The BLUESKYSEA A12 features include:

Motorcycle Dashcam Host:

You can fix the host on the motorcycle handle with a bracket, or place the host under the motorcycle base.

Installation Cable:

Install the wire rod at each position of the locomotive in sequence according to the wiring method on the Installation Diagram. You must avoid the engine, areas with strong magnetism or electricity, and other locations to prevent interference.

The BLUESKYSEA A12 can be powered by USB for testing purposes or via a hard-wired kit for permanent installation. For the hard-wired kit:

1. The red wire (ACC) connects to the “lock switch” or rear light.

2. The black wire (GND) connects to the battery negative terminal.

3. The yellow wire (BAT+) connects to the positive pole of the power supply.

Wire Controller:

The controller button connects to the left or right side of the motorcycle’s handle and is attached with Velcro. It is recommended to place it where it is not easily exposed to water. The other end connects to the 4th line of the DVR host.

Front and Rear Lens:

Lock the lens ring and lens mount in the front and rear positions. The front lens can be installed below the motorcycle handle or above the swashplate. The rear lens should be in a rear protruding position. It is recommended to install the lens in a shock-absorbing position to avoid video shaking. Use the white dot mark on the lens to rotate and adjust the video to the correct front-view orientation.

The GPS antenna for the BLUESKYSEA A12 should be placed on the outside of the motorcycle with the front-facing up, looking directly at the sky without obstruction to achieve the best reception.

When you receive the BLUESKYSEA A12, connect all the parts and use the USB cable to connect to a power supply. This allows you to test and check whether all the functions of the motorcycle recorder are normal before committing to the final installation.

1. GPS Module: It is recommended to stick it outside the car body. Avoid metal components when placing it to prevent affecting GPS signal reception.

2. Screen Flicker: If the recording screen flickers abnormally, confirm whether the Mars plug uses the R-dass resistance type. If not, change to R-dass. If possible, wrap the camera cable with RF tape.

3. Cable Connector: Insert the cable connector according to the direction of the “arrows” at both ends. Do not insert it hard to avoid damaging the connector pin.

4. Lens Cable: The lens cable is wound in a winding manner; keep enough stretch length. If the cable is broken, the signal will be abnormal and the video will not be recorded.

5. Lens Position: To ensure the recording effect, install the lens in a position where the car body is not easy to shake.

6. Wet Conditions: When it is wet and rainy, make sure the inside of the cabin is dry, so as not to affect the work of the main engine due to water vapor.

7. Memory Card: Use a memory card with Class 10 U1 or higher. Use the host to format the card the first time you use it. Manually locked files will not be overwritten, so it’s recommended to format the card once a month to avoid insufficient space.

8. Power Supply Box: When installing the power supply box, confirm the polarity first. Opposite polarity will cause the power supply to be damaged. It is recommended to place the power supply box in a high position to avoid immersion in water.

9. Lens Cleaning: Wipe the lens for a fixed time to ensure shooting quality.

10. Abnormality: If you encounter a machine abnormality, please restart or reset the machine.

11. Power Cycling: Avoid switching the power back and forth quickly to avoid a malfunction of the machine.

12. Professional Installation: This product requires professional installation. Please consult a professional before installing the vehicle.

1. Before use, insert the micro SD memory card into the card slot in the correct direction. It is recommended to use a Class 10 U1 card or higher, with at least 32GB of storage.

2. After powering on, press and hold the [function key] for a long time to enter the menu to set the host’s values. If the micro SD does not need to be set, all values will be the factory settings. Press the [function key] to set the menu when it is turned on.

3. If the host does not turn on, first check whether the power cord is installed correctly.

1. Download the app: Search for “Roadcam” on Google Play or the Apple Store and download it.

2. Connect to device WiFi: Find “WiFi-camera-xxx-xxxx” in your phone’s WiFi list. Enter the password, which is 12345678 by default.

Note: After connecting to the device WiFi, your smartphone cannot access the Internet. If you cannot connect, set the phone to airplane mode and connect again.

3. Open the app: Open the “Roadcam” app and click the “WiFi-camera-xxx-xxxx” device to connect.

The app home page is simple. You can click “Video” to go to the video list and “Photo” to go to the picture list. You can also switch the front and rear cameras, and switch between video and photo modes.

To preview normal and locked videos:

1. Enter the video preview screen and find the normal video file.

2. Slide to the left to show a locked video.

Usage Guidelines:

1. Format the memory card with the machine for the first time, and format it periodically to maintain the reading stability of the memory card. Ensure the time on the machine is consistent with your local time before use.

2. Strictly abide by relevant national and local laws and regulations. Do not use this product for other illegal purposes.

3. Do not use the product in humid and high-temperature environments.

Cleaning Requirements:

Do not use any chemicals for cleaning. If you need to wipe the device, lightly moisten a cotton cloth with clean water and wipe it gently. The lens is used outside the vehicle and is easy to attract dust and dirt. Please wipe it with a common lens cleaning paper or glasses cloth.

Please check that the locomotive battery voltage is normal. The BLUESKYSEA A12 is designed for use in car models from the original locomotive. The compatibility of audio, speakers, high-voltage cables, HID headlights, etc., is not covered by the warranty. For some car models, such as the petrol version, please use the model with R-value to avoid abnormal recording (e.g., a splash screen or mosaic screen appearing). When the lens cable is installed, do not damage the signal brush and reduce breakage. At the same time, avoid the power supply circuit of the car, such as electric disks or relays.
