Before using the range for the first time, you must burn off the protective coating on the heating elements and burners. It is important to ensure adequate ventilation during this process.

For the oven heating elements: Set the temperature to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Turn the function selector to the Bake element and the Broil element separately for approximately 15 minutes each.

For the cooktop burners: Set the burner selector to the maximum setting for 5 minutes. Afterward, switch off the burners and allow them to cool down completely.

Additionally, you should:

1. Remove all exterior and interior packaging.

2. Remove the protective film on steel and aluminum parts.

3. Clean the interior surface using a soft cloth with lukewarm water.

4. Check that all included parts are in the box, such as the backsplash assembly, oven racks, rotisserie, anti-tip brackets, and oven drip pan.

The LANBO LB-ERK24RC-W features a ceramic glass cooktop with four elements. The following table provides the specifications for each element location:

Follow these steps to install the backsplash on your range:

Step 1. Fix 2 screws (M4*8) to the corresponding holes at the back of the cover, leaving a gap of about 3mm.

Step 2. Put the backsplash plate on the cover, ensuring the large holes go through the heads of the screws.

Step 3. Push the backsplash plate so that the small holes align with the screws.

Step 4. Tighten the screws using a screwdriver.

The range must be installed levelly for proper operation. There are four screw-type leveling legs at the bottom of the unit. Rotate the legs clockwise to rise the height and counterclockwise to lower the height. It is recommended to use a leveling instrument to check the level of the range during this process.

To prevent the range from tipping over, the anti-tip bracket must be installed properly on either the left or right side of the appliance:

Step 1. Place the anti-tip bracket on the floor where the range is going to be installed.

Step 2. Locate and mark the drill positions through the 6 holes in the bracket, then set the bracket aside.

Step 3. Use a 5/16 inch masonry drill to drill two holes to a suitable depth.

Step 4. Insert 6 plastic anchors into the holes and place the bracket back into position.

Step 5. Fix the bracket to the floor using the supplied screws.

Step 6. Slide the appliance into position.

The surface control knobs are operated by pushing the knob in lightly and turning it to the desired position. When an element is ignited, the indicator light will be lit. The knobs have a variable power output from LO to HI. Turning the knob toward HI increases heat, while turning it toward LO decreases heat. Always ensure all control knobs are turned to the OFF position when you are not cooking.

To ensure efficiency and safety when using the cooktop, follow these tips:

1. Use cookware with flat bottoms and tight fitting lids to conserve energy and shorten cooking time.

2. Match the pan size to the element size. A slightly larger pan is acceptable as it prevents spillovers from contacting the heat surface, but a smaller pan wastes energy.

3. Only use glass, glass ceramic, ceramic, or earthenware cookware if the manufacturer specifically suggests they are suitable for range top service.

4. Ensure pan bottoms are clean and dry before placing them on the elements.

5. Turn cookware handles inward so they do not extend over adjacent surface units or the edge of the range to avoid accidental spills or burns.

To start using the oven, you must set the Cooking mode knob, the Oven Temperature knob, and the Timer knob at the same time. The oven will not start unless all three are set. To regulate the temperature, rotate the temperature knob to the desired value printed on the control panel. When the range is not in use, always return all knobs to their OFF positions. Always keep the oven door closed during use.

To install a shelf: Open the oven door and insert the shelf at the desired cooking level. The shelf is equipped with a security block to prevent it from being accidentally pulled all the way out.

To remove a shelf: Ensure the oven is cool. Open the door, pull the shelf out until it reaches the stop lock, then lift and pull to extract it completely. Always place racks in the desired location while the oven is cool.

Step 1. Lift the small hook on the left side upward while simultaneously pushing the small hook on the right side downward.

Step 2. Pull the drawer straight out.

Step 3. To replace the drawer, align it with the rails and push it inward until it is secure. Do not store flammable materials in the bottom drawer.

Step 1. Open the oven door to its full extent.

Step 2. Turn the hinge as shown in the PDF illustrations.

Step 3. Hold the door firmly on both sides.

Step 4. Gently close the door partway and withdraw the hinge pins from their location.

Step 5. To replace the door, repeat these steps in the reverse order.

Before cleaning, disconnect the range from the power supply and ensure all units are cool.

Interior Oven Surfaces: Wash with a solution of 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of warm water. Wipe the inside walls with a soft cloth soaked in this solution or soapy water while the oven is still slightly warm.

Racks and Shelves: Wash with a mild detergent solution.

Exterior Cabinet: Clean with warm water and a mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.

Stainless Steel Parts: Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean along the direction of the grain. For difficult dirt, use a specific non abrasive detergent or a little hot vinegar.

Cooktop: Wipe spills with a damp cloth as soon as they have cooled down. Do not use steel wool or steel brushes on the cooktop surface.

Step 1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and let the oven cavity cool down.

Step 2. Remove the protective cover from the light fixture.

Step 3. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one suitable for high temperatures (300 to 570 degrees Celsius). The replacement bulb must meet these specifications: 120V, 60Hz, 25W, G9.

Step 4. Replace the protective cover.
