The following tables detail the contents of the 30m and 15m kits for the NANOLEAF NL73K3E05:

The following tools are required for installation:

1. Hex Drill Bit (included)

2. Ladder

3. Drill

4. Scissors

5. Wire Stripper (for Splicer)

6. Screw Driver

Follow these pre-installation steps:

1. Connect all components together. Connect to the outlet only after all components are connected. Verify that the test lights turn on.

2. Download the Nanoleaf App. Pair the Nanoleaf lights with the app prior to installation. Ensure your mobile device is within 10m/30ft of the controller during pairing.

3. Test the connection. Ensure your outlet is within the Wi-Fi range of your home.

4. Ensure the socket is a covered wall socket fitted with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

To mount the PSU (Optional):

1. Clean the surface where the unit will be mounted.

2. If necessary, drill pilot holes first using the included Hex Drill Bit (2mm | 5/64″).

3. Secure the PSU using two screws.

To mount the Controller (Optional):

1. Clean the surface.

2. If necessary, drill pilot holes (2mm | 5/64″).

3. Secure the Controller Mount using two screws.

4. Snap the controller into the mount.

The controller features three buttons with the following functions:

1. Power

2. Scene

3. Brightness

1. Clean the installation surface thoroughly.

2. The recommended distance from the wall or mounting edge is 5–10cm (2–4 inches).

3. Peel the backing off the adhesive on the light puck.

4. Press the light puck firmly against the surface for 20 seconds.

5. Repeat until all pucks have been installed.

6. Optionally, you can secure the lights using screw mounts. Drill pilot holes (2mm | 5/64″) if necessary and secure with screws.

Note: Ensure the wire between pucks is not too tight; allow for some slack to avoid tension.

1. Optionally, use Cable Cover Clips to secure the wires between lights. Attach the covers over the wires.

2. Connect extension cables or additional light strings as needed, ensuring connections are tight.

3. Ensure the last string has a waterproof cap installed and screwed on tight.

The Splicer is intended to be used in cases where cutting or shortening a Light String or Extension Cable would improve the installation. Note that cutting and joining wires should only be done by a qualified professional.

Warning: Disconnect power supply before cutting.

1. Disassemble the splicer components: Shell, Silicone Plug, and Locking Nut.

2. Cut the wire at the desired location.

3. Slide the Locking Nut, Silicone Plug, and Shell onto the wire.

4. Strip the outer cable jacket to expose 26mm of wire. Strip the individual inner wires to expose 12mm of copper.

5. Insert the wires into the connector terminals, matching the corresponding colors/positions. Secure the connection.

6. Reassemble the splicer by screwing the Shell and Locking Nut back together tightly.

1. Position the corner joint brackets.

2. Drill pilot holes (2mm | 5/64″) if necessary and secure the brackets with screws.

3. If needed, cut the cable cover to a 45-degree angle to fit the corner.

4. Snap the cable covers into place over the corner brackets.

When using the NANOLEAF NL73K3E05, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Do not use this product for other than its intended use.

2. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packing.

3. Do not use the light chain when covered or recessed into a surface.

4. Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other sources of heat.

5. Do not secure the wiring with staples, nails, or sharp hooks that could damage the wire.

6. Do not hang objects from the cord, wire, or lights.

7. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords.

8. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product.

9. Do not put the power supply in outdoor areas; maintain at least 4.8m / 16ft from pools and spas.

10. Do not open or disassemble the device.

11. Do not submerse.

12. This lighting chain must not be used without all gaskets being in place.

13. To avoid risk of shock, ensure the product is unplugged before assembling, disassembling, installing, relocating, servicing, or cleaning.

14. For outdoor installation, use a covered wall socket fitted with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
