The MEDISANA MC 500 has the following controls:

To charge the battery of your MEDISANA MC 500, follow these steps:

1. Use a 5V mains adapter with an output current of at least 2A.

2. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the adapter and to the USB-C port on the device.

3. The LED indicator will light up in red to indicate the charging process.

4. When the battery is fully charged, the LED color will change to green.

To use the MEDISANA MC 500 massage seat cover, follow these instructions:

1. Place the Massage Seat Cover on a high chair or armchair. Ensure the backrest is high enough to support the entire device.

2. Take a seat and familiarize yourself with the functions. Sit comfortably, upright, and centered so the massage heads can move to the left and right of your spinal column.

3. Switch the device on by pressing the On/Off button. The massage will start at low speed, and the LED indicator will light up in white.

4. Press the Mode button to toggle between low and high speed. The LED indicates low speed with a white color and high speed with a green color.

5. Pressing the On/Off button again switches the device off.

6. If no other button is pressed, the device will automatically switch off after 15 minutes.

7. When the device is switched off (either automatically or manually), the massage heads will move downwards into their parking position.

8. Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before using it again.

Before each use of the MEDISANA MC 500, please observe the following safety measures:

• Always carefully inspect the cable, control unit, and the Massage Seat Cover for damage before use. Do not attempt to use a defective device.

The MEDISANA MC 500 can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction. However, certain groups should take precautions:

• Do not use this unit to supplement or replace medical treatment. Chronic complaints and symptoms may be made worse.

• Do not use the massager, or only after consulting your doctor, if you are pregnant, have a cardiac pacemaker, artificial joints or electronic implants, or suffer from one or more of the following: circulation disorders, varicose veins, open wounds, bruises, broken skin, or inflammation of the veins.

• If you experience any pain or discomfort during the massage, stop immediately and consult your doctor.

• Take care when using the heating function. The appliance has hot surfaces. Do not use the appliance on infants, vulnerable individuals, or people who are not sensitive to heat.

• Before using the massager, consult your doctor regarding any unexplained pain, if you are undergoing medical treatment or using medical equipment.

To clean and maintain your MEDISANA MC 500:

1. Before cleaning, make sure the unit is switched off and disconnected from the mains.

2. Clean the unit once it has cooled down using a soft, damp cloth.

3. Under no circumstances should you use aggressive detergents, strong brushes, solvents, or alcohol, as they may damage the surface of the unit.

4. When cleaning, never immerse the unit in water and make sure that no water gets into the unit.

5. Wait until the device is completely dry before using it again.

6. Undo any kinks in the cable.

7. You should ideally store the device in its original packaging and keep it in a clean, cool, and dry place.
