No. RML1200s are inductive dimmers, and are not generally recommended for use with mains dimmable LEDs.

What are the loading specifications for the RML-1200?

  • Minimum: 20W
  • Maximum: 1200W
  • Low-voltage transformer loads (leading edge only): 1080W (de-rate by 10%)
  • Mains voltage LEDs: Not Recommended

Where should RML1200 modules be mounted?

RML1200 modules should be mounted in areas that are:

  • Adequately ventilated

How do you replace the cover?

Replace the cover and replace the screws.

What should happen when power is initially connected to the module?

The load should power up to full brightness.

What can the clear button be used for?

The clear button can be used as a manual on/off switch to test the circuit.

What does it mean when the internal LED behind the clear button flickers?

The internal LED behind the clear button will flicker when the module receives ANY Rako wireless message and is a useful diagnostic indicator.

How long does the internal LED flicker for?

This function becomes inactive after 20 minutes to avoid a nuisance light spill.

How can you reactivate the internal LED?

It can be re-activated by pressing the clear button.

What should be done if the module does not respond to any of the above?

Should the module not respond to any of the above, further investigation must be made before proceeding any further.

Once the RML-1200 has powered up and has been tested working with the setup button, the device is ready to be programmed.

Where can I find instructions on how to program the RML-1200?

For instructions on how to program the RML-1200, see the Wireless Module Setup Guide.

What does it mean when the LED has good wireless reception?

When the unit is receiving successfully, there will be four rapid pulses on the LED when any wireless message is sent.

What does it mean when the LED has bad wireless reception?
