A red light (red) indicates the speaker is charging.
The light will be off (off) when the speaker is charged.
How do I power on the RockBox XL and enter Bluetooth pairing mode?
Press and hold the Power Button for 2-4 seconds. You will hear “Welcome to Altec Lansing”. The speaker is ready to pair when the Blue LED is slowly flashing.
How do I pair the RockBox XL with an NFC-enabled phone?
For NFC-Enabled Phones:
1. Ensure NFC is On on your phone.
2. Touch the back of your phone to the Altec Lansing Logo on the speaker (NFC Contact Point).
How do I activate House Party Mode?
After connecting your primary speaker via Bluetooth, press and hold the Bluetooth Link Button for 2-3 seconds. A green light indicates the Parent Speaker is ready to pair with additional speakers.
How do I connect additional speakers in House Party Mode?
For any additional speakers, tap the Bluetooth Link Button once. A green light will continue to flash on the speakers when connected.

To activate the JUST ASK feature and speak to Siri or Google Assistant, press the Answer Calls/JUST ASK button.

Press and hold the Answer Calls/JUST ASK button for 4 seconds. You will hear one beep, and the Bluetooth device will be disconnected.

Press and hold the Answer Calls/JUST ASK button for 8 seconds. You will hear a second beep, and all connection Bluetooth devices will be reset.
