1. Attach the microphone’s integral stand mount to a compatible microphone stand.

The microphone features an integral stand mount for attaching to a stand. The mount allows the microphone’s angle to be adjusted up to 180 degrees relative to the stand connection point.

To clean the sound inlet basket and foam:

1. Unscrew the sound inlet basket from the microphone body.

2. Carefully remove the foam insert from the basket.

3. Rinse the foam insert under clean, running water.

4. Allow the foam insert to air dry completely.

5. Once dry, place the foam insert back into the sound inlet basket.

6. Screw the sound inlet basket back onto the microphone body.

To clean the microphone body, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth.

The XLR-3 connector follows the standard wiring assignment:

Pin 1: Ground

Pin 2: Audio + (Positive)

Pin 3: Audio – (Negative)

This configuration supports standard balanced connections. When using adapters or cables for unbalanced connections (e.g., to a 6.3 mm TS jack), Pin 1 (Ground) is typically connected to the sleeve, Pin 2 (Positive) is connected to the tip, and Pin 3 (Negative) is often linked to Pin 1 or left unconnected, depending on the adapter/cable design.

The e 602 II microphone has a cardioid pick-up pattern. This means it is most sensitive to sound arriving from the front and less sensitive to sound arriving from the sides and rear.

The frequency response range of the e 602 II microphone is 20 Hz to 16,000 Hz.
