How do I set the bobbin case?
1. Set threaded bobbin in bobbin case and pull the thread out of the tension spring.
2. Put the bobbin case on the bobbin case set position.
3. The pointed-end of the bobbin case Latch or Stopper has to meet the groove (A) or (B) of the Thread Guide.
How do I pull the thread to measure tension?
After setting the bobbin case, the instructions are the same for all types.
After threading through No.1 and No.2 pulley, pull the thread lightly to the direction of the ARROW. At the same time, check the graduations of the Gauge Indicator.
How do I adjust the thread tension?
If the thread tension is too strong or weak, adjust the tension by turning the tension adjusting screw to the right (stronger) or left (weaker).
How do I cut the thread after measurement?
After measuring and adjusting the thread tension, cut out the odd thread with the Thread Cutter (C), pressing the odd thread of No.2 pulley with your finger.
What other instructions should I follow when using the device?
1. As this device is a precise measuring apparatus carefully tested and adjusted, please do not drop, hit it against another body or disassemble it.
2. There are several adjustments necessary for garment sewing. Among them, the measuring of thread tension of the under thread in the bobbin case is required before starting any sewing work when the thread or cloth or material to be sewn is changed into a different one.
