When using the LINEA DOMO DO91606W, please follow these safety precautions:

1. Remove the exterior and interior packing. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth and the inside with a wet, lukewarm cloth. Dry the appliance well.

2. Use two or more people to move and install the appliance to avoid injury.

3. Ensure air can circulate around the appliance by leaving a free space of at least 5 cm between it and any other object.

4. Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures between 16°C and 32°C, protected from elements like wind, rain, or water spray.

5. Place the appliance on a firm, steady surface strong enough to carry a filled wine cooler.

6. Before connecting to the power supply, check that the voltage on the rating label matches your home’s voltage.

7. Before connecting the appliance to the power net, let it stand upright for about 2 hours to reduce the risk of cooling system malfunction from transportation.

8. After installation, leave the refrigerator for 24 hours before turning it on to allow the refrigerant to settle.

9. Allow the appliance to run empty for 8 hours so the compartment can cool to the appropriate temperature.

10. You can level the appliance using the adjustable legs.

To install the stainless steel handle on the left side of the door:

1. Pull away the door gasket in the area where the handle is to be installed. The gasket is easily displaced by hand; no tools are necessary.

2. Align the handle with the installed screws. Tighten the screws using a Phillips crosshead screwdriver until the handle is flush and secured tightly against the door frame. Do not overtighten, as this can cause damage to the handle assembly.

3. Replace the door gasket to its original position.

If you choose not to use the handle, follow step 1 to access the installation screws, remove them, and place the two decorative plugs into the two holes. Then, proceed to step 3 to replace the door gasket.

The control panel has the following functions:

• **On/off switch (6):** Press for a few seconds to turn the appliance on or off.

• **Celsius/Fahrenheit button (5):** Press for a few seconds to change the temperature display unit.

• **Temperature buttons (2+4):** Use the buttons to raise or lower the temperature. Each press changes the temperature by 1°C. The temperature can be set between 5-22°C (41-72°F).

• **On/off light button (1):** Push this button to turn the interior lights on or off.

The selected temperature will be shown on the display.

1. Remove all bottles from the wine cooler.

2. Tape all loose parts to the inside of the wine cooler.

3. Set the support feet at the bottom of the appliance to their lowest position to avoid damage.

4. Tape the door shut.

5. Make sure that the appliance is kept upright during transportation.

1. Empty the fridge before moving the shelves.

2. To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to have the door all the way open when pulling shelves out.

3. For easy access to the bottles, pull the shelves approximately 1/3 out of the rail compartment.

4. To remove the shelves, pull each shelf approximately 1/3 out. Use a long flat screwdriver to press down the right plastic notch (as shown in Figure A) and at the same time lift the left plastic notch (as shown in Figure B).

5. Proceed to pull out the shelf slowly.

• **For short vacation periods,** leave the control knobs at their usual settings.

• **During longer absences:**

1. Remove all bottles from the wine cooler.

2. Disconnect from the electrical outlet.

3. Clean the refrigerator thoroughly, including the defrost pan.

4. Leave the door open to avoid possible formations of condensate, mould or odours.

Most power failures are corrected within an hour or two and will not affect your refrigerator temperatures. However, you should minimize the number of door openings while the power is off.

1. Turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket and remove the bottles from the wine cooler.

2. Wipe the door seal with clear water only and then wipe dry thoroughly.

3. Clean the inside and outside of the wine cooler with warm water and a mild detergent.

4. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning products.

5. Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.

6. Do not place warm or hot objects on top of the appliance.

7. Do not clean the appliance with anything made of metal.

The wine cooler has a carbon filter to prevent unpleasant odours. Replace the filter annually. To replace the carbon filter, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the top racks in front of the filter at the top right.

2. The carbon filter is located in the rear wall. Turn it a quarter turn counterclockwise.

3. Remove the filter from the rear wall.

4. Insert a new filter and turn it clockwise.

If your LINEA DOMO DO91606W does not work, check the following:

• Check if the plug is connected to the power outlet and if the voltage indicated on the label on the appliance corresponds with the voltage of the power net.

• Press the on/off switch to turn on the unit.

If your wine cooler is not cool enough, consider these possible causes:

• Check the temperature settings. Ambient temperatures may require a higher or lower temperature setting.

• The door is being opened too frequently.

• The door is not shut properly.

• The rubber seal of the door does not close off properly.

If the wine cooler vibrates, check the following:

• Check whether the wine cooler is level.

• Make sure the bottles do not touch each other.

If your wine cooler is too noisy, check if the unit may not be level and check the ventilator.

If the door does not close properly, check the following:

• The wine cooler may not be level.

• The rubber seal may not be strong enough.

• The racks may not be placed well into the wine cooler.

Frequent compressor cycling can be caused by:

• The temperature setting is too cool.

• The door is not closed securely.

• The door has been kept open for too long or opened too frequently.

• The rubber seal of the door does not close off properly.

This is normal operation for the appliance.

If the light does not work, try pressing the on/off button for the light.
