1. Turn on the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED headset by sliding the power switch up.

2. Out of the box, the headset will be in LIGHTSPEED wireless mode by default. The LED indicator will be white, indicating USB wireless mode.

3. Insert the LIGHTSPEED Receiver into a USB port on your PC.

4. The LED on the dongle will slow blink white while searching for the headset connection and will turn solid white when the connection is established.

Open the Windows sound settings and confirm that the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED headset is set as the default device for both Output and Input.

1. Turn on the headset by sliding the power switch up. Out of the box, it will be in LIGHTSPEED wireless mode by default, with a white LED indicator.

2. Press and hold the Bluetooth® / Wireless button for 3 seconds.

3. The LED will fast blink blue, and you will hear a sonification to indicate the headset is in pairing mode.

4. Follow the Bluetooth® connection steps for your device and select “G522”.

If the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED headset is powered down while in Bluetooth® mode, it will default to Bluetooth® mode when powered on again. Conversely, if the headset is switched to LIGHTSPEED wireless mode and then powered down, it will default to LIGHTSPEED wireless mode when powered on again.

1. Turn on the headset by sliding the power switch up.

2. Ensure the headset is in LIGHTSPEED wireless mode. You will hear the “LIGHTSPEED” voice prompt and see a white LED indicator when powering on. If not in LIGHTSPEED mode, press the Bluetooth® mode button until you hear the “LIGHTSPEED” voice prompt and see the white LED indicator.

3. Connect your headset to your PC, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch dock using the included USB-A to USB-C cable.

4. The PC will automatically switch audio and communication devices to USB wired. The headset’s LED indicator will show a Cyan color to indicate it is in wired USB mode.

No, USB wired and USB wireless modes cannot be used at the same time. If the USB dongle is plugged in while the USB cable is also plugged in, the LED indicator on the dongle will slowly blink white, indicating it has lost connection with the headset.

1. Plug in the dongle. If it’s already plugged in, unplug it and re-plug it in.

2. Remove the left earpad cushion from the headset.

3. Use a paperclip to long press the headset pairing button located under the cushion.

4. Use a paperclip to press the pairing button on the dongle.

Short press the Bluetooth® / Wireless toggle button. The LED indicator will show which mode the headset is currently in.

Blue = Bluetooth® mode

White = LIGHTSPEED wireless mode

Cyan = USB wired mode

Note: The headset will only switch to USB wired mode when connected via a USB cable. LIGHTSPEED wireless mode cannot be switched to or used while the headset is connected via a USB cable.

When using the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED on Windows or Mac, use the volume roller to adjust the volume. The headset volume will sync with the operating system’s volume.

When using the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED on a PlayStation or Switch (in docked mode), the headset controls its own volume, which is independent of the console’s system volume.

Press the mic mute button to engage the mute function. When the microphone is muted, red will be visible at the base of the mute button, and the LED at the end of the mic boom will light red.

The elastic suspension headband on the LOGITECH G522 LIGHTSPEED is designed to accommodate a wide range of head sizes. The headband can be attached at two anchor points of differing lengths to fine-tune the tension when worn, allowing you to adjust it for your level of comfort.
