To clean the BOSCH FLEXIDOME MICRO 3100I NUE-3702-F02, do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

Do not install the device near any heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or other equipment (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Do not spill liquids on the device before installation is completed.

Take precautions to protect the device from power and lightning surges.

Adjust only those controls specified in the operating instructions.

Operate the device only from the type of power source indicated on the label.

Unless qualified, do not attempt to service a damaged device yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

The recommended system requirements are:

Computer with Dual core HyperThreading processor or better.

Graphic card with performance that matches or is better than the resolution of the camera.

Windows 10 or later.

Network access.

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.

Alternatively, application software such as Video Security Client, Bosch Video Client, or BVMS can be used.

The unit must have a valid IP address and a compatible subnet mask. By default, DHCP is pre-set to On. If no DHCP server is found, a default address is assigned via link-local address.

1. Download the Project Assistant app or Configuration Manager to find the IP address.

2. Start the web browser.

3. Enter the IP address of the device as the URL.

4. During the initial installation, confirm any security questions that show.

The device is password-protected. The first time you access the device, you will be prompted to set a service-level password. The password must obey the following conditions:

8 to 19 characters in length.

Upper and lower case letters.

Minimum of 1 digit.

Minimum of 1 special character (Allowed: !, ?, “, #, $, %, (, ), {, }, [, ], *, -, =, ., ,, ;, ^, _, |, ~, \).

Enter the user name (“service”) and the new password in the appropriate fields and click OK.

Live: Click this icon to view the live video stream.

Playback: Click this icon to play back recorded sequences. This link is only visible if a storage medium has been configured for recording.

Configuration: Click this icon to configure the device.

Dashboard: Click this icon to see detailed system information.

Links: Click this icon to navigate to the download store.

Logout: Click this icon to log out of the device.

Help: Click this icon to get context-sensitive help for the page you are browsing.

After connecting, the Live page is displayed initially.

1. On the left side of the browser, expand the Connection group if necessary.

2. Click the Stream drop-down arrow to see the options.

3. Select the stream you wish to view.

1. Go to the Playback page. Expand the Export group on the left side.

2. Select a track in the track list or in the search results.

3. The start and stop date and time are filled for the selected track. Change the times if necessary.

4. In the Time lapse drop-down box, select Original to export the video as is, or Condensed to export it condensed to a given output time.

5. In the Location drop-down box, select a target.

6. Click Export to save the video track.

Navigate to Configuration > General > User Management.

To create a new user:

1. Click Add in the section below Authentication modes.

2. Enter a User name (5 to 31 characters).

3. Select the Group (authorization level): live, user, IVA configuration, or service.

4. Select the Type: Password or Certificate.

5. If Password is selected, enter the new password twice.

6. Click Set to confirm.

To edit a password, click the pencil icon to the right of the column Type for the appropriate User name.

Navigate to Configuration > General > Date/Time.

Ensure that recording is stopped before syncing.

Enter the current time manually or click the Sync to PC button to copy your computer’s system time to the camera.

Click Set to apply changes.

Navigate to Configuration > Camera > Color. Select the appropriate mode from the White balance drop-down list.

Click Set to apply the changes.

Navigate to Configuration > Camera > Installer Menu.

For Image rotation, select one of the following: 0°, 90° (upright), 180°, or 270° (upright).

For Mirror image, select On to output a mirror image of the device picture.

Notice: A factory default deletes all camera settings including passwords, network settings, and image settings.

1. Apply power to the camera.

2. Remove the camera bubble to access the reset button on the camera block.

3. Push and hold the reset button for more than 10 seconds. The red LED indicator will begin flashing.

4. Let the camera complete a self-check. When finished, the red LED will turn off.

5. Search again for the IP address, access the camera via browser, and set the initial password.

Formatting deletes all data and recreates the file structure. Check recordings before deleting.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Recording > Storage Management.

2. Click a storage medium in the Managed storage media list to select it.

3. Click Edit below the list.

4. Click Format in the new window to delete all recordings.

5. Click OK to close the window.

6. Click Set to apply changes.

Navigate to Configuration > Camera > Privacy Masks.

1. Select the color of the mask (Auto, Black, Gray, White, or Custom color).

2. Select the mask number from the drop-down list.

3. Click the plus button.

4. Adjust the mask in the image by double-clicking edges to add/remove nodes and dragging nodes to position.

5. Check the Enabled check box to activate the mask.

6. Click the Set button to apply.

Navigate to Configuration > Service > Maintenance.

Notice: Do not interrupt the firmware installation.

1. First, store the firmware file on your hard disk.

2. Enter the full path for the firmware file in the field or click Browse… to locate and select the file.

3. Click Upload to begin transferring the file. The device will reboot automatically upon success.

The device offers several default profiles depending on the model resolution (2 MP or 5 MP). Below are the profiles for the Video Channel 1: Full image Circle.

Navigate to Configuration > Camera > Positioning.

1. Enter known values for tilt, roll, height, and focal length if available.

2. Select the Calculate check box for unknown values.

3. Use the Sketch tools to draw on the image:

Click the vertical line icon to place a vertical line across the image (e.g., door frame, lamp post).

Click the ground line icon to place a line across the ground in the image (e.g., road marking).

Click the angle icon to place an angle on the ground (e.g., parking bay marking).

4. Enter the real size of the line or angle in the corresponding box.

5. Adjust the position of the elements in the image.

Navigate to Configuration > Camera > Installer Menu.

Click the Enabled or Disabled check-box to switch the Camera LED on or off.

Select Auto disable to let the camera determine when the LED should be switched off. In this mode, the LED activates when powering on and deactivates automatically after 5 minutes.

Navigate to Configuration > Recording > Recording Scheduler.

1. Click the profile to be assigned in the Time periods box.

2. Click a field in the table and drag the cursor across the fields to assign the profile to specific times/days.

3. To remove recordings, select the No recordings profile and drag over the intervals.

4. Click Set to save the settings.

5. To activate, click Start to activate the recording schedule.

Navigate to Configuration > Alarm > Alarm Email.

1. Select On for Send alarm e-mail.

2. Enter the Mail server IP address and SMTP port.

3. Enter the SMTP user name and password if required.

4. Select the Format (Standard with JPEG or SMS).

5. Enter the Destination address and Sender address.

6. Click Send Now to test, then click Set to save.
