How do I insert or remove the battery for the MILWAUKEE M12 AXIS AHJGRY?

Always remove the battery pack any time the jacket is not in use.

Inserting the Battery

1. To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body of the battery holder. Make sure it latches securely into place.

2. Insert the power cable (from inside the pocket) into the power cable port on the battery holder.

3. Push the power cable completely into the battery holder pocket and zip all pockets closed.

Removing the Battery

To remove the battery, push in the release buttons and pull the battery pack away from the holder.


How do I operate the heating zones on the MILWAUKEE M12 AXIS AHJGRY?

The heated jacket has two heating zones: the primary heating zone (chest and back area) and the secondary heating zone (shoulders area).

To turn on each heating zone, press and hold (about 2 seconds) the button on the corresponding side of the control panel. The LEDs on the corresponding side will turn on. The zone will be set to maximum heat when initially turned on.

To cycle through the 3 heating levels for each side, press the corresponding power button. Each press will cycle through medium, low, and back to maximum heat for the corresponding heat zone.

To turn off, press and hold (about 2 seconds) the button on the corresponding side of the control panel. The LEDs for that zone will turn off.

The applicable heat setting will be indicated by the number of LEDs illuminated:

1 LED = Low Heat

2 LEDs = Medium Heat

3 LEDs = High Heat


What should I do if my MILWAUKEE M12 AXIS AHJGRY turns off unexpectedly?

If the heated jacket turns off unexpectedly, check connections and charge the battery pack. The battery holder is located inside of the pocket.

If the heated jacket does not start or operate properly with a fully charged battery pack, clean the contacts on the battery pack. If the heated jacket still does not work properly, return the heated jacket, charger, and battery pack to a service facility for repairs.


How do I clean my MILWAUKEE M12 AXIS AHJGRY heated jacket?

To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, always disconnect and remove the battery pack and battery holder from the battery holder pocket before washing. Never immerse your battery holder, battery pack, or charger in liquid.

1. Remove the battery pack and holder.

2. Push the power cord completely into the battery holder pocket and fasten it closed. Zip the center front zipper closed before washing.

3. Hand wash, very mild process at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Cleaning solvents may have a deteriorating effect on the insulation of the heating element.

4. Tumble Dry on Low Heat. Do not iron.
