Before installing the lights, follow these steps:

1. Connect all components together. Optional extension cables may be used.

2. Connect the system to a power outlet after all components are connected.

3. Test to ensure the lights turn on.

1. Download the Nanoleaf App.

2. Pair the Nanoleaf lights with the app prior to installation.

3. Ensure that your mobile device is within 10m/30ft of the controller during pairing.

Ensure your outlet is within the Wi-Fi range of your home. Assure the socket is a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

Mounting the PSU is optional. If you choose to mount it:

1. Drill pilot holes first if necessary (Diameter 2mm | 5/64”).

2. Use two screws to secure the PSU to the surface.

Mounting the Controller is optional. If you choose to mount it:

1. Drill holes first if necessary (Diameter 2mm | 5/64”).

2. Secure the controller mount with two screws.

3. Snap the controller into the mount.

The controller has three buttons with the following functions:

Top Button: Power

Middle Button: Scene

Bottom Button: Brightness

The recommended distance from the wall or surface edge is 5–10cm (2–4”).

1. Clean the installation surface.

2. Peel the protective film off the adhesive backing of the puck.

3. Press the puck firmly against the surface for 20 seconds.

4. Repeat this process until all pucks have been installed.

Yes, screw mounting is optional. To do so:

1. Drill pilot holes first if necessary (Diameter 2mm | 5/64”).

2. Insert two screws into the designated holes on the puck wings and tighten.

Do not pull the wires tight between pucks. Ensure the wire is not stretched; it should have some slack.

Using Cable Cover Clips is optional:

1. Place the cable cover clip over the wire between the pucks.

2. Secure the clip using a screw.

Ensure the last string has a waterproof cap installed and screwed on tight.

The Splicer is intended to be used in cases where cutting/shortening a Light String or Extension Cable would improve the installation.

WARNING: Cutting and joining of the wires should only be done by a qualified professional. Do NOT attempt to use a Splicer on the cabling for the Power Supply Unit or Controller. This will render your system inoperable and voids the warranty.

WARNING: Disconnect power supply before cutting.

1. Prepare the connector assembly by sliding the Locking Nut, Silicone Plug, and Shell onto the cable.

2. Cut the cable at the desired location.

3. Strip the outer cable jacket to expose 26mm of the inner wires.

4. Strip the insulation off the individual wires to expose 12mm of copper.

5. Insert the wires into the wire connector block.

6. Screw the components of the splicer together tightly.

Corner Joints are optional.

1. Drill pilot holes first if necessary (Diameter 2mm | 5/64”).

2. Screw the corner mounts into place.

3. Cut the cable cover at a 45-degree angle to fit the corner.

4. Fit the cable covers into the corner mounts.

Do not put the power supply in outdoor areas, regardless of weather conditions.

Do not open or disassemble the device.

Do not submerse.

The lighting chain must not be used without all gaskets in place.

Install only using the mounting means provided.

For outdoor installation, use a covered wall socket fitted with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
