Where is video recorded to?
Video is recorded to the installed micro SD card, not the camera itself. You will be unable to save recorded video without a micro SD card (class 4 or higher).
What happens if you format your micro SD card?
If you format your card, back up any file on the card. Formatting will erase all existing files on the micro SD card.
How do you install the Micro SD card?
- Remove the plastic protective cover on the left side of the camera.
- Insert and gently press the micro SD card into the micro SD card slot until it clicks into place. Make sure the metal contacts are facing you from the back of the camera.
- Return the protective cover so that it seals the side of the camera again.
The card can only go in one way. If there is any resistance, check that it is being put in correctly.
How do you charge the camera?
To charge your camera, attach one end of the micro USB cable to the camera and the other end to your computer or USB charging device.
How do you navigate the camera menus?
To navigate the camera menus use the [_.], [T], [MENU], [MODE], and \ buttons.
How do you set the date and time?
In any mode (except Playback Mode), press the [MENU] button repeatedly until you reach the last submenu called “Date”. If enabled, the date/time will be displayed on all video recorded in Video, Car, and Photo Mode. You can also set the date/time in this submenu. To set the date use the[.&.] and [T] buttons to change the date and use the [MENU] button to confirm the selection. Press the [O] button to exit when finished.

- Language: Set the camera’s language.

- Loop Recording: With Loop Recording, once max capacity is reached on your installed micro SD card, the camera will begin erasing files taken after X minutes, where X is the time set in the Loop Recording submenu.
How do you set the Loop Recording time?
To set the Loop Recording time, use the[.&.] and [" ] buttons to select the time, then press the [MODE] button to exit the submenu or the [MENU] button to go to the next submenu.
How do you take a photo in Photo Mode?
To take a photo, press the [O] button.

- Image Quality: Change the image quality of your photos. A lower quality photo will take up less space on the installed micro SD card, allowing you to take more pictures before reaching max capacity.

- Protect: Allows you to protect individual photos or videos from being deleted.
- Delete: Deletes the current photo or video being reviewed.
How do you attach the waterproof case?
Unlatch the cl ip on the side of the waterproof case. Place the camera in t he case so that the lens fi ts into the lens slot and the button plungers are lined up with the buttons.
What buttons are inaccessible when the camera is in the waterproof case?

How waterproof is the camera when properly sealed in its waterproof case?

How do you assemble and use the helmet mount?
- a) Thread the strap through one of the vents on your helmet and out through another. b) Thread one end of t he strap into an inner slot on the mount’s base. Do the same for t he other side. c) Thread the strap through an outer slot on the mount ‘s base, adjusting as necessary. Do the same for the other side. d) Pull each end taut and secure with plast ic clips (included with strap).
- Slide the cl ip onto the base until it locks into place and feels secure.
- Screw th e camera attachment into the tripod slot and screw onto the clip.
How do you assemble and use the bike mount?
- Unscrew the two knobs on the bottom of the bike mount and remove the U-bar from the mount.
- Place the mount on the handlebar and hook the U-bar around the bicycle’s hand lebar then back through the holes on the mount.
- Screw t he knobs back into the U-bar and tighten until the mount feels secure and immovable.
- To adjust the position of the camera, loosen the top knob on the mount to change the left-right position and loosen the side knob to adjust the up-down posit ion.
How do you upload files to a computer?
Attach the small end of the micro USB cable to the camera’s micro USB port and attach the large end to your computer. The computer may need to install some drivers so that it can interact with the camera. If prompted to instal l, hit YES or OK. When ready, the camera wi ll appea r in your Devices fo lder or window (please consult your computer or operating system’s user manual fo r further assistance). From here, you can access and save any photos or videos t hat you have recorded to t he insta lled micro SD card. When you are fi nished, EJECT THE CAMERA from t he Devices window or contro l panel before detaching the micro USB cable.
How do you connect the camera to a TV?
To connect the camera to a TV, attach the A/V cable to the AUX j ack on the side of the camera. Attach t he white and yellow connectors to the input jacks on t he TV to their correspond ing colors (the white cable carries mono audio and the yellow cable ca rries video). Turn your TV ON and tune it to your A/V input, then power your camera ON and switch it to Playback mode. Please consult your TV’s user manual for further assistance on attaching the A/V cables to the correct input and tuning to that input.
