How do I install the anti-tipping device for the LIEBHERR HCB 1560?

The anti-tipping bracket must be installed to prevent the unit from tipping after it is installed.

WARNING:

• The anti-tipping bracket must be mounted to prevent the appliance from tipping when the fully stocked door is opened.

• Be sure that there is no plumbing or electrical wiring located in this area which screws or drills could damage.

Installation Steps:

1. Mark the center line of the appliance on the back wall. Align the anti-tipping bracket center to this line.

2. Depending on the constitution of the floor and wall, use one of the following mounting options:

With wall stud or concrete walls: Mount the bracket to the wall stud or use wall plugs for concrete walls. Use 6 x 63 mm screws.

With wall plate: Mount the bracket with the wall plate, turning the 6 x 63 mm screws in at an angle.

With wooden floors: Secure the bracket to the wooden floor using 6 x 63 mm screws.

With concrete floors: Use the provided anchors to mount the bracket to the concrete floor.

IMPORTANT: The anti-tipping bracket must be fitted at the same height as the toe kick area. If you set the appliance to a higher level by laying spacers underneath, the anti-tipping bracket must be fitted accordingly. If the floor slopes sideways, the bracket must be fitted horizontally using spacers as needed.

What should I do if my cabinet is deeper than 25 inches for the LIEBHERR HCB 1560?

A proper function of the anti-tipping bracket is warranted within a cabinet depth of between 24″ and 25″. If the cabinet is deeper than 25″, a wooden spacer must be mounted between the appliance and the wall.

WARNING: Be sure the wooden spacer is fastened securely to the floor.

To measure for the wooden spacer, note that the appliance depth is 24″. The spacer should fill the gap between the back of the appliance and the wall. For inset kitchen cabinets, the depth of the spacer depends on the clearance between the appliance and the wall, minus the panel thickness. The spacer should be 29-1/2″ wide and 2″ high.

How do I apply the cover strips to my LIEBHERR HCB 1560?

Cover strips are applied above, between, and below the securing plates on the side walls of the appliance.

1. Cut the cover strips to the required lengths: 3-11/16″ (93 mm), 35-11/16″ (907 mm), and 28-7/16″ (722 mm).

2. Fit the adhesive cover strips, leaving a gap of 1/4″ to each securing plate. This ensures problem-free fitting of the covers.
