To mount the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4237 using the desk clamp, follow these steps:

Step 1. Attach the clamp plate (A) to the underside of the main clamp and pole base (B) using four screws (H). You will need the H5 Allen key, which can be found stored in the VESA mounting plate (E C501).

Step 2. Place the assembled clamp onto the edge of your desk. Ensure your desk is no thicker than 66 mm.

Step 3. Tighten the clamp from underneath the desk until it is securely fastened.

Step 4. Slide the protective cover down over the clamp mechanism.

To mount the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4237 using the grommet mount, follow these steps:

Step 1. If your desk does not have a cable hole, drill a 9mm (Ø9mm) hole through the desk. The desk thickness must be a maximum of 45 mm.

Step 2. Place the pole base (B) over the hole on top of the desk.

Step 3. From underneath the desk, insert the grommet bolt (K) up through the grommet plate (J) and the desk hole, and screw it into the base (B).

Step 4. Place the washer (L) onto the bolt from underneath, then secure it tightly with the wingnut (M).

Important Note: Before tightening, ensure the base is oriented correctly. The opening for the arms should be rotated 90 degrees to the side, as indicated in the “DUAL ARM” diagram.

After mounting the pole and base to the desk, follow these steps to assemble the dual arms:

Step 1. Slide the dual arm collar (P C201) onto the main pole (B C140). Set it to your desired height and tighten the screw using the Allen key (O) to lock it in place.

Step 2. Place the two lower arm sections (C C320) onto the mounting points of the dual arm collar.

Step 3. Attach the two upper arm sections with gas springs (D C327) onto the ends of the lower arm sections.

Step 4. Finally, attach the two VESA mounting plates (E C501) to the ends of the upper arm sections.

To attach your monitor to the arm, follow these steps:

Step 1. Identify the VESA mounting pattern on the back of your monitor.

Step 2. Place the VESA mounting plate (E) on the back of your monitor, ensuring the arrow marked “TOP” is pointing upwards.

Step 3. Secure the plate to the monitor using four of the provided monitor mounting screws (N).

Step 4. Carefully lift the monitor and slide the attached VESA plate down onto the head of the monitor arm.

Step 5. Push down firmly until you hear a “CLICK,” which indicates the monitor is securely locked in place.

If your monitor tilts too freely or is too stiff to tilt, you can adjust the tilt friction. Use an Allen key on the adjustment screw located on the side of the tilting head mechanism. Turn the screw clockwise to increase friction (for heavier monitors or to prevent drooping) or counter-clockwise to decrease friction (to make tilting easier).

To ensure your monitor stays at the height you set it, you need to adjust the gas spring balance to match the monitor’s weight. Follow these steps for each arm:

Step 1. Attach your monitor to the arm.

Step 2. Move the arm to a horizontal (90-degree) position.

Step 3. Locate the adjustment screw (F) on the upper arm section (D).

Step 4. Use the provided H5 Allen key for adjustment:

If the monitor is heavy and drifts downward: Turn the adjustment screw clockwise (towards the ‘+’ symbol) to increase the tension.

If the monitor is light and rises up on its own: Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (towards the ‘-‘ symbol) to decrease the tension.

Step 5. Continue adjusting until the monitor stays in place when you let go.

The VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4237 features integrated cable management. Follow these steps to route your monitor cables:

Step 1. On the lower arm section (C C320), pull open the cable management cover.

Step 2. Place your cables inside the channel and snap the cover closed.

Step 3. Route the cables along the channel on the underside of the upper arm section (D C327).

Step 4. Continue routing the cables down along the main pole to create a clean and organized setup.

To change the overall height of the monitor arms on the central pole, follow these instructions:

Step 1. For safety and ease of adjustment, first remove the monitors and arms from the dual arm collar.

Step 2. Use the provided Allen key (O) to loosen the screw on the back of the dual arm collar (P C201).

Step 3. Slide the collar up or down the pole to your desired height.

Step 4. Once in position, tighten the screw firmly to secure the collar.

Step 5. Re-attach the monitor arms to the collar.
