The recommended system requirements for the BOSCH FLEXIDOME MICRO 3100I NUV-3702-F02 are:

The unit must have a valid IP address and a compatible subnet mask to operate on your network. By default, DHCP is pre-set to On. To connect:

1. Start the web browser.

2. Enter the IP address of the device as the URL.

3. During the initial installation, confirm any security questions that show.

If you cannot connect, the unit may have reached its maximum number of connections.

The device is password-protected. The first time any user accesses the device, they must set a service-level password. The password must obey the following conditions:

8 to 19 characters in length.

Upper and lower case letters.

Minimum of 1 digit.

Minimum of 1 special character.

Note that the following special characters are not allowed: @, &, <, >, :, +.

The application bar displays the following icons:

Live: View the live video stream.

Playback: Play back recorded sequences. This link is only visible if a storage medium has been configured for recording.

Configuration: Configure the device.

Dashboard: See detailed system information.

Links: Navigate to the download store.

Logout: Log out of the device.

Question Mark: Get context-sensitive help for the page you are browsing.

To view a live stream of the selected video channel:

1. On the left side of the browser, expand the Connection group if necessary.

2. Click the Stream drop-down arrow to see the options.

3. Select the stream you wish to view.

To search for recorded video on the Playback page:

1. Expand the Search group on the left side of the browser.

2. To limit the search to a particular time range, enter the date and times for the start and stop points.

3. Select an option from the drop-down box to define a search parameter.

4. Click Search.

5. The results are listed in a new window. Click a result to play it back.

6. Click Back to define a new search or Last results to display the latest search results.

To export recorded video via the browser:

1. Expand the Export group on the left side of the browser if necessary.

2. Select a track in the track list or in the search results.

3. The start and stop date and time are filled for the selected track. Change the times if necessary.

4. In the Time lapse drop-down box, select “Original” to export the video as its original, or “Condensed” to export video condensed to a given output time.

5. In the Location drop-down box, select a target.

6. Click Export to save the video track.

To create a new user, navigate to Configuration, General, then User Management:

1. Click Add in the section below Authentication modes.

2. In the User box, enter a User name (minimum 5, maximum 31 characters).

3. Select the appropriate Group (authorization level): “live”, “user”, “IVA configuration”, or “service”.

4. For Type, select either “Password” (and enter a new password) or “Certificate”.

5. Click Set to confirm and create the new user.

To change the image rotation, go to Configuration, Camera, then Installer Menu. Select one of the following options:

0 degrees: For normal mounting.

90 degrees upright: Good for vertical scenes such as hallways.

180 degrees.

270 degrees upright: Good for vertical scenes such as hallways.

The upright modes change the aspect ratio and signaling to the interfaces (e.g., 16:9 to 9:16).

The available White balance options in the Color configuration page are:

Privacy Masks block specific areas of a scene. To configure a mask:

1. Go to Configuration, Camera, then Privacy Masks.

2. Select the mask number from the drop-down list.

3. Click the plus button.

4. Adjust the mask in the image by double-clicking edges to add/remove nodes and dragging nodes to position them.

5. Check the Enabled check box to activate the related mask.

6. Click the Set button to apply changes.

You can select a pattern color (Auto, Black, Gray, White, or Custom color).

The device provides several default profiles. For 2MP models (Full image Circle), the profiles include:

Formatting deletes all data and recreates a valid file structure. To format:

1. Navigate to Configuration, Recording, then Storage Management.

2. Click a storage medium in the Managed storage media list to select it.

3. Click Edit below the list.

4. Click Format in the new window.

5. Click OK to close the window.

6. Click Set to apply the changes.

To update the firmware via the Maintenance page:

1. First, store the firmware file on your hard disk.

2. Enter the full path for the firmware file in the field or click Browse… to locate and select the file.

3. Click Upload to begin transferring the file to the device.

4. The device will reboot automatically when the upload is completed successfully.

Note: Do not interrupt the firmware installation.

To complete a hardware reset:

1. Apply power to the camera.

2. Find the hardware reset button on the camera block (remove the camera bubble to access it).

3. Push and hold the reset button for more than 10 seconds. The red LED indicator will begin flashing.

4. Let the camera complete a self-check. When finished, the red LED will turn off.

5. Search again for the IP address, access the camera via the browser, and set the initial password.

To determine non-automatically set values:

1. Enter known values for tilt angle, roll angle, height, and focal length.

2. For unknown values, select the Calculate check box.

3. Place calibration elements on the camera image to trace outlines of the environment.

4. Click the vertical line icon to place a vertical line (e.g., door frame) or the ground line icon to place a line on the ground (e.g., road marking).

5. Enter the real size of the line or angle in the corresponding box.

6. Adjust the position or length by dragging the line or endpoints.
