto (Locks only during performances).

The power button and the unlocking operation itself are not affected by Panel Lock.

If touch buttons are unresponsive, check the following:

1. Ensure you are touching the buttons firmly with bare fingers; they will not respond to gloved fingers.

2. Increase touch button sensitivity: Turn off the power. While pressing the C8 key (the rightmost key), press the Power button. Do not release C8 until the buttons start to blink. This sets the sensitivity to high.

Check these common causes and solutions:

Volume: Ensure the volume knob is not set to the minimum.

Headphones: Check if headphones or a conversion plug are plugged into the PHONES/OUTPUT jacks, as this usually mutes the speakers.

Local Control: Ensure [Local Control] is set to On (Function + F6).

Speaker Out: Ensure [Speaker Out] is not set to Off (Function + Eb7).
