Please follow these rules for safe operation of your PELONIS PFS40A4BWW:

1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when the fan is running.

2. Disconnect the fan when moving it from one location to another.

3. Disconnect the fan when removing grilles for cleaning.

4. Be sure the fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.

5. Do not use the fan in a window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.

6. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the grille.

The PELONIS PFS40A4BWW has a polarized plug, where one blade is wider than the other. This plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way to reduce the risk of electric shock. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

1. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

2. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard the fan or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

3. Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.

To assemble the base of the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW, align the column (pole) with the groove on the base. Then, fix them together using the right-angle bolt provided.

Follow these steps to install the guards and blade on your PELONIS PFS40A4BWW:

1. **Attach the Rear Grill:** Place the rear grill onto the motor shaft, ensuring it is properly aligned. Secure it by screwing the lock nut of the grill clockwise.

2. **Install the Blade:** Slide the fan blade onto the motor shaft. Gently pull the blade to rotate it, ensuring it can move freely.

3. **Secure the Blade:** Screw the lock nut of the blade counter-clockwise (anticlockwise) to tighten it and secure the blade in place.

4. **Attach the Front Grill:** Align the screw holes on the outer ring of both the front and rear guards. Ensure the positioning clip is aligned as illustrated in the manual.

5. **Secure the Front Grill:** Press down all the buckles around the edge to fasten the front guard to the rear guard. At the screw holes, tighten the separated screw and nut to fully secure the assembly.

The remote controller for the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW has the following keys:

“ON/OFF” key: Press to turn the fan on or off.

“SPEED” key: Press to cycle through the different fan speed settings.

“TIMER” key: Press to set the auto-off timer.

The effective range of the remote control is within 5 meters distance and a 30-degree deflection in front of the fan.

The display panel on the body of the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW has two sets of indicators:

Speed display: These lights indicate the current fan speed you have selected.

Timer display: These lights (1h, 2h, 4h) indicate the duration set for the auto-off timer. The total time is the sum of the lit indicators (e.g., if 1h and 2h are lit, the timer is set for 3 hours).

The control panel on the fan body has three keys:

ON/OFF: Press to turn the fan on or off.

SPEED: Press to cycle through the available speed settings.

TIMER: Press to set the auto-off timer.

To control the horizontal swing of the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW, use the Swing Pull-knob located on top of the motor housing:

To start oscillation (swing): Push the knob down.

To stop oscillation (static): Pull the knob up.

To adjust the tilt of the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW, manually and gently push the fan guard up or down to your desired angle.

To adjust the height of the PELONIS PFS40A4BWW, locate the Height Adjustment Key (locking collar) on the main pole. Turn the collar counterclockwise to loosen it. Adjust the pole to your desired height, and then turn the collar clockwise to tighten it and lock the height in place.

Follow these steps to replace the fuse in your PELONIS PFS40A4BWW:

a) Grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

b) Open the fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the plug towards the blades.

c) Remove the fuse carefully. Insert the tip of a tool into the fuse slot (close to the terminal) and pry the fuse out gradually. If it feels tight, try prying from one side a little at a time until the fuse is entirely out.

d) Risk of fire. Replace the fuse only with a 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.

e) Close the fuse cover. Slide the fuse access cover closed on top of the plug.

f) Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug itself as it contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.

When you replace the fuse, please do not operate suddenly or overexert, or else the product will be damaged or cause an accident. If you feel it is hard to operate, please make sure you have got the right way.

1. Be sure to unplug the fan from the electrical supply source before cleaning.

2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. Thoroughly remove soap film with clean water.

3. Be sure not to let water or other liquid enter the inside of the motor.
