Step 4 is to plug in your Deco. Power off your modem. Connect your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 to the modem and power them both on. If you don’t have a modem, connect your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 directly to the Ethernet outlet.

Step 5 is to wait until the Deco’s LED pulses blue. Wait until your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65’s LED pulses blue, then your phone/tablet will connect to the Deco’s default Wi-Fi automatically.

Step 6 is to specify your Deco’s location. Select or custom a location for your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65. The location will be used as the name of your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65.

This increases network speed and reduces latency. If you want to connect to the 6 GHz network, please connect your 6 GHz clients to the MLO network.

Step 10 is to keep your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 up-to-date. Set an auto update time. This allows your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 to automatically update to the latest firmware which provides better network experience. If the TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 detects anyone is using the internet at the time, the update will be rescheduled for the next day.

Step 11 is to connect your phone/tablet to the TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65’s Wi-Fi to continue the setup.

Step 12 is setup complete. Your TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 network is now up. You can connect your devices to the TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 network.

Step 13 is to add more TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 units. Plug in the other included TP-LINK BE11000 DECO BE65 units, and they will automatically join the network within 2 minutes.
