The VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138 includes the following main components:

To mount the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138 using the desk clamp, for desks with a maximum thickness of 66 mm, follow these steps:

Step 1. Attach the clamp bracket (A) to the underside of the desk clamp base (B).

Step 2. Secure the bracket from the bottom using the 3 provided screws.

Step 3. Tighten the 4 set screws (H) on the side of the clamp bracket to set its position.

Step 4. Place the assembled base onto the edge of your desk.

Step 5. Turn the knob on top of the base clockwise to tighten the clamp securely against the underside of your desk.

To mount the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138 through a hole in your desk (grommet mount), follow these instructions. This method is for desks with a thickness between 35 mm and 45 mm.

Step 1. Ensure you have a hole in your desk with a 9mm diameter.

Step 2. Place the desk base (B) over the hole on your desk surface.

Step 3. From underneath the desk, insert the bolt (J) through the bottom plate (K).

Step 4. Guide the bolt up through the hole in the desk and into the base.

Step 5. Secure the assembly by tightening the M13 bolt (M) with its washer (L) from underneath the desk.

After the base is secured to your desk, assemble the arm of the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138 as follows:

Step 1. Place the lower arm section (C) onto the post of the desk base (B).

Step 2. Place the upper arm section (D) onto the post of the lower arm section.

Step 3. Place the VESA mount plate (E) onto the post at the end of the upper arm section.

Step 1. First, attach the VESA mount plate (E) to the back of your monitor. Ensure the side marked “TOP” is oriented correctly at the top of the monitor.

Step 2. Use the four provided screws (N) to securely fasten the plate to the monitor’s VESA mounting holes.

Step 3. Carefully lift your monitor and align the attached VESA plate with the head of the monitor arm.

Step 4. Lower the monitor onto the arm until it locks into place with an audible “CLICK”.

To adjust how easily your monitor tilts on the VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138, you can adjust the tilt friction:

Step 1. Locate the adjustment screw on the side of the monitor mount head.

Step 2. Use a suitable tool to turn the screw.

Step 3. Tighten the screw (towards the ‘+’ symbol) to increase friction, making the monitor harder to tilt and hold a heavier screen in place.

Step 4. Loosen the screw to decrease friction, making the monitor easier to tilt.

To ensure the arm of your VOGEL’S MOMO MOTION+ (MOTIONPLUS) 4138 can hold your monitor at any height, you must adjust the spring balance:

Step 1. Locate the balance adjustment screw (F) on the main joint of the upper arm section (D).

Step 2. Use the provided H5 Allen key to turn the screw.

Step 3. For a heavier monitor, turn the screw towards the ‘+’ symbol to increase the spring tension.

Step 4. For a lighter monitor, you may also need to adjust the tension. Turn the screw until the arm holds the monitor’s position without drifting up or down on its own.
