Always include this instruction manual when passing the product on to third parties.

Only use attachments, accessories and spare parts specified by the manufacturer.

Do not attempt to open the product housing on your own. The warranty is voided for products opened by the customer.

Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the product has been damaged in any way, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the product, when the product has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Use the product only under the conditions of use listed in the specifications.

Keep the product away from liquids and electrically conductive objects that are not necessary for operating the product. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.

Keep the product, accessories and packaging parts out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.

The product generates a stronger permanent magnetic field. This may cause interference with cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs) and other implants. Always maintain a distance of at least 3.94″ (10 cm) between the product component containing the magnet and the cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implant.

The product must be professionally installed.

Ensure that the product is firmly installed. If it is attached to a surface, the load-bearing capacity of that surface must be sufficient.

Only have the product and its accessories mounted by an authorized specialist partner.

The loop amplifier is held by a magnet and can be easily removed for mobile use.

The SENNHEISER LAH 500 loop amplifier holder consists of the following parts:

1. Drill holes for mounting

2. Magnetic holder for the loop amplifier

3. Guide for the loop amplifier

4. Strain relief for the loop cable

5. Cut-out for connecting the power supply unit

6. Guide for the power cable

7. Strain relief for the power cable

To mount the SENNHEISER LAH 500, follow these steps:

1. Select a suitable mounting location for the loop amplifier holder. Ensure that the surface is sufficiently load-bearing.

2. Use the supplied drilling template to mark the drill holes at the desired mounting location. If necessary, align the drilling template using a spirit level.

3. Drill the required holes for mounting.

4. Mount the loop amplifier holder using suitable screws and, if necessary, dowels. The supplied screws are intended for mounting the loop amplifier on the loop amplifier holder and not for mounting on the surface.

To insert the loop amplifier:

1. Insert the loop amplifier from above into the guide of the loop amplifier holder so that the front of the amplifier points upwards.

2. Push the loop amplifier downwards until it is held by the magnetic holder.

To remove the loop amplifier:

Pull the loop amplifier upwards out of the magnetic holder and remove it from the guide of the loop amplifier holder.

1. Guide the cable of the power supply unit through the cable guide on the underside of the loop amplifier holder.

2. Connect the plug of the power supply unit to the DC In socket of the loop amplifier.

3. If necessary, fix the power cable in the strain relief.

1. Connect the loop cable to the Loop Out socket of the loop amplifier.

2. Fix the loop cable in the strain relief.

To clean the SENNHEISER LAH 500, use only a dry and soft cloth.
