Children and vulnerable people safety:

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way.

• Children between 3 and 8 years of age and persons with very extensive and complex disabilities shall be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.

• Children of less than 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately.

• Keep detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance when the door is open.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, it should be activated.

• Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the appliance without supervision.

General Safety:

• This appliance is for washing and drying domestic-type machine-washable and dryable laundry only.

• Do not use the dryer function if laundry has been soiled with industrial chemicals.

• This appliance is designed for single household domestic use in an indoor environment.

• The appliance shall be installed as a freestanding product or below the kitchen worktop if space margins permit.

• Do not install the appliance behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite side, that would prevent the appliance door from being fully open.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installation process. Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after installation.

• The ventilation opening in the base must not be covered by a carpet, mat, or any floor covering.

• Ensure good air ventilation in the room where the appliance is installed to avoid the backflow of unwanted gases from appliances burning gas or other fuels, including open fires.

• Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from any appliances burning gas or other fuels.

• The operating water pressure must be between 0.5 bar (0.05 MPa) and 10 bar (1.0 MPa).

• The appliance maximum load is 9.0 kg for washing. Do not exceed the maximum load of each programme.

• The appliance must be connected to the water mains using the new supplied hose sets.

• Items that have been soiled with substances such as vegetable or mineral oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, etc., should be washed separately with an extra amount of detergent before being dried.

• Do not dry unwashed items in the wash dryer.

• Items such as foam rubber, shower caps, waterproof textiles, and rubber backed articles should not be dried in the washer dryer.

• Remove all objects from items that could be a source of fire ignition such as lighters or matches.

• Never stop the washer dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and separated so that residual heat can dissipate.

• The final part of the washer dryer cycle is a cool down cycle without heat.

• Before any maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

WARNING! Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts before installing the appliance. Use gloves.

1. Remove the external film. If necessary, use a cutter.

2. Remove the cardboard top and the polystyrene packaging materials.

3. Remove the internal film.

4. Open the door and remove the polystyrene piece from the door seal and all the items from the drum.

5. Carefully put the appliance down on its rear side.

6. Put the front polystyrene packaging element on the floor under the appliance. Make sure not to damage the hoses.

7. Remove the polystyrene protection from the bottom.

8. Pull up the appliance in vertical position.

9. Remove the power supply cable and the drain hose from the hose holders. It is possible to see water flowing from the drain hose due to factory testing.

10. Remove the three transit bolts by using the spanner supplied with the appliance.

11. Pull out the plastic spacers.

12. Put the plastic caps, that you find in the user manual bag, in the holes. We recommend that you keep the packaging and the transit bolts for any future movement of the appliance.

1. Install the appliance on a flat hard floor. Make sure that carpets do not stop the air circulation below the appliance and that the appliance does not touch the wall or other units.

2. Loosen or tighten the feet to adjust the level. A correct adjustment of the appliance level prevents the vibration, noise, and movement of the appliance when in operation. Do not put cardboard, wood, or equivalent materials below the appliance feet to adjust the level.

For installation on suspended wooden floors, it is recommended to place a waterproof wooden panel (at least 15 mm thick) under the appliance, screwed to at least 2 floor beams and extending beyond the front feet.

Water Inlet Hose Connection:

1. Connect the water inlet hose to the back of the appliance.

2. Position it toward the left or right depending on the position of the water tap. Make sure the inlet hose is not in a vertical position.

3. If necessary, loosen the ring nut to set it in the correct position.

4. Connect the water inlet hose to the cold water tap with a 3/4″ thread. The inlet water shall not exceed 25 °C.

Water-stop device: The inlet hose has a water-stop device. If a leak occurs, the red sector in the window «A» will show. If this happens, close the water tap and contact the authorized service centre to replace the hose.

Water Drainage:

The drain hose should be positioned at a height of not less than 60 cm and not more than 100 cm from the floor. You can connect the drain hose in different ways:

• To a sink spigot: Put the drain hose in the spigot and tighten it with a clamp.

• To a stand pipe with vent hole: Insert the drain hose directly into a drain pipe.

• On the edge of a sink: Use the plastic U-shaped guide to hook the hose to the edge of the sink. Fasten the guide to the water tap or to the wall.

Make sure that the drain hose makes a loop to prevent particles from the sink going into the appliance. The end of the drain hose must always be ventilated; its inner diameter must be larger than the external diameter of the drain hose.

1. Programme dial: To select a washing programme.

2. Display: Shows settings, programme duration, and other information.

3. Time Drying touch button: To set a specific drying time.

4. Auto Drying touch button: To select an automatic dryness level.

5. MODE touch button: To select Wash mode or Dry mode.

6. Start/Pause touch button: To start, pause, or interrupt a programme.

7. Options touch button: Activates Stains option. Hold for 3s for permanent Extra Rinse option.

8. Delay Start touch button: To set a delayed start time.

9. Time Save touch button: To reduce the programme duration.

10. Spin touch button: To change the spin speed or select Only Drain/Only Spin. Hold for 3s for child lock option.

11. Temperature touch button: To change the water temperature.

12. On/Off push button: To activate or deactivate the appliance.

• On/Off: Press for a few seconds to activate or deactivate the appliance.

• Temperature: Touch repeatedly to change the default temperature. When indicators for hot and “–” are shown, the appliance does not heat the water (cold wash).

• Spin: Touch repeatedly to change the spin speed. You can also activate:

– Rinse Hold: The water of the last rinse is not drained out to prevent creasing.

– Quiet option: Intermediate and final spinning phases are suppressed.

– drain-only option: Performs only the draining phase.

– spin-only option: Performs only the spinning phase.

• Options: Press repeatedly to activate one of two options:

– Stains: Adds an anti-stain phase for heavily soiled laundry.

– Prewash: Adds a pre-wash phase at 30 °C before the washing phase.

• Delay Start: Touch repeatedly to delay the start of a programme from 30 minutes up to 20 hours.

• Time Save: Touch once to shorten the duration for normally or lightly soiled laundry. Touch twice for a smaller load to set an extra quick programme.

• Time Drying: Touch to set a specific drying time. Each touch increases the time by 5 minutes.

• Auto Drying: Touch to set one of 3 automatic dryness levels: Iron dry, Cupboard dry, or Extra dry.

• MODE: Selects the cycle type:

– Only washing: Wash indicator is on.

– Washing and drying: Wash and Dry indicators are on.

– Only drying: Dry indicator is on.

• Start/Pause: Touch to start, pause, or interrupt a running programme.

At temperatures higher than 60 °C, the use of powder detergent is recommended.

Automatic Drying Levels:

Timed Drying (Suggested Durations):

1. Make sure that all transit bolts have been removed from the appliance.

2. Make sure that the electrical power is available and the water tap is open.

3. Pour 2 litres of water into the main wash detergent compartment (marked with a wash symbol).

4. Pour a small quantity of detergent into the same compartment.

5. Set and start a programme for cotton at the highest temperature without any laundry in the drum.

This process removes any possible dirt from the drum and the tub.

Child Lock:

To prevent children from playing with the control panel, touch and hold the Spin button until the child lock indicator comes on/goes off on the display. You can activate this option after touching Start/Pause to lock all buttons and the dial, or before touching Start/Pause to prevent the appliance from starting.

Acoustic Signals:

To deactivate the acoustic signals that sound when a programme is completed, touch the Options and the Delay Start buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds.

Permanent Extra Rinse:

To permanently have an extra rinse when you set a new programme, hold the Options button pressed for 3 seconds until the indicator comes on the display. To deactivate it, repeat the same action until the indicator goes off.

1. Activate the appliance: Connect the mains plug, open the water tap, and press the On/Off button for a few seconds.

2. Load the laundry: Open the appliance door, shake items before putting them in, and place laundry in the drum one item at a time. Close the door firmly, ensuring no laundry is caught between the seal and the door.

3. Fill detergent and additives: Pull out the detergent dispenser. Use the flap in the main wash compartment UP for powder detergent and DOWN for liquid detergent. Add detergent to the main wash compartment, prewash detergent to the prewash compartment if needed, and fabric conditioner to the conditioner compartment (do not exceed MAX level). Close the dispenser drawer.

4. Set a programme: Turn the programme dial to select the desired programme. The display will show the default settings.

5. Select options: Touch the relevant buttons to change temperature, spin speed, or add options like Prewash or Delay Start.

6. Start the programme: Touch the Start/Pause button. The appliance will start the ProSense load detection, where it weighs the laundry and adjusts the programme duration accordingly. The programme will then begin.

7. End of programme: The appliance stops automatically. When the cycle is finished, the display shows 0. The door unlocks. Press the On/Off button to deactivate the appliance. Remove the laundry and close the water tap.

1. After loading laundry and detergent, press the On/Off button to activate the appliance.

2. Turn the programme dial to the desired washing programme.

3. Set any desired wash options.

4. Touch the MODE button once to activate the drying function. The Wash and Dry indicators will come on.

5. Choose a drying level:

– Automatic levels: Tap the Auto Drying button repeatedly to select the required dryness level (Iron dry, Cupboard dry, Extra dry).

– Timed Drying: Tap the Time Drying button repeatedly to set the desired drying time.

6. Touch the Start/Pause button to start the programme. The display shows the total duration for both washing and drying.

7. At the end of the programme, the appliance stops automatically. Remove the laundry promptly. After the drying phase, it’s good practice to clean the drum, the seal, and the inside of the door with a wet cloth.

1. Press the On/Off button to activate the appliance.

2. Load the laundry one item at a time. Ensure the load is uniformly distributed in the drum.

3. Turn the programme dial to a programme suitable for the items to dry (e.g., Cottons, Synthetics).

4. Tap the MODE button twice to exclude washing and perform drying only. The Dry indicator will turn on.

5. Choose a drying level:

– Automatic levels: Tap the Auto Drying button repeatedly until the display shows the required dryness level (Iron dry, Cupboard dry, Extra dry).

– Timed Drying: Tap the Time Drying button repeatedly to set the desired drying time.

6. Touch the Start/Pause button to start the drying programme. The display will show the programme duration.

7. At the end of the programme, the appliance stops. Remove the laundry and clean the inside of the door and seal with a wet cloth.

During the washing and/or drying phase, some types of fabric like sponge, wool, or sweatshirts can release fluff, which may stick to other fabrics in the next cycle.

To prevent fluff in your laundry:

• Do not wash dark fabrics after you have washed and dried light-coloured fabrics (like hand towels, wool, sweatshirts), and vice versa.

• Dry these types of fabrics in the open air the first time they are washed.

• Clean the drain filter regularly.

• After a drying phase, clean the empty drum, the gasket, and the door with a wet cloth.

To remove fluff inside the drum:

The appliance has a special cleaning function (CLE) to remove fluff.

1. Empty the drum.

2. Clean the drum, the gasket, and the door with a wet cloth.

3. Set the Rinse programme.

4. Simultaneously press the Spin and the Time Save buttons until the display shows CLE to activate the cleaning function.

5. Touch the Start/Pause button to start the programme. If the appliance is frequently used, carry out the CLE programme regularly.

WARNING! Always disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.

Periodic Cleaning Schedule:

• Clean door seal: Every two months
• Clean drum: Every two months
• Remove fluff inside the drum: Twice a month
• Clean detergent dispenser: Every two months
• Clean drain pump filter: Twice a year
• Clean inlet hose and valve filter: Twice a year
• Descaling: Twice a year (if in a hard water area)
• Maintenance wash: Once a month

Cleaning Procedures:

• External cleaning: Clean with mild soap and warm water only. Fully dry all surfaces.

• Door seal: Regularly examine the seal. Coins, buttons, and other small items can be recovered from the double lip trap at the end of the cycle. Clean when needed with an ammonia cream cleanser.

• Detergent dispenser: Open the drawer, press the catch downwards and pull it out. Remove the top part of the additive compartment. Flush the drawer under running warm water. Insert it back into the guide rails.

• Drain pump filter:

1. Open the pump cover.

2. Place a suitable bowl below to collect water.

3. Turn the filter 180 degrees anti-clockwise to open it without removing. Let the water flow out.

4. Once the bowl is full, turn the filter back and empty the container. Repeat until water stops flowing.

5. Turn the filter anti-clockwise to remove it completely.

6. Clean the filter under a water tap. Remove any objects from the filter recess.

7. Put the filter back and tighten it clockwise. Close the pump cover.

• Inlet hose and valve filter:

1. Remove the inlet hose from the tap and clean the filter inside.

2. Remove the inlet hose from the appliance by loosening the ring nut.

3. Clean the valve filter on the back of the appliance with a toothbrush.

4. Reconnect the hose.

WARNING! Deactivate the appliance before carrying out any check.

Other Problems:

In case of a power failure or functioning failure, the appliance door remains locked. It is possible to open it using the emergency unlock function.

Before opening the door:

• CAUTION! Risk of burns! Make sure the water temperature is not too high and the laundry is not hot.

• CAUTION! Risk of injury! Make sure the drum is not rotating.

• Make sure that the water level inside the drum is not too high. If necessary, perform an emergency drain first.

To open the door:

1. Press the On/Off button to switch the appliance off.

2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

3. Open the filter flap.

4. Pull the emergency unlock trigger downward once. Pull it downward once again, keep it tensed and, in the meanwhile, open the appliance door.

5. Take out the laundry and then close the appliance door.

6. Close the filter flap.
