The ZELMER ZCK7620B electric kettle consists of the following components:

1. Water level indicator

2. Lid

3. ON/OFF switch

4. Limescale filter (removable)

Please adhere to the following safety instructions when using your ZELMER ZCK7620B:

– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

– This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

– Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

– Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

– Children shall not play with the appliance.

– This appliance is intended for household use. It is not intended for use in applications such as staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential environments, or bed and breakfast type environments.

– Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

– If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

– The appliance is only to be used with the stand provided.

– Warning: avoid spillage on the connector.

– Warning: potential injury from misuse!

– The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

– Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning.

– Always remove the plug from the mains before cleaning the kettle.

– Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents such as emulsions, creams, pastes, etc. for cleaning the kettle.

– Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label.

– The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use.

– Do not use the device, or connect and disconnect it from the supply mains with wet hands and/or feet.

– Do not pull on the connection cord to unplug it or use it as a handle.

– Only fill the kettle with water. Milk and instant beverages will burn and damage the appliance. Never operate the kettle without water and do not overfill it; observe the min and max markings. If the kettle is too full, the water will boil over!

– Do not put the jug on a stove or in a microwave for re-heating of water.

– Always place the kettle on a stable, smooth, flat surface; the power cord must not hang loosely off the edge of a table or touch a heated surface.

– Do not use the kettle with the lid open.

– Do not remove the lid when the water is boiling.

– If the internal electrical elements are flooded with water, make sure the kettle is completely dry before plugging it in.

– Do not move the kettle while it is switched on.

Before first use, make sure that all of the product’s packaging has been removed. Before heating water for the first time, we recommend using the ZELMER ZCK7620B twice in order to clean the system.

1. Fill the kettle with fresh water through the open lid.

2. Read the quantity on the water level indicator. Do not fill less than the minimum and maximum marks indicated.

3. Close the lid until it locks and place the kettle on the base.

4. Press down the switch; the switch will light up and the water will begin to heat.

5. The kettle switches off automatically once the water is boiled.

The appliance can also be switched off at any time by pulling up the ON/OFF switch.

Warning: If you remove the kettle from the base and replace it before the heating process is over, the kettle will continue to heat the water.

Only operate the kettle with the lid closed and the limescale filter inserted.

After boiling, let the kettle cool down for 5 minutes before refilling it with water.

Do not turn on the appliance if the kettle is empty; otherwise, the overheat control will engage and the appliance will switch itself off automatically.

1. Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

2. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth when the kettle is wet; never use metal polish.

3. Remove the limescale filter, soak it in a little vinegar, then rinse it clean with clear water.

4. Never use a dishwasher to clean any parts from the machine.

5. Rinse the kettle and the limescale filter with clear water.

6. Put the water kettle in a dry and not very hot place.

Regular descaling makes your ZELMER ZCK7620B last longer, ensures proper function, and saves energy. Descale the kettle with vinegar or a commercial descaling agent.

1. Fill the kettle with water up to the max mark and bring it to a boil.

2. Next, add a small amount of white vinegar and let it sit for a couple of hours. You can also use a commercial descaling product and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Rinse the kettle with clear water.

If you use the kettle daily, descale more frequently.

This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices, known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Do not dispose of this product in the bin; instead, take it to the electrical and electronic waste collection center closest to your home.
