NOTE: The MILWAUKEE® heated jacket is compatible with other designated 12 V MILWAUKEE® heated gear controllers and power supplies.

To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read and understand the operator’s manual. Failure to follow all instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury.

• Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.

• This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.

• The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense. Do not use while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.

• Do not expose the heated gear to rain or wet conditions while in use.

• Do not abuse the power cable. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the heated gear.

• Do not use the heated gear if the power button does not turn it on and off. It is dangerous and must be repaired.

• Disconnect the battery pack from the heated gear before storing to reduce the risk of starting the gear accidentally.

• Maintain the heated gear. Check for breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect its operation. If damaged, have it repaired before use.

Yes, please follow these specific rules:

• Do not use this heated jacket with an infant, child, a helpless person, or anyone insensitive to heat, such as a person with poor blood circulation.

• If you have a medical condition making you sensitive to overheating, or you use any personal medical devices, consult the device manufacturer and/or your physician to determine if use of this product is appropriate.

• Never use if the inner liner is wet.

• Heating elements are not recommended to touch bare skin.

• Shut off power immediately if discomfort occurs.

• Do not allow the cords to be pinched.

• Do not insert pins, as they may damage the electric wiring.

• For continuous use, set the temperature settings on the low mode.

• To avoid the possibility of heatstroke, disconnect the clothing when moving to an environment with a significantly higher temperature.

• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.

• Use the heated gear only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals may cause burns or a fire.

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

• Do not dispose of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crush or cut a battery, as that can result in an explosion.

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.

• To reduce the risk of fire and personal injury due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow inside them.

• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Always remove the battery pack any time the jacket is not in use.

Inserting the Battery:

1. To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body of the battery holder. Make sure it latches securely into place.

2. Insert the power cable (from inside the pocket) into the power cable port on the battery holder.

3. Push the power cable completely into the battery holder pocket and zip all pockets closed.

Removing the Battery:

To remove the battery, push in the release buttons and pull the battery pack away from the holder.

The heated jacket has two heating zones: the primary zone (chest and back) and the secondary zone (shoulders).

To turn on:

Press and hold (about 2 seconds) the power button on the corresponding side of the control panel for the zone you wish to heat. The LEDs on that side will turn on, and the zone will be set to maximum heat initially.

To cycle through heat levels:

Press the corresponding power button. Each press will cycle through medium, low, and back to maximum heat for that specific heat zone.

To turn off:

Press and hold (about 2 seconds) the power button on the corresponding side of the control panel. The LEDs for that zone will turn off.

The applicable heat setting is indicated by the number of LEDs illuminated on the control panel for that heating zone:

• 1 LED = Low Heat

• 2 LEDs = Medium Heat

• 3 LEDs = High Heat

If the heated jacket turns off unexpectedly, check the connections and charge the battery pack. The battery holder is located inside the pocket. If the jacket does not start or operate properly with a fully charged battery pack, clean the contacts on the battery pack. If the jacket still does not work properly, it may require service.

To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, always disconnect and remove the battery pack and battery holder from the battery holder pocket before washing. Never immerse your battery holder, battery pack, or charger in liquid.

To clean the heated jacket:

1. Remove the battery pack and battery holder.

2. Push the power cord completely into the battery holder pocket and fasten it closed. Zip the centre front zipper closed before washing.

3. Hand wash, very mild process at a maximum of 30°C.

4. Tumble Dry on Low Heat. Exhaust temperature maximum 60°C.

Care Instructions:

• Follow the Care Instructions on the jacket tags.

• Do not bleach.

• Do not iron.

• Do not wring or twist.

• Do not dry clean. Do not use dry-cleaning fluid on this heated jacket.

• When storing, allow the jacket to cool down before folding. Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
