How do I operate the CHERUB WSM-330 Mechanical Metronome?
1. Remove the pendulum stopper at the bottom of the device.
2. Hold the metronome from the back with one hand and grab the upper portion of the cover with the other, then pull it towards yourself to take the cover off.
3. Place your metronome on a flat surface.
4. Turn the winding key clockwise to wind up the clockwork, stop rotating when you feel a resistance.
5. Set your desired tempo by sliding the weight up and down. The upper edge of the weight should be in exact alignment with the lines on the tempo dial plate.
6. Pull out/push in the beat select slider to a preferred position (0/2/3/4/6) to set the beat.
7. Release the pendulum from the pendulum hook by pressing the pendulum down and sliding it out to either the left or right side.
8. After using the metronome, stop the pendulum and raise the weight to the upper part of the pendulum, secure the pendulum with the pendulum hook by pressing it down and sliding it in.
9. Snap on the cover and store the metronome in a safe place.
What precautions should I take when using the CHERUB WSM-330?
The pendulum stopper can secure the pendulum in place and protect the metronome from damage during transportation.
WARNING: DO NOT release the pendulum before the pendulum stopper is removed, otherwise the mechanism can be damaged.
How should I care for and maintain my CHERUB WSM-330?
• Always put on the cover after use.
• Avoid using or keeping in a dusty or damp place.
• To clean the metronome with a soft cloth.
• Never use volatile liquids or chemicals to clean the metronome.
