How do I reset the smart camera?

To reset the smart camera, long press the “reset” hole for 5 seconds. Reset will be successful.


What type of Micro SD card is recommended and why?

It is recommended to insert an 8-64GB high-speed Micro SD card. Without it, the camera will not be able to store or view historical video and will not support important functions such as firmware upgrading.


How to install and register the Smart Life APP?

To download and install the APP, scan the QR code provided in the user manual.

To register and login, open the “Smart Life” APP and follow the prompts.


How to add the device using Scan QR code mode?

1. Make sure Wi-Fi is available and connected to the Internet.

2. Connect the camera to the power. The system startup will then be completed.

3. Open the “Smart Life” APP, press the ‘+’ in the upper right corner of the main screen.

4. Choose “Security & Sensor” and click “Smart Camera” to add the camera.

5. Click “Next step”.

6. If your mobile phone is not connected to Wi-Fi, click “Connect to Wi-Fi”. It will jump to the WLAN interface. Connect to a Wi-Fi network (only 2.4 GH Wi-Fi network is supported). If your phone is already connected to Wi-Fi, proceed to the next step.

7. Click “Confirm”. This will jump to an interface prompting you to scan the QR code with the camera. Click “Continue”.

8. A QR code will appear on your screen. Scan it with the Smart Camera (position the camera about 20-30 cm away from the mobile phone lens).

9. After the camera scans the code, click “hear the prompt sound”.

10. The app will show “connecting”. When the progress reaches 100%, the connection is completed. Click “Finish”.

11. The interface will jump to the preview interface.

12. After closing the device preview interface, the app returns to the home page. The connected device will appear on the APP home page. You can then click directly on the device interface to view the monitoring situation without re-adding.


How to add the device using AP Mode?

1. If you want to use AP Mode, press the reset button on the machine.

2. Make sure Wi-Fi is available and connected to the Internet.

3. Connect the camera to the power. The system startup will then be completed.

4. Open the “Smart Life” APP, press the ‘+’ in the upper right corner of the main screen.

5. Choose “Security & Sensor” and click “Smart Camera” to add the camera. Alternatively, choose “other ways” to add.

6. Click “hot spot configuration”.

7. Click “compatibility mode” and then click “Next”.

8. Click “change Network”.

9. Enter the password to complete the connection.

10. Click Back and return to the APP compatible mode interface, where the Wi-Fi name and the connected Wi-Fi name are displayed. Click the “Confirm” button.

11. The page will jump to where the interface prompts “Wi-fi” to connect to the device hotspot. Click “Connect”.

12. The interface jumps to the WLAN connection interface. Find the Wi-Fi beginning with “Smart Lifi” and click on the connection.

13. When the connection is completed, click back and return to the APP interface. The APP display device will show as connected.

14. At this time, the device has been successfully connected. The interface jumps to “Add Device Successful”.

15. Click “connected”. This will jump to the Preview Interface of the Device.

16. Close the device preview interface and the interface returns to the APP home page. The connected device will appear on the APP home page. After entering the device interface to view, there is no need to re-add; simply click directly into the device interface to view.


What are the features of the APP video browsing interface?

The APP video browsing interface includes the following features:

Other buttons include Screenshot, Speak, Record, Playback, Direction, and Alarm.


What matters need attention when using the camera?

1. Try to keep away from metal spaces.

2. Avoid furniture or microwave ovens blocking the signal.

3. Avoid spaces where audio, video, and data lines are wound. Keep as much space as possible away from them.

4. Ensure that the camera is as close as possible to the coverage of wireless Wi-Fi signals.

5. When switching network environments, please press the reset hole for about 5 seconds, then connect to the new network.
