2. Remove connector which is projected out of circuit board located at inside of front panel.
3. Remove 6 screws, then remove the unit trying to pull the front panel toward you.
4. Remove 1 plastic rivet.

Remove 6 screws and remove the panel sliding it to the side.

What precaution should I take when removing the wood panel?

Remove both left and right wood panels with the same removal procedure. Also, if you removed the wood panel, the strength weakens.

In order to stabilize the operation of the Amplifier, conduct the adjustment after having done 3 minutes aging under no-load status.

Where should I measure and adjust for idling of the Main Circuit Board?

Measure the Electric Current at TP1 – TP2 (Both L & R). Adjust VR101 (Both L & R) to DC60mV-5mV.

Where should I measure and adjust the distortion rate for Digital D/A Converter adjustment?

Measure at the Selector 2 Circuit Board. Adjust VR401 (L) and VR402 ® so as to be the best condition with a 1kHz 0dB Signal.

What are the steps for the Adjustment of Digital D/A Converter?

1. Use 20 kHz LPF.
2. Switch on Digital Direct.
3. Let the Main Volume be the minimum.
4. Set REC OUT SELECTOR at the position of SOURCE REC and measure output (analogue) of REC OUT.
5. For the Input, input Digital Signal of 1kHz 0dB to DIGITAL CD INPUT Terminal. (CD Player with DIGITAL OUT is connected with it).
6. Digital Signal from either CD or TAPE 1/DAT 1 Terminal chosen by INPUT SELECTOR has to be outputting to DIGITAL OUT Terminal.
7. Rated Input is 0.5+0.1VP-P, and Impedance of Signal Source is R" =75 Q.
8. Rated Output is 0.5-0.1VP-P (when its load is 75 Q).
