How do I install the battery in the SK 9000 bodypack transmitter?

To install the BA 61 or B 61 battery pack (ordered separately) into the SK 9000 transmitter:

1. Open the battery compartment on the side of the unit.

2. Insert the battery pack as shown in the diagram.

3. Close the battery compartment lid until it clicks shut.


How do I install the battery in the SKM 9000 handheld microphone?

To install the BA 60 or B 60 battery pack (ordered separately) into the SKM 9000 microphone:

1. Unscrew the lower section of the microphone body to open the battery compartment.

2. Insert the battery pack.

3. Screw the lower section back onto the microphone body until it clicks into place.


How can I check the battery status?

The battery status is displayed in several ways:

On the SK 9000 Bodypack: A “LOW BATT” light will illuminate when the battery is low.

On the Display Screen: The home screen shows a battery icon with a time remaining estimate (e.g., 4:10). For BA 60/B 60 and BA 61/B 61 batteries, the system shows a graphical representation of the charge level:

How do I set up the SK 9000 transmitter with a microphone?

Connect the microphone cable to the 3-pin SE input on the top of the SK 9000 bodypack transmitter.


How do I attach a microphone capsule to the SKM 9000 microphone?

Align the Sennheiser standard capsule interface on the microphone capsule with the top of the SKM 9000 body and screw it on until it is secure.


How do I turn the transmitter on or off?

To turn the transmitter on, press and hold the On/Off button.

To turn the transmitter off, press and hold the On/Off button.


What are the functions of the main control buttons?

The transmitters have the following control buttons:

ON/OFF ESC: Turns the device on or off (long press). Acts as an “Escape” or “Back” button in menus. Also used to engage the lock.

UP / DOWN: Navigates up or down through menus and changes values.

SET: Confirms a selection or enters a submenu.


What information is displayed on the home screen?

The home screen can display various information, including:

Frequency: The current operating frequency (e.g., 637.250 MHz).

Battery: Remaining battery life, often shown in hours and minutes.

Preset: The name of the selected preset (e.g., U).

Name: A custom name for the transmitter (e.g., LINK S).

Transmission Mode: The current transmission mode (e.g., LR).

Encryption: An icon indicating if encryption is active.

How do I change the transmission frequency?

2. Navigate to the “Tune” menu option (MHz icon).

3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the frequency to the desired value (e.g., from 637.250 MHz to 638.250 MHz).

4. Press SET to confirm the new frequency. Press ESC to cancel without saving.


How does the Auto Lock feature work?

The Auto Lock feature prevents accidental button presses.

To manually lock: From the home screen, press the ON/OFF/ESC button. The screen will display “LOCKED”.

To unlock: While the screen shows “LOCKED”, press the UP or DOWN button, then press the SET button. The screen will show “UNLOCK”.

Automatic lock: The device will automatically lock itself after 10 seconds of inactivity on the home screen.
